“oh, an uncomfortable amount of people probably can, but i appreciate the attempted compliment.” he laughs, chewing on his straw. he wishes this was the first time he stunk of beer, but a lass, this was one of many time. he wishes he felt shame, but he was long past that point. way past.
jaeki offers a sympathetic smile, “well, i would offer to take you out, but i don’t really date.” he shrugs, “i normally keep things physical. and i wouldn’t want to lead you on. but, uh,” he leans closer to her from over the table, “that guy is an idiot, because you’re stunning. good riddance.” he laughs, and stabs the cheese fries with a fork as their set down, greedily chewing a mouthful and basically moaning as he slouches in his seat. so much better than microwave dinners. he was in bliss.
he sucks on the straw and nods, pulling off with a sigh, “good luck finding a nickname for jaeki that is’s like, jae, or jaek.” he grins, “i’ll be impressed if you can.”
Smiling she rests her chin on her hand and takes a sip of the drink. “I’ve never been too good at compliments. They either make zero sense or are overly generic.” Yun tries to remember the short time that she spent bar hopping. She hardly remembers the nights. But she’s certain there were plenty of table dances.
"Duly noted.” Laughing she shakes her head. “Online dating has always been pretty sketchy.” Scrunching her nose she smiles. “I think I’ll count myself lucky.” The night was turning around and she was finding herself happy that he didn’t show. Making her briefly wonder if she was looking for a relationship or companionship. Piercing fries with her fork she smiles eating them. She hadn’t realized how hungry she’d gotten sitting around.
