It would’ve been a crime if Katherine didn’t take the opportunity to have some fun while the rides were still around, now wouldn’t it? Granted, it wasn’t the most fun activity, but she had nothing better to do that day, and quite frankly, she was feeling rather restless. Quickly jumping into the bumping car, she buckled up and once the car started, she gripped onto the steering wheel; brows furrowed and gaze extremely focused on her target, “I crashed my Volvo like ten times, I’m extremely good at this, it’s totally my forte.” She chuckled. She was extremely competitive, and she’d be damned if she didn’t win that round. Was there even a price? Probably not, but that didn’t matter now. She slammed the front of the car into the other, before sticking her tongue out, “At least try to make this a little harder for me. It’s not fun this way.”
Jace wasn’t known for losing gracefully. He loathed admitting when he lost, let alone actually doing so. He jutted his jaw out, stubborn and determined. “I don’t know if I would admit to the Volvo thing, princess.” He turned the wheel of the bumper car quickly, circling around the small area in order to re-group. If she wanted to play dirty, he could play dirty. He’d been practicing infusion, turning both himself and an object invisible. Those more proficient with the gift could do so without touching the object, but Jace wasn’t quite there yet. He could barely hold it longer than a few seconds, but it did lend him enough time to cut a corner and slam into the side of her bumper car, a force unseen. The jolt knocked his concentration, and he faded back into view, grinning like a Cheshire cat. “How was that?”
