Please help my kitty Mikoto 🐾
As you may or may not know my 8-years-old cat Mikoto who has chronic kidney disease (CKD) had two major surgeries last month (see this post for more details).
First some news…
Mikoto is back home after a long long stay at the clinic.
She is slowly recovering from her surgeries. She was very weak when I got her back.
Mikoto one week after her second surgery (we sewed her a little body so she doesn’t pull on her stitches). So cute, isn’t she? 😊
But now she’s doing much better (see video and photos below).
I’m taking care of her all day long. We have been able to stabilize her CKD by doing subcutaneous fluid therapy. I also got her some natural plant-based supplements to help her kidneys. I’m doing anything in my power to help her get better. 😣
Now that she has double subs, she needs a thorough follow up which cost a lot.
She had two appointments post-surgery and that alone cost $700 (blood work, urinalysis, medications…).
✅ Thanks to your precious help I got to pay most of the bills so far 🙏
📢 But Mikoto and I still need help to pay off all of the bills. 📢
So far I still have more than $3396 to finish paying off her surgery bills (you can check gofundme for more info).
I spent all my savings on her and I don’t have anything left.
Please keep reblogging, sharing and donating if you can 🙇 🥺
The smallest amount helps ❤️✊

UPDATE 04/18
⚠️URGENT!!!⚠️
I need help! I have only a few days to pay $1500 and I don’t have anything left!
My Mikoto has an infection and I have to buy her antibiotics (it costs $100). I can’t do it without your help!
📢PLEASE REBLOG AND HELP ME SPREAD THE WORD📢
If 100 people gave $1 it could go a long way. Please help her 🙏

Please help me pay my cat’s surgery
My 8 years-old cat Mikoto just had a kidney surgery that saved her life.
One of her kidney had two stones which were preventing her from draining urine correctly. The doctor said her kidneys were full of pus.
Post-surgery, she’s doing ok but we don’t know how ok she will be. But I have high hopes.
Now I have to pay her medical bills. It’s very expensive: almost 4000$.
So far, I spent 1000$ and I don’t have any more left to pay the bills.
It’s really URGENT.
I know I’m asking a lot and I don’t really like doing it but it’s my last solution.
She’s truly the best cat anyone could wish for.
She’s a lovely cat who likes to play and hang out near you. She’s really cute and my family and I love her so very much.
She’s a true fighter. While her kidneys were slowly failing she was in tremendous pain but she kept going. She’s very brave.
That’s why I can’t give up on her and why I need your help.
Help me let her have a few more years please.

Please share a lot and if you could donate even 1$ it would help a lot.
I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you so much.
UPDATE 02/18
First I want to thank each and everyone of you reblogged and donated. I greatly appreciate your support ❤️
Some good news : Mikoto’s blood test is much better which means her kidneys are responding :)
As for the kidney stones, they’re still there and they are becoming obstructive :(
The surgery will be programmed sometimes this week I think, unless there’s a miracle and the stones pass by themselves (which is very rare).
I received the bill for all the care she received so far.
It amounts to approximately to 5880$. They want me to pay immediately which is not possible for me.
So please it’s very important that you keep reblogging if you can. Even the smallest amount help me.
I also created a paypal for those of you who can’t donate through gofundme.

Thanks again. 🙏
🚨UPDATE 02/20
⚠️URGENT⚠️
My cat is getting surgery this Friday. The cost is 5500$.
I can’t pay in multiple times since I’m already paying the first bill with this method. So I have to pay in full now.
If you could donate and share I would really appreciate it 🙇

🔴 UPDATE 02/25
Mikoto had her surgery. Everything went fairly well. She had two subs placed on her kidneys. Now we have to wait and see how her kidneys respond.😌
As you can see (video here) she’s lost a lot of weight and is still very weak. But she has begun to eat again and her blood levels are beginning to drop to a correct level (it’ll remain high but she normally still can have a few more years 🤞).
She’s fighting through it all and she couldn’t have made it so far without your help.
I am grateful for all the donations and support. You are the best. Thank you for helping my Mikoto. 💕
So far I paid 3640 € ( ~$4132) and I need to pay another 6000 € (give or take).
For the first bill I have a monthly payment set (1000€ for each month for 3 months) and for the second I already paid 2000€ in full and the rest of the bill is due (in full) for next month. (Ofc you can contact me if you want more details).
📣 Please keep sharing and donating if you can 📣. The race to save Mikoto is a long one and I need your help to finish it. 🙏🙏

“Hello! I’m Ezekiel. I am currently diagnosed with Autism, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, complex PTSD, Bipolar Disorder Type II, OCD, ADHD, and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
As you can imagine, I face a lot of barriers in my day to day life. I struggle with forgetting where I am, or wandering and losing time during spells of disassociation. I am frequently dizzy and can fall or even lose consciousness easily if forced to be on my feet without a stabilizing aid. I struggle to lift items off of the ground, and to stand up from a sitting position. I experience semi-regular panic attacks that leave me unresponsive and unable to move without intervention. Remembering important things like my medication or even eating regularly is difficult for me.
Despite all of this, I try to live as normally and functionally as possible. However, I’ll be moving into regular university soon, and in two years I will no longer live in partially supported housing. A service dog would be a great benefit for my independence and success, but the cost on a fixed income means that I am two to three years behind until I will have enough savings to begin the process.
Currently at my lowest income and highest expenses, I have an additional 250 dollars a month. Once I have a service dog, I will receive an additional 95 dollar grant monthly from my provinces government. This will help cover full insurance for my dog (estimated at 90/mo), and having done my own research with the assumption I will have a larger dog (between 80 and 120 pounds), I have determined I should budget an additional 150 dollars a month for food. The starting costs for the dogs first year are estimated at about 2000 dollars, and the pre-subsidized cost of service training is 3000 dollars. To apply for the training I must already have at least the 3000 on hand, but it will currently be over a year before I will have enough saved. The waitlist is about six months, and I would need to ensure I would already have at least 1000 of the first years costs put aside by that time.
Due to my severe health concerns, I cannot do entry-level work, which is why I am pursuing post-secondary education as I desire to be financially independent eventually and not need to rely on government disability pensions. The longer it takes for me to ensure full independence and know I will be able to manage full time schooling, the longer it will be until I am able to begin to support myself.
I am hoping to crowdfund the amount I need by this Spring, and will be incredibly grateful for any support I am provided towards my independence.”
Reblogs are greatly appreciated ♡ !
