Brought Echo back and tweaked her just a bit.
Considering bringing Echo back on a new account and making a few changes (aka, playing her as if the curse faded completely over the centuries). Any thoughts/opinions?
Kind of thinking about archiving this account due to inactivity. Just a heads up.

"Echo! Echo!" James called, running forward and spinning her around. "Echo, guess what! 'm gettin married!"
The nymph turned quickly at the sound of his voice, a large smile spreading across her features. Her eyes widened at his words and she waited for him to set her down so she could pull out her ipad.
“Married? That’s wonderful, James! I am so very happy for you.”

He smiled slightly and returned the wave, not expecting anyone to be around. “Hey. Nice night.” He had his hood pulled up and could see his breath as he spoke, but the sky was clear and the stars bright.
She nodded and set the book aside, tilting her head a bit. It wasn’t anyone ventured up here anymore. She slid the small ipad from her bag and moved her fingers across it’s screen before holding it up for him to see. “Hello, I am Echo. Please excuse me, I cannot properly speak.”
Reading the text, he nodded. “I’ve heard of you. I’m Comus. Nice to meet you.”
She winced a little at that, but the smile never faltered. "The pleasure is mine, I assure. What brings you the mountains at such late an hour?"

She barely noticed anyone had come into the clearing until she heard the light falls. Glancing up, she offered a small smile and waved in greeting.
iacchos replied to your post: [text] Echo, how would you like to go out with my son and I? We’re spending the day together and I’d love to have you join us if you’re free.
[text] Fantastic. We’ll come pick you up soon! I was thinking of taking him to one of those indoor play places since the playgrounds are all frozen for the time being. Do you think that would be alright? Would he like that?
[text] Sounds perfect. Any child that likes playgrounds should like a place such as that.

[text] That sounds lovely! All I have is time, really and I'd be honored.

Sensing a familiar presence, Echo wandered out of the woods and leaned against an old oak tree, studying him. A small smirk spread across her lips and she waved, shaking her head at him.
Dionysos smiled when he saw the familiar face and he waved, chuckling when she shook her head. “And how do you fare, little Echo?”
Echo couldn't help but make a face at the little comment, but it was reassuring to her. A familiarity that she clung to on her bad days. Slipping the ipad from her bag, she whirled her fingers over the screen before holding it out to him. "Well enough. I missed you greatly though."
