Rage. That's all I've felt for a while now. All I am anymore is a rageful ogre, the one thing I didn't want to be. Now I truly am "Oni-Yamaoka" here in the fog.

A few more tears spilled down the large man's face behind the mask. The cradle created by the wolf was warm and comforting.

His head fell into his hands. It was true he was a demon. Oni-Yamaoka in life and The Oni in death. Why was she being so kind to him. Belief stated that she warded off demons, fought against evil like him.

The pain of it all still tugged at his no longer beating heart. It radiated through him causing the rage inside him to almost disappear completely. "I'm... sorry. Merciful brilliant Amaterasu-ōkami..."

"No, you don't need to be sorry - you shouldn’t dam the river in you, if you need to cry go ahead. . I shall be here to aid your hurt." The goddess said with a flick of her tail, maybe once or twice.

Amaterasu sat there, staring at the other with void colored eyes that knew far more. Even demons needed kindness sometimes and this one did so that is what they were getting. Then with a dark tipped tail she made the large one sit down as she was curled around them.

"Let all of that pain out, I don't mind. . ."

He was sorry with every ounce of his existence. The pain, it was to much. He let the tears spill, tears he should have let out a long time ago for his crimes.

He let everything out until there were no tears left to spill. His heart felt the tendrils of peace creep into it. He closed his eyes taking in a deep, mournful breathe.

"Thank you amaterasu-ōkami, thank you."

The large warrior remained kneeled before the wolf, head bowed. Under the oni mask Kazan was forced to wear, mournful tears spilled.

He was an oni, a demon. He didn't deserve to be graced by Amateratsu-okami. Her warm smile, he didn't deserve from the deity.

His voice still bearly audible, "I-I..." How dare he speak to the sun goddess? He would only corrupt her, he deserved to suffer for what he was.

The flowers spread around them as Kazan's gaze remained fixated on the ground. "I'm... I'm a demon. I-I deserve to be punished."

The added warmth from the white wolf only added to the pain that Kazan felt deep within his long since dead heart.

Oh. . . He's hurting - this was a different kind of grief but she listened. "Child -" The wolf started speaking, firm but still so warm. She did shift to curl around the sadden one then nudge their cheek. . cradling them more gently than any other arms could.

What an sorrowful one, it's so sad to see.

"Please, do not cry. . do not cry my child. You may be a demon but clearly, you're in so much Heartache. So no I shall NOT punish you after seeing how much hurt you are in."

What a gentle fire she was. . . giving an oni mercy.

A large warrior crashed through the forest with heavy foot steps. Eyes hollow as his silver hair flowed behind him.

In his path was a white haired albino boy. Kazan stopped dead in his tracks. His hollowed eyes glared down at the young boy.

The kid blocked the path towards Kazan's home. He waited for the kid to say something or to move. Patience was not something Kazan had in large amounts. However, the boy reminded him of his son

The boy's ears pricked up before attempting to move aside "oh...I'm I'm sorry sir...I.. I didn't relize i was in you're way...." silas thinks before bowing out of respect

"I like you're armour " he gives the oni a kind smile "do you practice...martial arts....would you be able to teach me?"

Kazan laughed heartedly again, "In time child. In time. I could teach you Bugei if you wish. Do you own a blade?"

"Do my claws count?" He showed off his claws that were part of his nails

Kazan looker at the claws. They were sharp but not sword enough, "unfortunately child, they do not count as a sword."

"As do I but that is not why we are here." Kazan settled. "If you wish to face your guilt, the triangular one is the one you must seek."

"I already tried..... he let me go and didn't see me as guilty .." he looked at the moon snarling at it..."do you have lycans or werewolves in you're time?"

Werewolf? Lycans? Kazan was unsure of what those words meant fully. He knew of wolves and their guidance they provide. He also knew of deities. He respected wolves.

"Shinto belief we have wolves are spirits. The Okuri-ōkami are..." He thought of the English translation, "Escorts in the mountains, guides."

He thought more about the translation, "Ōkami are our... deities. They are Ōguchi no Magami... uh.. True Mouth of God."

He thought some more, "shirōkami... white wolf is legendary led hero Yamato Takeru through oni infested forests."

"Wolves are to be respected, not feared in my culture." He finished his answer to the boy's question

"That's actually kind of sweet......but no you know what I'm gonna try and keep that in mind" silas gives kazan a tired smile.... "kazan you've been here a long time...are there full moons here?"

Kazan thought for a moment before responding, "there are very few places in the realm where the entity doesn't have a full moon. My realm is no exception."

He ponder some more before speaking, "The red moon.... the blood moon is the biggest often triggers other happening amongst the realm and it workings."

Silas visibly paled "when it's full moon...noone is safe i change....horribly painfully...against my will....could the blood moon allow me. .....control?"

"I..." The question caught the warrior by suprise, "for that I cannot speak of. I wish I could give the answers you seek as I do not have that knowledge."

Kazan now cursed to be an oni. His rage was now something he carried in his afterlife as much as he carried it with him in life.

Shinto belief carried a legend of The ōkami. God and divine messengers. Kazan had never seen any of these spirits but had the belief instilled in his very being.

When he stumbled across the white wolf with the reddish orange markings, he knew exactly who it was, Amaterasu-ōkami.

The large warrior never bowed to anyone but the large warrior fell to his knees. His usual booming voice a whisper, "Amaterasu-ōkami..."

An twitch of a ear, she turned her head towards the face that was on his knees before her. He recognised the wolf - of course her Crimson markings were easily identifiable though this was fast.

Although they bow their head slightly in return in respect. While eyes fixate on them as a quick sniff was made. . . she sat infront of the other and there were a warm smile upon her features.

Amaterasu could sense that something wasn't right, atleast the wolf should go gentle at first as flowers flourish in hue of many around her.

"Yes. . you call my name, Child?" She'd ask softly tail wagging with grace.

Kazan couldn't help but let out a chuckle as the boy bowed. His rage all but seemed to disappear when he did so allowing the giant to be free if only for a moment. "Please child. Do not feel you have to bow to me," his voice was a thunderous sound but now carried lighthearted tones with it.

"I like you're armour " he gives the oni a kind smile "do you practice...martial arts....would you be able to teach me?"

There was silence on the wind. All except for the twinkling from a near by wind chime hanging from the porch of a dilapidated traditional home. The estate was large and reminded Kazan of his home. A home in which he had forsaken long ago for his mission of pride.

The large warrior rest on a rock near the house. Glaring at it from behind the ugly mask. That's when he spotted movement from the corner of his eye. A mist like substance that could be seen through. Although it was in the shape of something living. Something almost alive.

"Why have you come to this part of the realm?"

The Yamaoka Estate is one of the many parts of the Realm that fascinated The Wraith any time he'd enter it. Despite the bloodied history behind the surface, the orange-to-blue hues intricately implemented on every inch of the map simply fascinated him.

Philip partly theorized the culture preserved within this pocket of the Nightmare may be the cause of his deeper intrigue. Or perhaps the wicked beauty of it all; beauty beyond the bloodshed.

Eyes darted from the Arbor to the stone statues dotting the grass as he stalked in thought. However, he'd been too caught up praising the architecture mentally, forgetting no one's ever truly alone in this Nightmare.

When he approaches the house he stops as he hears the thunderous voice's question. Philip turns, the long grass surrounding his legs shuffling beneath, leaving no doubt of his presence. The Wraith isn't surprised at The Oni before him; revealing himself with his bell merely seconds after his observation.

He'd been wandering from Realm to Realm in the hopes of discovering anything to scavenge. Philip wasn't particularly looking for anything specific; just items to tinker with and stash away from the Entity's ever-watching gaze.

Gestures began, explaining with his hands that he'd been prodding around for items and nothing more. His calloused hands produced some tattered cloth and scrap metal he had stashed away in his smaller waist pouch.

Philip held the items out to Kazan to examine for himself; he wasn't exactly searching for anything of more value. Tinkering kept Philip's mind distracted, but without more scraps he couldn't do much to keep that trend alive.

A bell sounded revealing The Wraith. Kazan turned his attention to the man. He had only worked with him a few times in trials when two killers were allowed. He never reached out to the others after trials either.

Kazan examined the gestures. Of course he remembered now. This man didn't speak, much like many of creatures the creatures in the fog. He took into interpretation the gestures combined with the pocket of crude items that he was scavenging.

As The Wraith continued to explain himself, Kazan couldn't hear the ever ringing presence of The Entity in his head. He felt at peace for once, the rage he so often felt laying low within him.

The giant warrior stood up from where he had perched himself, "Follow wraith. I may have items for your cause."

What others would consider ironically rare, Philip cherished for a moment of shared tranquil.

To the unknowingly, there stood a clangorous brute and a sullen mute seemingly communicating. To Philip however, Kazan was company; a welcomed acquaintance.

Despite the lack of working 'proper' verbal speech, The Wraith was quite communicative with those around he found close. Those being usually The Trapper and The Hillbilly almost exclusively when it came to deeper topics.

Kazan wasn't entirely new to Philip however.

Although, they still needed more shared time so he could learn their camaraderie. He's seen the mighty roar of his killer, but there was more to Kazan he had yet to discover closely.

Debate wasn't even an idea on Philip's mind; he was eager to enthrall on this phenomenal opportunity with Kazan. Admittedly, he was also itching to clear his unsatisfied mind.

Without hesitation, he returned his slew of scraps back into its designated pouch. Lanky legs followed behind as The Wraith proceeded with The Oni towards the promised haul.

The large warrior trudged forward with heavy foot steps. It had been a while since he had shared his realm with anyone other than his distant granddaughter, Rin, who had nothing to do with him.

The large estate was large and had seen many generations since Kazan. Things from his past and Rin's present showed up in both the family residence and the sanctum.

He led the way to the large temple as it was a while to get there from his home. "Tell me wraith, what do you craft with these items?"

Kazan felt the wind pick up slightly carrying leaves dead plants. How he missed the cherry blossoms that he remembered being around the estate. The Entity forgot to drag that detail with her when she stole the area for herself.

He stopped at the border between the sanctum of wrath and the family residence. He knew that Rin tended to hang out its outskirts. A soft whisper escaped "forgive me Rin" then he proceeded watching the wraith follow behind

"Just beyond the small statues is a smaller temple. We will go there"
