i love that this is just one of a number of posts that have gone around in the last few days tacitly acknowledging that you need to feel your feelings in order to move through them

My friend found a picture of this design on Pinterest and asked me to recreate it, which was reflected in the price because I charged only for materials and time, not for design as it is NOT MY DESIGN! I merely recreated it, with a few minor modifications.

Funnily enough, this is my second Anastasia piece. Both have been gifts for different friends, and this friend likes the live musical in particular, so it’s inspired by the logo for the Broadway Musical.Â

Anywho, here’s my most recently finished project. The lovely @unhappy-plum commissioned me for this very specific Drake and Josh scene. To be honest, it’s probably the funniest thing I’ve ever cross stitched.Â

Day 30: Another gay pride flag!
I thought it would be nice to open and close on the same page: Unity. While its great that we all have our own pride flags, the rainbow flag was originally created for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community; to unify us. The difference between this “updated” pride flag and the one I made on the first is the addition of the black and brown stripes, which were added to specifically give more recognition to the POC in our community.Â
Pride month is over, but the pride in ourselves isn’t going anywhere. Happy pride month everyone. <3
