Anyway, yeah, it's a blast and hah! Are you kidding? I've tried to carry a few of them, but have you seen, Air or Wood or Crash(his drills)? Metal and Heat are probably the only two I'd consider!

"Hey! Long time no see huh Red?"
Plum! Its been too long. What's the scoop?
We're on a boat and...
Red eyes leered at Quick as he snatched the flask from Air’s hand. He didn’t return his brother’s smile. It wasn’t his intention to share, and Quick knew it. He knew Quick knew.
"Last I checked, I’m pretty sure babysitting you kids is my job,” Air retorts. Without warning, he yanks the flask back. “Most importantly, I paid good money for this. Illegitimate money, but damn good money nonetheless.” Stern faced, he already looked bored of the crowd.
He motioned for Quick to follow as they pushed through lines upon lines of people. Wherever they were going, Air just wanted silence and a clear view of the ocean.
"…I didn’t expect the doctor to go all out, so let’s not visit the bar yet. We’re drinking like the wealthy tonight, so why not savor it?”
The leer did nothing to influence Quick's actions. Instead, he just grinned, challenging that look that he never took seriously. He should have, but the way he took Air was not akin to the juggernaut he probably wanted to be perceived as. Nor did Air want to share, but Quick was going to make following that terribly hard.
"Then who gets to babysit you?" He joked back, letting him take his flask back when he had a fair portion of it. "is that my job?" He cut into Air's statement about paying for good things, likely having heard this speech many times before in the past while hanging around his line mate.
"Glad you see things like I do!" He had been hoping that once Air looked around he wouldn't make his way to the bar, as he'd rather the robot enjoy more than just the usual setting. "Oh-oh! So it's we now? I knew you cared." He nudged Air in the side as he caught up with him, following him away from the crowd and towards a quieter section on the boat.
"You did bring swimwear, right?" He added, it being hard to tell if he were truly serious at implying that Air was going swimming that night.
We're on a boat and...
Air tugged uncomfortably at the collar around his neck. He was satisfied with his clothing choice, but being trapped on a boat with annoying siblings, aliens, Lightbots and Russians sounded like a death sentence.
Don’t worry, he was smiling on the inside. Tonight was the night he’d be free of responsibilities. Their father had everything under control and he could just find some places to drown out the noise.
Well, he would have the night to himself if he wasn’t watching over his little brother. Quick couldn’t seem to stay in one place, as usual. “I’m pretty sure we already know the size of this thing," Air told him flatly before pulling a small flask from his breast pocket.
Security practically dismantled his line, but like hell he was going to let some scrawny little shits tell him he can’t bring outside food or drink on deck.
"Let’s see what they have to do around here before making fools of ourselves."
If Quick noticed Air's discomfort then it made no effort to acknowledge it. Why would he? He knew that Air held disdain for crowds and pointing that out wasn't going to change or make it any better. Instead, he kept his motives to himself, and when Air pointed out that they knew the size of the ship he rolled his eyes. Yes. He knew the size of the ship, but that wasn't the point!
"Yup! That doesn't tell us where the best seats are--" His hand moved, deft fingers snatching the flask from Air when he was done swigging from it to bring it to his nose to smell what treat it was he brought. "-- and I don't mean the bar!" He was grinning now, his body turned towards Air as he held the flask up, identifying its contents easily as he drank with Air often.
"Don't worry, you're in good hands, brother!" He laughed, intending on letting him be a 'fool' as much as he wanted so long as he had fun. "But I'm gonna take this as a down payment for having to watch over you tonight. Thanks~." He was clearly teasing, already stealing a sip of his own. Besides, he was sure Air was wearing that jacket as a means to store plenty of flasks of his own. Just in case the bar didn't cater to his expensive tastes.

Maybe they arrived a little late because Quick really didn't want to tuck his shirt in and every time his tie was fussed with it just ended up becoming undone again anyway (by his own merits). Or maybe it was because Air looked like he had been sentenced to become reprogrammed to be an air conditioning unit for a human in those clothes. The sheer amount of discomfort was enough to make Quick laugh until he hunched over-- until he was made to tuck his shirt in. Even now he tugged restlessly at it, a brief frown working at his features before he decided against yanking it out again.
"Looks like everyone's settled in!" He whistled out, upper body leaning forward while he rose to the balls of his feet to curiously take the crowd in. A part of him hoped to see Ring and Copy among the crowds, but from where he was standing he had yet to pick them up with scans.
The need to explore the entire ship before getting comfortable roused within him, and he tried to keep it to himself-- mostly. He wasn't going to stray too far from Air just yet. After all, they had just arrived.
"I wonder how big this place is. Wanna look around? Dance?" With his eyes bright and his grin wide he peered back over his shoulder at Air. There was a sense of adventure in his expression; the need to get into everything.
Quick Man helmetless for Aya
Copy grins and turns away from Quick, flinging the boomerang far off behind himself, waiting for it to return, then ducks under it, letting it pass him and fly towards Quick. “Think fast!"
Upon inspection, Copy’s boomerang is functionally exactly like Quick’s, but asthetically, just like Copy’s duplicated body design, there were some subtle errors to it. It seemed kind of bent at the edges, like on Copy’s Quick-armor, and its color was slightly off.
"Bright’s the one where Dr. Cossack thought inventing a lightbulb robot was as impressive as inventing the lightbulb itself! He looks kind of geeky, I’d rather disguise as somebody else. Maybe if I stand on my toes I can pull off a convincing Drill Man! Oh— or SKULL! He’s so cool, I hate that he’s not with us!"
As if inheriting short patience from Quick’s design-scan, Copy spawns another two boomerangs and starts throwing them both, catching them in alternations in sort of a long-distance horizontal juggle. Taking on someone elses’ qualities even gave Copy a perversion of their personality traits, just as when resembling Mega Man, he focuses on a distorted focus of what’s right and wrong.
"How long? Oh! I’ve never done it so long that I got tired, but I guess it’s possible I could run out of weapon energy over time! That’s like, this universal ammunition thing my body processes to duplicate weapons, it doesn’t feed directly off my core so it’s got limits… I just haven’t reached them yet!"
"And the eyes? Uh… Dunno! They don’t flip inside-out with everything else, but I guess some of the Light robots did notice my eyes were different when I tried this on them… Maybe my best bet is rocking somebody else’s look, someone with red eyes! Like… Toad, or Dust!" Something occurs to Copy suddenly, and he makes a disappointed scowl, catching both boomerangs and frustratedly chucking them down at the wall surface, letting their points stick into it while he folds his arms. “Problem though, I can’t rock somebody unless I can scan them first! Whoever I scan to fool Ring, they’ve gotta be around for it!"
Quick wasn't expecting it, but if he couldn't react quickly then he wouldn't be Quick Man! At first he thought Copy wasn't going to let him have it at all, but as soon as he ducked his hand snapped out, catching the device easily as he kicked up to his feet and spun it round and round along his index finger. It was a little wobbly though, could use some balancing and... he tossed it up, called it back to him and whistled when it actually responded to a signal call Hey! He could control it, but could Copy do the same for his? Curiously he threw the corrupt one into the air and quickly shot off one of his own behind it in the blink of an eye.
"Wanna race me, then?" He couldn't contain his grin. Nitro was never around to test himself against and anyone else just didn't quite cut it to him! Getting a shot at Copy-Quick, or Mini Me (he was so calling him that from now on), was too tempting, even when they were on a serious topic. Hey, they could still race and talk at the same time-- if Copy could keep up. He hoped so.
"Whoa! No need to get all sour! Did you forget that there's a party this weekend? I'm sure they'll be there! But ohhhhh... even better!" He snapped his fingers, looking quite pleased with himself now. "If YOU can scan Ring, then maybe we can ruin the guys name before taking him out. He ruined Crash's peaceful life, so why don't we flip things up for him? I'll make sure he comes!" To him, it was only fair. Crash hadn't deserved that. He deserved the best; all his brother's did!
"Just as fast as you! I analyze and transform to whatever stat allocations as my source! To be fair, I did only ever use my power just before you were built— back when I had to fight Light’s robots for the first time, so it makes sense that you never found out. I usually like to be my bona fide blue self because that’s my factual, original signature! … Or well, it was before other-Rock showed up."
For fun, Copy dispenses a quick-boomerang and starts idly tossing it out into the open sky above the fortress, letting it return to him and repeating. “You could still disguise yourself too! But I was thinking I’d pick some bot Ring might be comfortable around, like one of the other Russians! Maybe Bright, he’s closer to my height… Not that I can’t make myself taller of I got to, but it’s a stress stretching things out longer! Like that one machine with the ropes and cranks humans use to torture each other! Haha, gross!"
No way. No.way. He wondered if this were true, excitement building in his posture as he sat upright. Someone that could keep up with him? Now that was both a good and a bad thing. He felt a spike of that competitive nature welling up inside him. When was the last time he had raced against anything that was worth it?
"How long you think you can keep it up?" He had to remind himself that while Copy could, well, copy abilities and shift appearances, he wondered how taxing using them would be on his systems at the same time. The last thing he wanted was something fun to turn into a disaster. The little guy was starting to grow on him, after all!
"Uhhh-- who is Bright again?" Had he said the 'Light bulb' he would have understood, that or he was teasing Copy. "Anyway, can you change the color of your optics?" He was all about asking questions, completely taken by this ability as he opened his hands as if to say 'Pass!'. He wanted to see how real that boomerang could be!
Copy’s eyes lighten up again and his genuine smile returns at talks of disguise. He LOVED that kind of stuff!… But he couldn’t help but feel as though Quick was forgetting something about Copy’s unique skills set. “Well, Nitro is a super-cool movie star and a snappy dresser, but that won’t be necessary! Don’t you remember why I’m named Rock Man?"
Copy stepped back from Quick and spread his arms out to his sides, and a pale blue light shines through the seems of his body. His eyes scan Quick Man up and down, and then suddenly the segments of Copy’s body open up and disperse, flipping and inverting, then fall back into place. Copy effectively flipped himself inside-out, and on the reversible side, had generated a duplication of Quick’s appearance.. and more.
"Because I can Rock any style!" Even Copy’s voice sounded modified to resemble Quick’s.
"If we’re doing disguise and undercover, why don’t I just do this with somebody Ring will never suspect?
Quick actually didn't. In fact, he had never really paid attention to most of the bots outside of his line until recently, so if he did know anything it sure didn't show, and he liked to keep it that way. When Copy changed to replicate him, he only let out a loud laugh, folding in backwards as his hand pressed to his face at seeing a small version of himself.
"I have a mini little me right infront of me!!" He sounded thrilled by the prospect of having Copy looking like that from now on... especially..."How fast can you go!?" He sat up, the question being far more important than Ring at the moment.
"Anyway, I thought we were both going to take a swing at him, but humor me! Who would you go in disguise as?" He had to see this. A tiny version of whoever could form right before his eyes.
Copy smiled at Quick, standing up and half-waving back. “Hey! So, what do you got for me?" He walked up close to the edge beside Quick. As treacherous of a fall as it was, Copy had no fear of it as he peered down the distance, scarf flapping and slapping around in the air as the breeze blew through it. "… I think it could use some disappearing tiles. Dunno why, I just think that would complete this stretch of wall!"
Cerulean optics lit up with sure excitement when Copy mentioned disappearing tiles. His grin broadened and he looked as if he were expecting it at any time to happen.
"Imagine that thrill! Where the ground beneath your feet could just vanish— we’re doing it." He didn’t know how, but they were going to make this dream a reality… but first he needed to focus on why he was there to begin with.
Thankfully, a look at Copy brought him back to the situation at hand and made him straighten, his grin as friendly as it was excited. “I hope you like the color red, because I got you some things!" As much as it seemed like Quick didn’t pay attention to the world around him, he actually did. He noticed Copy attached himself to the scarf— the one thing the other Mega didn’t have, and so he had thought to go through some items in his garage.
"You like hats, coats, and t-shirts right?" He asked, crouching a little so he could be more eye level with Copy.
Copy nodded enthusiastically as Quick talked about having gotten him something, but his bright expression falters when Quick begins asking about clothes. Copy wore his spandex battle-suit 24/7, clothes weren’t nearly as cool as looking like a super hero, and he immediately wanted to object and say to Quick that those things are lame.
Before now, Copy’s straightforward programming would have told him to go ahead and do it, with that programming gone Copy’s mind takes an opposite route, one which was perhaps a remnant of the real Rock’s personality. Compassion. Copy considered Quick’s feelings instead of his own for the first time, and glanced aside as he formulated a lie. “Uh.. Maybe!"
Quick noticed it right away, and even laughed when Copy tried to be nice about it, reaching out to ruffle his hair. It was nice of him to consider it, and made Quick even wonder what made him do that. At least he didn't spoil the surprise yet, wanting to catch the poor bot off guard. Clothes would do the trick, as such as he was standing there. Euw.
"Don't worry! It's for the operation. When we go in under cover to get Ring! I have a coat from Nitro himself, a Battle and Chase hat from the race AGES ago and one of those popular shirts with the cat on it. if we're going to get Ring, might as well go do it with style?" He plopped down now, crossing his legs as he leaned forward, waiting to see how he reacted.
Surprises? Sure! I’m on one of the outer walls, the breeze is crazy up here!
Location and permission. That was all Quick needed before he dashed out of his garage to meet up with the troubled ‘hero’. He had thought long and hard about his resolve to keep Copy in better spirits and when it hit him all it took was some doing, some theft, and contacting him.
"You weren’t kidding!" He whistled against the wind, suddenly right beside the other before he wandered closer to the edge and looked down. Man! That was a long drop, but to say the least it looked terribly fun!
"I bet I could run up and down these walls without a problem…" He grinned over at the ‘Blue Bomber’ and finally lifted his hand to give a half wave. “Yo."
Copy smiled at Quick, standing up and half-waving back. “Hey! So, what do you got for me?" He walked up close to the edge beside Quick. Air squints his eyes nearly shut. “Mmmmm hmm…" He nods slowly, peering down at the twelve pack. Always serious, it was hard to tell sometimes if he took jokes.
"I lock the door to keep manchildren like Search Man away from my mini fridge. Those little shits will mess up any room in their path, including mine." He extends an arm to emphasize the cleanliness and order of the place. “I’ve spent far too much time organizing and reorganizing my things. That was time I could have spent manning the fortress."
Or drinking.
There it was. That look! Quick never knew how he took his jokes, but seeing as Air just 'rolled' (or in this case refused to bulge) with the punches, he kept at it. One day, he would get his brother to react and laugh. Loosen up and not--
"Look, you both look sour right now." He teased, nudging into Air's side before he, more or less, made himself at home. Plopping down on Air's nice clean bed he folded his hands behind his head, and made an attempt to listen. Mind you, an attempt. He lost him at manchildren, laughter sounding up at that.
"You do enough as it is, Air." He waved his hand through the air, unable to keep from being animated. It was kind of his thing. It was hard to tell if he was referring to his 'manning' of the fort, or his drinking, though knowing Quick he honestly meant it when it came to his brothers. "Sorry to ask. So. Let's dr--" Oh. Right. He left the good stuff outside to play his little joke.
Suddenly in the doorway again, he leaned out past Air and started to gather the lot of it all.
"Somehow I don't think your mini fridge is going to be enough for all this. What else do you have in it right now?" Had Quick known any better, that mini fridge was like a safe to Air; a place to keep all his treasure chilled.
