#imagine being thrown into an orphanage once you found out that your entire family died in a car crash. #imagine thinking that there’s no one else to take care of you, to love you, to tell you that everything’s going to be okay. #imagine living like that for the majority of your childhood and teenage years, moving on by yourself, becoming so numb you’re not sure you’re able to feel anything at all. #imagine finding out that your family might still be alive after YEARS of believing otherwise. #imagine deciding to go and find them, because they are your family, in hopes of reuniting and finding what once was lost. #imagine getting a chance to spend a day or two with people you once thought were dead. #imagine being able to feel hope, JOY and love for those you believed were dead and now thinking you can have another chance. another chance for a better life. #imagine your mother rejecting you all over again, telling you that you do not belong in the family despite you coming back, seeking for love and trying your best. #imagine mourning your mother for the SECOND time, this time, REALLY mourning her, while regretting even coming home and being so foolish to think someone might love and accept you. #imagine going back to that mind state you once were… to that numbness and void you were so scared of before. #except this time… there is NO ONE to pick you up. no one to ease your pain, because now… you truly are alone.
