I spent the afternoon with a new friend.

It might sound childish but I had so much fun.

We went to a crystal store and got lunch and (some may say excessive) drinks at a bar. Then went (drunk) to another crystal shop.

And it may be stupid but God I love having a friend that I can just talk to. About life, about spirituality, about our boyfriends, and just be free. I don't have to worry about my conversations going anywhere (except maybe to her boyfriend which is fine). I know she isn't pretending. She isnt making me seem like a chore.

It's just fucking nice. An actually normal fucking friend to hangout with and chat with and just be myself around.

It's a breath of fresh fucking air. I am so happy.

December Full Moon

The full moon shows us beauty with no regrets, no shame, no insecurities. She embraces what has given her energy. She releases what has drained her. This allows us to see her in her full glory.

Selene, goddess of the moon, shows us what the moon can bring. Divine feminine and emotion, healing and purification.

It is with the guidance of this full moon and Selene that I reflect on these past two weeks. I embrace new friendships, new happiness, being true to myself, and my family. I release bitter friendships, the feeling of never being enough or being too much to handle, the fear of letting myself be vulnerable, and my negative self talk.

Religion and spirituality had always been a difficult path for me. I have always felt out of place, lost, and like I could never follow all of the "rules". It is with the moon that I've always felt a connection. It's time for me to embrace that connection. Embrace this feeling. I will never be perfect and I release that anxiety. I embrace being a work in progress and the process of always learning.

As we move into these next phases I will remind myself of these revelations and work to achieve that transformation that I deserve. 🌕
