“more ups, if you ask me. alas, i’ve accepted my fate, doomed to my useless traveller body for eternity.” she groaned, betraying her lie.

“cheers.” was her response, raising the bottle before pressing it to her lips and taking a long gulp. “god, i really miss blood sometimes.” she sighed, it was so much easier, only needing one thing to sustain yourself. “what i don’t miss is that ridiculously high vampire tolerance.”

“sunday night.” the words were followed by a content sigh, katherine leaning over to the closest person, flashing her signature smirk. “tonight it’s just me and my old pal, jose cuervo.”

Hope was just getting ready to turn off the lights for the night in the shop when she had heard the bell ring in the front. A small sigh escaped her lips, but she put down the herbs she had been counting and mixing before raising a brow, “Hello? Did you not see the closed sign?” She questioned, finally peering out of the corning.

“i saw it.” the traveller confirmed, taking a look around the quaint store. after a drawn out pause as she looked at the store’s various decorations, she finally turned to the tribrid. “and i chose to ignore it.”
