Wow, Sans didn’t know people could be this generous up here. Sure, he was kind of expecting an explanation of what Lien was, but the fact she was willing to give him anything from the menu in exchange for information was a deal that Sans could not pass up.
“That’s a deal I cannot and will not say no to. Uhh… Hmm. I’ll have what they’re having.” Sans replied as he pointed to a man at the bar having a mug of beer. Sans didn’t know what it was, yet it intrigued him. Perhaps it was like something he had at Grillby’s before, but there was no way of knowing that without trying it.
“Now, where to start?” Sans asked himself as he tapped his bony fingers on the table. There was a lot of things he could say, but quite a bit was quite sensitive information that couldn’t be shared lightly. Well, might as well disclose the boring stuff.
“Well, the place where I come from is called The Underground, to be specific, I come from the Town of Snowdin. As you could imagine by the name, it gets quite a bit of snow daily. Snowdin had the best Cinnamon Bunnies around and my favorite bar, Grillby’s was there too. Man, Grillby’s had the best potato chisps and shakes around. Is there any specific questions you had about The Underground?” Sans asked as he awaited his mug of strange liquid.
“As for my brother’s crazy puzzle antics? Well, to be blunt, he tries very hard. I remember he rigged a bridge with a flamethrower, a wrecking ball with spikes, a dog, and various other things.” Sans added on as he began to reminisce about all the fun times he had with his brother, building puzzles and then poking holes in their design.
“Alright,” she pulled out a notepad, “Same size, too?”
She looked almost entranced by his explanation, not stopping him even after ‘Cinnamon Bunnies,’ simply assuming them to be a dish of some kind.
“What’s a Cinnamon Bunny, exactly?” She inquired firstly, head tilting a little.
Then came the explanation of Papyrus, and his whole bout of shenanigans.
“Doesn’t that seem...” she trailed off, “A little...I dunno, excessive?” She fidgeted, “And why’d he do that to begin with?”
