Bloc Party - Waiting for The 7.18
maybe you can say i the only one to blame in this l1s2 situation since i myself put me into that situation...which is true but... it doesn't matter anymore
In the end, the whole situation was a mix of traumas and triggers that I already had inside of me and that i didn't know how to deal with, combined with the fact that I didn't know what I had, I didn't know why i felt thoses things, and that's why was so hurtful.
Before i used to thought that everybody was like me and that they liked the medias and the characters in the same way as i... but as grown and noticed more about fandoms and people enganging with them, i see that for people medias are only things to play with it, they don't care much about coherence or anything like that, cuz for them, them are not that deep or special, is just an entertainment, just something to spend time and then forget about it. And people seem to engage with medias more cuz of the sense of community that it gives than for the the media itself, like, they can enjoy, but not like that (not like me). That's why it didn't hurt or why they didn't care about all of that. And that's also why those people invent thoses things with Sean and Daniel, is just a fantasy, is not meant to make sense, this is just a way to get an audience that eventually can interact with things that they care more about it, like personal projects or wharever or maybe just for "fun"/pleasure…is all just for personal gain, normal people don't care that deeply for fictional characters...
It’s funny, because in the post that I wrote about buying "Lis2", I mentioned that we’d remember everything, including the bad parts. But when we actually play it, I confess I don't remember those things; when I see the game, thoses things dont come to my mind, i dont remember them. It’s actually kinda beautiful, in a way because... I spent way more years hating lis2 (due to all the trauma) than I did liking it(my good memories of lis2 only last till 2018-2019, the year that the game was still on, after that, things changed)… yet the memory of how much I enjoyed it is much more stronger than the memory of those traumatized years. I bet people will see this and think that it’s all so silly or immature; they probably think, "What do you mean by trauma? Getting traumatized by a piece of media/ by what people make invent about it, is so stupid."...maybe, but I don't care, I don't need people to understand,I… don't need that anymore. but I want to talk about it because I feel myself need to, because I want myself to be able to accept that those things do affected me/us in some way and that it used to hurt(still do sometimes, but i got better), all thoses years i never talk very sincere about how i felt about lis2 and why i felt the way that i felt. Well i want to talk right now. I confess I don't even know how to start, because it has so many things.
Well, I guess I have to start from the beginning. I hate to remember it, but my issue with lis2 is very tied to the Sean and Daniel pairing (which is a whole situation in itself). At the time i felt a bit thrown off by Episode 2 because the shift in Sean and Daniel's relationship felt shocking to me(is so stupid because playing it now, it has nothing!! they pretty ok, but for some reason at the time i felt weird out). And I also started questioning what I was getting myself into; I felt i was becoming attached to the game, but it was a "Life is Strange" title, I don't like Life is Strange series because i dont like the element of it: the drugs, sex, asshole teenagers and people, weird stuff etc. I dont like those type of medias and topics. Episode 2 was where I started to feel apprehensive about that and was wondering if i should distance myself from the game and that if was really safe to keep liking it. However, around that time, I came across the Sean/Daniel pairing and, for some reason, sigh, didn't think it was all that bad. I think, because their relationship had become somewhat strained in Episode 2, I feel I ended up becoming even more attached to the idea of them together, it felt like the only way to really explore the two of them and their dynamic in a more caring term.
And the things about their pairing back then were kinda "okay" and consistent with them and the game ("okay" with a grain of salt; cuz looking back, I can see it was already a bit... off... well, I was pretty naive back then). Their dynamic was soft and "cute", i used to find...cute/funny and fitting with them (ugh, I hate remembering that I liked that pairing, I was so devoted to it, but like I said, I think I was so attached because I ended up associating the pairing with their relationship as a whole). Anyway, that’s sort of where it all began; there are other factors and stories from that, but... I don’t want to bring them up. I don’t want to give attention, so lets keep it here. This pairing were kinda of what kept me in the game a bit (not only! but it made me forget a bit about my thrown off with ep2 and keep it liking lis2)
Well, I continued to enjoy LiS2 normally. Then we have Episode 4, that was a bit of a trigger for me, because I found the religious themes terrifying, and I was somewhat shocked by the behavior of both Sean and Daniel (and also very frustrated that the conflict of Episode 3 wasn't resolved). I don't like to admit it, but Episode 4 really unsettled me, cuz it scared me. I had this thought at the time related to the ending/Daniel(and I'm so sorry, Daniel, it's such a mess up impression) but goes like that "if Daniel could kill Lisbeth, that took care of him after all, but as soon as she wronged him one time he already threatens to kill her... then he was capable of killing Sean, too". It was a pretty mess up thought 💦(i bet people will think that is such nonsense cuz Lisbeth was bad and Sean is Daniel's brother, he wouldn't do the same to him, i know, but the shift of liking lisbeth to suddenly wanting to kill her was so fast, that, i dont know, i thought that the same was applied to sean...). That thought got stuck with me for a while, but eventually I let it go; For now this doesn't seem to matter much right now but will be important for later. cuz, I think this it’s linked to the triggers that I would experienced later regarding LiS2 and the future dynamic between Sean and Daniel.
So then we have the final episode, and together we have the endings. This is where things change... well, where do I begin, because the endings are related to a lot of my traumas with Life is Strange 2. To begin, when the endings came out, especially the Blood Brother, everything changed. Suddenly everything revolved around the endings, which okay because it was the newest thing about the game at the time. But then everything about Sean and Daniel was only related to their versions of the endings, and unfortunately I didnt had absorbed that version of them that much (because they were quite different from our usual Sean and Daniel), but I didn't had disliked them! especially Daniel, I thought teenage Daniel seemed pretty cool, and he seemed very sweet! but I felt that i still needed more time to absorb everything... But the change was so fast; suddenly everything was about the endings, and the first trigger was the fact that a lot people used to get very horny with bb daniel...and i used to get trigger by that(daniel was my fav character(still is!) so i used to get anxious with people enjoying him that way) is funny cuz i had already noticed when watching the endings that Daniel was...hot, but i didnt want to admit cuz i was afraid of what that could lead to, well, for my unfortune the first thing that people had to say about the endings was that Daniel was hot...and he turn them on...(i hate admit it that nowadays i understand why people like daniel in that way…his vibe... is very attractive indeed)
The shift happened so fast; suddenly, everyone was talking only about the endings, all the idea were revolved around them. People hardly paid the attention to Episode 5 itself(when sean and daniel were still them from the journey) because the focus was entirely on the ending. People were going wild over the "Lone Wolf" number, wondering if Daniel had a girlfriend or if he was still a virgin, and coming up with all sorts of theories and ideas etc etc. And as I said, since I hadn't really absorb Sean and Daniel from the endings, I was easily swayed by other people's ideas, even the ones that I didn't like and that hurt me… I felt so lost.
Well, that’s what was happening in the more normie part of the fandom. Now, let’s move on to the side involving the Sean/Daniel pairing. the vibe was pretty much the same: everyone focusing on the endings, especially the "BB", people having crushes on Daniel. But… in the Sean/Daniel side of the fandom, there was a specific event, that is our biggest trauma, and I think that’s where everything regarding this pairing really started. I hope I can explain this without getting too much details. Back then, there was a Sean/Daniel story, of course, it was about Blood Brother. The tag had those typical dark fic topic, but it didnt specify much exactly who. You’d naturally assume it was about Sean acting weird toward Daniel (which is already not very nice, but it seemed the most plausible). But when I actually read the story, it turned out to be the other way around: it was teenage Daniel abusing adult Sean. That caught me completely off guard; that idea had never crossed my mind, I’d never imagined it happening in reverse. I was shocked and weirded out by it, I’d never pictured that. And the way people portrayed teenage Daniel was so weird; he was so disgusting and nasty. I remember hating that story… yet everyone else loved it. Everyone I knew who liked the pairing—even those who’d been enjoyed since Episode 2, loved it. I felt betrayed and, at the same time, bad with myself. Everyone who liked the pairing adored the story, but I was the only one who didn't. I felt like I was the one in the wrong and that I was an asshole for not liking it.
And I also felt a bit hypocrite too, since i got weird out by that, but i didnt used to get weird out when was sean the "nasty" one, like, " isn't weird with Sean too? and is not like liking Sean with daniel wasn’t already "nasty" either, so why are you complaining?" All those thoughts used to come to my mind, so, i felt like i didnt had the right to dislike that scenario... (ugh, glad I don’t like that pairing anymore; it freed me from so much suffering and anguish).
After that story, everything involving this pairing started to shift into that direction; even the people who used to create "coerent"/"ok" content of them in the past began portraying them that way too... I felt so betrayed and deeply guilty because I had engaged with their content—not heavily, but I used to give attention/praise. I felt like I had given them power, and now they were the ones defining the Sean/Daniel content now, i gave them power to ruin them, i felt so foolish. People were also really nasty toward anyone who didn't like this new version of the pair, and I felt super triggered because… well, I didn't like it! and I didn't understand why things had suddenly turn that way. It made me feel awful; I was really afraid of the people—for real, they were pretty nasty(almost bully like…which i feel it used to get on my oldest trauma...). Everyone loved it, and anyone who were against were humilated and hated. I used to get scared; I didn't want to be the only one, I was afraid of being the only one… but nowadays, I’m not afraid anymore, i dont have afraid to be the only one.
And pretty much keep it being like that—everything about them was like that, and it kept getting heavier and heavier (some stuff was really bizarre, almost on the level of those controversial or problematic movies). And it was always about Daniel being really weird. Well imagine how it was for me, being very attach to fiction things, to see my favorite character being… that (remember Episode 4? Well, the fact that I myself found Daniel kinda creepy + imagined a scenario where he was capable of doing something cruel to Sean made me feel like, somehow, all those scenarios were… possible, or that Daniel really could do… that). And worse than the ideas, were the people; some of them had a weird energy, kind of… malicious and jerk! Seriously, it was heavy.
And more and more people started to enjoy them in that way and more and more content of that started to exist(I’ll admit, sometimes i find bit weird how fast and popular sean and daniel pairing had become on that phase, like, was very fast, all of the sudden had a lot of people invested on them, everyone wanted to know about the game and was creating content about their pairing, being that the game was always right there, but before the endings nobody cared about Sean and Daniel, being that you could already invented things about them together already before. Sometimes, I think there was some outside influence; like, maybe someone promoted this pairing to influential accounts and this boost its popularity). And it was almost everyday, every single day, there was someone new liking them and making things about them, and every day there was something even more heavy explicit about this damn pairing.
And those things used to get stuck on my head; even the "normie" contents of them gave vibes that reminded me of those other content. I felt like Life is Strange 2 as a whole had turned into that, and I didn't understand. I didn't understand why, because I didn't remember Sean and Daniel being like that; they weren't like that to me, Are we talking about the same game? Even the normal content?!! Because of this, I was afraid to actually see/play the game; it used to triggered me the simple thought of it, cuz i was scared, i was afraid that somehow, those ideas might have sense, and do somehow combine with the game, and that watching lis2 could lead to me noticing and getting triggered to a point that i would feel the need to say goodbye to it forever…
People had no idea how much those things affected me; I couldn't even watch anything without getting triggered: movies, games, cartoons, songs, anything that reminded me of it would make me so anxious. I would get so stress that sometimes I’d end up crying; some days, I used to lock myself in the bathroom, because anything could send me into a state of distress where I felt like crying/getting super triggered cuz it remind me of those content. I was also so numb during those phases of 2020 and onwards; I felt like nothing made me happy and i was extremely depressed. I couldn't draw anymore, couldn't think about Life is Strange 2, and couldn't come up with any drawing ideas, like anything; the things that used to make me happy made me feel nothing, i felt nothing, I had no desire to do anything. I felt like I had lost everything; I lost Sean and Daniel, I lost my creativity and I lost myself; I felt nothing but sadness and hatred toward everything. i hated those content and the people so much, they ruined everything
And felt it was all so unfair, was so unfair! they're ruined lis2, they ruined lis2 for me, they ruined them, especially Daniel character, they ruined him💧they ruined my head, and they didn't even cared about sean and daniel or lis2, for them it was all just another media to play with and invent their fantasy into it, but their content was so highly and praised regardless, even by the normie, everyone was so ok, nobody disliked these ideas or version of them, those people shaped what lis2 were/the fandom and still do, till these days, people still remember them, still liking their things, still looking out for them, they are the one that molded lis2 fandom, those people are the ones that people remember when they think of lis2 or Sean and Daniel…they are the ones…not me, i used to get very sad with that, but nowadays i learn to accept…but i used to get very sad cuz i always wanted and thought that i would become the artist that i always wanted with lis2, i had so many ideas, but they never had the chance to see the light, because i couldn't think about lis2 anymore and i had lost my drive to draw(i just wasn't the same anymore) and even if i didn't had lost my creativity, now i accept that it wouldn't work out cuz i not what people are looking for for lis2, i just not…and also kinda glad, at that phase i wanted to do ideas related to sean/daniel pairing too, bleh, no way, sometimes i fell the world knows what its best for us...it wasnt meant to be, it wouldn't make me feel better afterward, but still sad... i feel sad that it wasn't meant to be lis2…
In a way, I wanted to "save" Lis2 and do something for Sean and Daniel, especially for Daniel. His character had been completely twisted; people portrayed him so nasty, being that to me, he was so sweet, funny, cute, fiercy... and kind. Unfortunately, I couldn't even remember the real Daniel anymore—whenever I looked at him, I only saw that distorted version of him(especially when was him from Blood Brother, i couldn't even look). I found what happened to Sean and Daniel/ Life is Strange 2 was so sad and unfair! Sean and Daniel deserved better... but sadly, I couldn't "save" them… Sometimes I still feel sad about it; I feel like i fail them… (so silly but why do i feel like crying?)
After those years, my stress began to turn into bitterness and deep hatred toward the game—especially the endings. In a way, i used to blame the endings for how the things turned out; it felt like the endings killed the Sean and Daniel that I knew, and placed them with this version of them. I felt that if the endings didn't existed, this version of Sean and Daniel wouldn't exist too (or at least wouldn't be as strong) and those people wouldn't have got interested in the game. Which is kinda true, I think if the endings wasn't in the way that them were, especially the "BB", i think that none of this would happend, those ideias wouldnt exist and those people wouldnt got into the game. I hated the endings so much, especially Daniel from the endings (especially blood brother Daniel, and a bit of Lone Wolf), but beneath all that anger, I think there was only sadness....
I used to hate Life is Strange 2 and i felt that liking was a mistake; I wasnt a fan of Life is Strange series, and the people that used to like Sean/Daniel at that time werent very welcoming with those who disliked this new version them or had any issues with it, like, you were the one wrong, and should get used to it or get lost. Those things used to make me feel like i really didn't belong; it felt like was wrong for me to like LiS2, like it wasnt for me indeed, it was a mistake. But playing the game now, after all those years, I didn't fell that way.... I feel I fell in love with Sean and Daniel in the same way that i felt when i saw the game for the first time, i like they a lot, i like lis2 a lot. And i dont feel it was a mistake, never was…even after all thoses years, after everything, i get found of they in the same way, just like the first time, and now i see that i do enjoy lis2, and that i actually like it! and i can see why i like it, i really enjoy sean and daniel(in a funny way i feel that i am a bit similar to both) and i also enjoy a lot of elements of lis2!…it wasn't a mistake, and now i know, now i finally embraced lis2 and see that i do enjoy the game! (Even not liking "life is strange", I really like the second!)
...And i dont regret, even with those situations, trauma… even with my relationship with them/the game ending up very badly…i dont regret anything, i really enjoyed getting to know sean and daniel, and they made me very happy during 2018-2019, i had plenty of fun enjoying the game, it will always feel special, sean and daniel will always be special to me, because they are and still am
In a way, I feel that playing LiS2 is a way of ending this whole story, to let it be exactly as it was meant to be. No "Sean x Daniel" shipping, no others people ideas consuming my mind, none of that; just they, as they are, exactly how i know and liked them. It’s even funny to think that I was so afraid to play the game back then; little did I know I’d end up loving it a lot. But I think a lot of things had to happen to get to this point. I feel like if I hadn't gone through my own journey: getting to know Sifu/Her, playing Sonic Unleashed again, finally discovering what i am and who i am, this wouldn't been as enjoyable as it was. I don't think I could have reached this state without all of that. Now, I feel I’m finally at peace with LiS2. I finally found Sean and Daniel again
I finally found them again, and now those things about them don't consume me. It’s a bit sad cuz now that I’ve found peace with lis2, they aren't my main focus anymore. Just like with "Unleashed" sometimes i wish i could stay on it forever... I wish i could stay forever on lis2, I wish it were still they, but other duties are calling me. Things are different now, and my life is different too, but one thing that hasn't changed is how much I love these two. Gosh, I miss those two so much. Sometimes I wish it were still they, but I have other priorities now, and is not lis2💧... Haha, I talk as if I’ll never speak about or do something of Lis2 ever again, but its sad that they're not my focus and it wasnt meant to be... but who knows? Maybe in a few years I’ll make some cool arts of them, haha... who knows? But one thing for sure is that Sean and Daniel are very special to me. Even though I don't focus on Lis2 as much anymore, I always remember; and they’re always with me, and I love they so so much... And i promise that one day i will make something for them
(its a bit sad that i still didn't get much of my creativity back, i thought that play lis2 would help on that(but who knows, sometimes, the effects work a bit later) but its ok, i found something way special, i found sean and daniel again and that's already enough. I will figure out something for that oneday)
Ep 5 thoughts (Ana playing and me being the guide book)
Episode 5 is one ep that I unfortunately don't know much about it, as I haven't rewatched it as often as the others; At the time I was still processing the endings and... everything. Ana and I promised each other that as soon as the final episode dropped, the first thing we would do was watch the endings right away (Life is Strange is known for its devastating ending, so I didn't want to risk my heart) and I don't regret it one bit, it was the best decision of my life. If I was already shocked by the endings on their own, imagine the impact of seeing them with the full episode. No! Ana and I watched the endings first, and then decided to watch the actual episode a few days later. Unfortunately, cuz of that, I didn't get the full experience with Episode 5 back then because I didn't watch the whole thing at launch, and later on, things started to change... so I ended up stepping away from the game... It’s going to be a totally new experience now! because we’ll be playing Episode 5 in the way that's meant to be: the episode first, the endings later. At the time, I didn't like the episode much because I thought it was a bit of a "fanservice" episode (and maybe it is, at some extent), but playing it now, I think it’s the ep I’ve enjoyed the most.
Ana and I started to get worried during this episode; Daniel was saying a lot of things that suggested he was the "high morality" Daniel. To make sure, I unfortunately had to use a guide a bit. We needed to down Daniel's morality right now. I still don't know how that happend; Sean did a lot of wrong things, and Daniel did some too, but he still end up with a high morality. Why? Just because we didn't let him swear!? What the hell, game!? Daniel is a kid; I'm not going to let him swear like a sailor. Sean can, but Daniel can't. (Haha, my priorities: Daniel killing people and committing atrocities is fine, but swearing? Oh no, that's a no-go 🤣)
Sean and Daniel there howling, and I just wanting them to shut up. I’m playing at night/late night! I still don't love this whole wolf thing of theirs, though I think it bothers me less than before. I liked that we didn't do much of that in our playthrough, so the wolf aspect didn't really stand out much.
If Daniel didn't have his powers, Sean and Daniel would be totally screwed, they'd be stuck in that place forever. Haha🤣, it's funny and kind of scary! I have no idea how they'd get out of that.
Sean complaining that Karen put sauce on her pancake saying that is gross, like, is not gross him eating the whole pancake with his bare hands?🤣
Everyone in Episode 5 is so cool; I love everyone, Joan and the couple are such sweethearts. I really like Joan, and her friendship with Sean and Daniel, and especially with Daniel, is so cute and funny.
Sean feeling like he's not an artist, dumbass only have one eye and draw better than i ever could, what are you talking? but yeah Sean, i feel you💧... but you are an artist! And Joan gonna prove to you(funny some times i forget that Sean also draw...and i also too! Funny i don't make much the association that Sean and i both share same talent maybe cuz i feel he's a whole new level compare to me but, well, i getting there)
Back when I saw ep5 by first time, I got the impression that Esteban and Karen had a sort of "divorced parents" vibe, because sometimes I felt that Karen didn't seem to like talking about her and Esteban (and same vice versa). But actually playing it, I didn't get that feeling at all; actually, Karen speaks about Esteban as if he really were her husband. sometimes i wonder how they were as a couple, since they’re so different; I think they make a beautiful couple, and it’s sad what happened(both situations).
I like Karen with Esteban, but I also think that have something going on with Joan (Daniel wanted a mom so badly, that now he’s going to have two, haha; Joan would be a super cool stepmom, better than the own mother). Both are nice pairings. Esteban from past, Joan from present. People thinking that Karen have something with David, no way! Joan is the real deal.
Hmm, it seems that Daniel's treasure is one of the earrings from their mother's friend on the photo (Maggie? I think that's her name) what a subtle and interesting detail.
Sean and Daniel are very related to sun (this episode has a lot of things about sun); it's interesting, there's the moon because of the... Wolf aspect -_-, but also the Sun... interesting, reminds me of "Sonic Unleashed"(me and my randoms associations haha)
People think Daniel's dance is a Fortnite dance/ref, no way! Fortnite was released in 2017, and by 2017, Sean and Daniel were already going thru all that shit; there's no way Daniel could know about Fortnite by that moment, so no. I want Daniel to be a Fortnite hater! because he prefers Minecraft. All the other kids are into Fortnite now while Daniel would still be into Minecraft; he's already a bit of a contrarian for liking Minecraft in 2016 (since it was more popular in 2013/2014) Daniel isn't really the type to just follow trends, like people make he seem. I imagine that Daniel one day Will eventually grow out of Minecraft; I can picture him as a teenager in BB getting annoyed and embarrassed (in the cute, funny Daniel way) whenever Sean brings up his interest in it when hes was kid, haha🤣 would be hilarious🤣. but I still prefer Daniel on the Minecraft over Fortnite.
Sean and Daniel making me turn into a hippie, because out of all the places from the game, I feel that Episode 5/"Away", is the one I like the most and would really like to be in it (I think a place like Away would serve me well)
Poor Sean. In the lantern scene, Sean is very distant, probably due his complicated relationship with Karen. I notice that one of the lanterns doesn't keep up with the other two,hmn I wonder whose it might be? I think the game lets open to interpretations: it could be Karen's, with the other two representing the sons leaving (both leaving Away or they heading to Mexico while the mother stays in the US), or it could be Sean's, since he can end up arrested, with the other two lanterns representing Daniel and Karen. In that scenario, Sean spends half his life in prison while Daniel and Karen live on… without him. It could also be the 'PW' ending, but I think it relates more to Sean being imprisoned than just being physically distant(but It works too).
Sean getting so excited about Daniel breaking the border that he almost forgets to help the kid🤣 poor Daniel🤣.
Sean: Daniel! you ok?
Daniel: Almost (slightly annoyed)
Daniel's "almost", always makes me crack.
I like that we made Sean kinda tough; On the vigilantes scene, we didn't made sean answer her questions, he kept his mouth shut, he not gonna answer assholes. Sean turn out very tough on our gameplay.
Yeah!!! Daniel turned into "low-morality Daniel"! ngl, I get so hyped when Daniel comes to the rescue at the police station and use his power. His power is so strong now
We definitely made Daniel got revenge on those bigots; they definitly deserved a lesson, and it was so delicious~. Sean and Daniel in full revenge mode. We didn't help the couple, sorry, can't risk getting R or PW, and i know they get scared when Daniel uses his power against those idiots. If they can't handle him in his "little monster" side, they don't deserve him in his hero side.
I didn't like that on the end, on the worldwide chooses; I thought it has a fair number of people that freed those assholes, what the hell!? If you want R or PW, you can just free the couple instead, hmpf, I find that weird. I hope it's just out of curiosity...it better be.
The moment has arrived...this is it. Poor Sean, he’s just so tired. He resting his head on the steering wheel; he’s so tired of all that. For the first time, Sean talks to Daniel about the day their father died. Sean words, He telling Daniel to keep being brave, just as he always was. Daniel looking at Sean, sometimes even a bit angry, though not because he’s actually mad at him, but rather cuz he's thinking, "Sean, Why are you saying all that? Why are you talking as if we’re going to get separated? don’t like that. Lets get out of here!" Yet, at other times, he looks so caring, as if he knows just how much Sean has done for him, how much hes being thru too, he knows. And then comes the final decision: Daniel asking how the story ends.
And then the music of the Power starts growing more and more louder, and the look in Sean's eyes, it's almost as if he understands everything in that moment. For me, this moment feels like a moment of realization, Sean realizing the reason of the power, the reason for everything, Daniel is the answer, he always was, he’s the one who’s gonna make they go to Mexico. It feels like the music itself is urging, telling him, "Sean, the moment is now, you just need to make the call." We choose to cross the border right away.
My heart was beating a lot, I already knew that we would get bb, but I still felt so nervous, the whole moment I was there holding my hands, and being like "GO Daniel, you can do It! Break this whole place", daniel is so brave.omg it was so cool and intense, this scene is so good.
This moment is so cool and creepy, too!(But I like It) I can totally imagine the police shock when Daniel starts using his power; as they puzzle all together on their heads, everything starts to make sense: the explosions, the officer's death, the incidents, Sean running away. Now they know how all that happened: it was Daniel all along, it was always Daniel.
Wow, Daniel's final growl is so badass. i can't, i speechless, so cool!
Some people get comflicted with BB cuz of that scene, because they think Sean and Daniel kill everyone on there, but I can clearly see that the police officers were still breathing, I don't think they actually died (and let's be honest, they kinda ask for it, if so; Daniel was actually pretty passive with his powers at first, but then the cops started shooting at him. very mess up) but they're definitely not dead, just badly injured.
The ending goes by so fast that it's a bit hard to analyze, but I definitely got a different impression of it compared to before.
When i think, its a bit rushed to assume that Sean takes the gun because he wants to use it; like, implying that the gang members may return and he might use the gun or simply suggesting that he and Daniel live in a state of constant danger where keeping a gun feels necessary or that they're gangsters and so on. However, looking at the scene in the context with the whole game, i didn't got any of those impressions, I felt more that Sean kept the gun because it's better with them than with the gang members, the gang will use the gun to kill and threaten people, Sean and Daniel won't. So Sean keeps the gun, but not with the intention to use it, but because its safer with them. They will not use
I admit I cried at the end. Its even quite beautiful, considering the whole situation/trauma that i had with it, but I really cried. It was a cry of sadness because it was the end, but mostly of proud, proud of Sean and Daniel, cuz they made it, they made it to Mexico. The ending feels more hopeful to me now; Sean and Daniel remembering of everything they went through and suffered along the way to get in there, but they successed, they made it to there.
Playing this game evoked a completely different feeling, (was totally different), almost a strange one, but i love it; I was crying, but it didnt had any specific memory on my mind that triggered the tears. It was a mix of sadness and happiness, I was crying, but I also felt an urge to smile too. I loved playing this game, and it will certainly be a very special memory for me/us. I will forever remember in my heart❤️🐺🚀.
Ep 4 thoughts (i was the one playing)
I don't have much to say about Episode 4; for real, I didn't really feel much/had much thoughts during that ep. That’s a bit ironic, considering that this episode triggered me so much back then. I was really frustrated and scared by it; a lot of ep3 conflicts weren't really resolved, sean and daniel behavior shocked me and i used to find the religious aspect very mess up (religious themes used to freak out sometimes). I was terrified with Lisbeth referring to Daniel as an angel and moments later with him trying to kill her(but he didn't even needed to try, cuz the first play that we watched was with a high morality daniel, but i still got scared anyway). Sean and Daniel really terrified me on this ep; I admit that nowadays I feel a bit bad, even ashamed for viewing them in such a bad light, considering that I actually like them (especially Daniel). But unfortunately, I had those triggers back then. Looking back, it seems like I didn't really enjoy any of the game's episodes after; none of my memories of them are positive… Maybe that’s true, I think I was pretty demanding back then, and the game also started heading in a different direction that i had in mind, but for some reason, I never quit it and stayed with Sean and Daniel till the very end (but that's not true! i have some good memories related to the eps, the thing is that dont have much to write/talk about it).
Hmm, so Lisbeth has a backstory, something happened to her as a child that made her believe she was the chosen one and someone with a divine connection. Interesting; so there’s something tied to her childhood. Unfortunately, I’m not feeling very creative right now, so I can’t come up with any ideas about that, and I’m not sure if the game actually explains more about that story, I don't think so.
I must be the only person on this game fandom who genuinely likes Lisbeth, come on, the queen is iconic and she's interesting
Till this day i don't get it this explanation of ep3, like; daniel runs away, but jacob finds him, Daniel was "scared" and all (you didnt look that scared at all on the scene, Daniel, but fine, maybe you freaked out a bit later) and with that, jacob for some reason decided to take Daniel away, like, why he didnt try to find Sean first? the ep tries to explains that with Jacob saying that the police appeared and that maybe Sean was already gone, but in the end of ep3 we can clearly see that sean and the others stayed there till morning, when exactly Jacob found Daniel? i bet it was on the night, so??? this too, who called the police? i think could be this Big Joel but sometimes he's also the one there too, so who would be? and daniel reason for being take it by Jacob? in some endings Daniel don't take the bullet, so why he took him to Nevada? like, this whole story is so cunfusing, i don't get it. Maybe i am dumb, but i really dont understand
I hate how the episode never mentions the fact that Daniel also get injured cuz of ep3 too, the ep says so little about it that even i forget that daniel can get shot. Like, Sean doesn't say a word about it! as if a kid getting shot were a totally normal thing. Ugh, that still bugs me a bit, but I’ve learned to let it go.
Aside from the creepy and lunatic religious connotation, the association of Daniel with an angel is quite beautiful; I think I even like more Daniel being associated with an angel than a wolf.
Sometimes I wonder, how exactly the people of the church got to know about Daniel's power? (i mean Daniel is not very good at keeping secrets😅) but there was no reason for him to talk or show it, i mean, any reason that isn't related to Jacob. Unless, Jacob explained his reason for returning and told the others about witness a miracle and then start to talk about Daniel's power...Sorry, Jacob, but I gonna make Sean want to start a fight with you, because if I were him, I’d be furious; my little brother is in a fucking cult now, all because of your big mouth.
Karen, Karen, that woman makes me conflicted. Cuz i understand her, I can understand the unhappiness and desperation of having your life taken by a role that you weren't meant to be, this mother lifestyle is very draining for some women, you really need to want it because it pretty much sucks! so i can understand her, she wasn't meant to be a mother or a wife, but it was too late when she realizes it. But at the same time, I get angry with her. I don't understand why she ghosted her husband and children; she could still had that life and still be present a bit at least, she still could be part of their lifes because she does seem to love them, so why she dumped them? Just like Sean says "not even a fucking birthday card". What she did was cruel, especially with Sean. I think Karen was a coward; she choose to abandon her family because staying in touch with them made her feel guilty, cuz it made her see what she was doing to them, and that guilt, mixed with longing, used to almost make her want to return. Yet, at the same time, she didn't want to give up on her new life and come back to that again. So, she decided to cut off contact with everyone, hoping that they would simply move on and forget her (putting that way, just like Sean says, Karen really does seem like a child running away from everything). And she never tried to contact them again all thoses years because she was afraid of their reactions, afraid of the consequences, afraid to face her children (especially Sean), her husband, and her parents.
I didn't made Sean stay with Karen while she smokes outside; (I don't want sean talking about Lyla😒) and also to make Karen see the shit that she done, not gonna make Sean be too easy on her, he needs to show a bit of grudge.
Our Daniel didn't try to kill Lisbeth!? i mean happy that the queen lived! but also a bit scared cuz this Daniel is doing too much R/PW Daniel outcomes!!
It still feels really strange that I didn't really feel anything during this episode, like, even the ending didn't shock me, being that in the past, that ending used to really terrified me. It was a bit odd; I mean, it's a good thing! I guess it shows that I don't get triggered as easily these days, or maybe I just don't get that upset with Episode 4 anymore, but I have to admit it was a bit of a weird experience, since I genuinely didn't feel much of anything. But It wasn't bad...just different
Ep 3 thoughts (Ana was the one playing)
Episode 3 is where things starts to get more intense, muahaha😈. And Ana and I will make sure that this chapter will be the worst of Sean and Daniel's lifes.
Episode 3 was the episode that made me like Daniel even more (more than I already did) because I liked that here Daniel showed that he wasn't just a kid character, and for me, this was the episode where Daniel starts to have more personality. Unfortunately, Daniel suffered a lot of hate during that phase (I confess that sometimes I find all this hate towards Daniel a bit exaggerated and strange, since there are plenty of child characters who are almost unbearable, even more than him, but they don't receive that same hate, sometimes it seems to have a bit of sexism on it, it seems because Daniel is a little boy... but I don't want to get into that here). And of course, I was furious! and I was also furious with Sean!
I confess that the phase of episode 3 wasn't that nice. I mean, episode 3 was the ep where I started to get invested with lis2 and started drawing and focusing more on it, but it wasn't very nice to see people saying so many mean and... sometimes even nasty things toward Daniel. I think that's why I was so aggressive in my opinions when it came to episode 3; I think my level of anger/rage was the level of hatred people used to spoke toward Daniel character.
We’re going to do Cassidy’s route. so hypocrite, right? i used to complain so much about sean hooking up with her, yet here we are doing her route. I’m not doing it because I think it’s "right" to be with her instead of the plan (to be honest, looking at it as an adult, both choices are kind of bad), but because doing the plan doesn't really seem like something that Sean would do, at least not at first. We’re going for a wild route: we’ll have Sean hooking up with Cassidy (we don't know yet how far things can go-_-💦 aka tent scene), and they’ll wake up Big Joel on their way to Finn and Daniel. Sean will agree to the plan later, which will make Cassidy angry and she will leave, but she’ll get captured by Big Joel and brought back into the mess, because I think things are much more intense when she’s in there. I want this day to be the worst day of everybody lifes(including even finn and cassidy)
We will make Sean have a big pathetic crush on Cassidy, he will lick her ass a lot and always talks about her when he can (sorry for torturing you again😓, Daniel, but it’ll be good for you, it’ll make you have less expectations on Sean), because I can't play Episode 3 without feeling like Sean had a crush on Cassidy or wanted to hook up with her. And also, the Cassidy route is the true Episode 3 experience; when I watched the episode at launch, most playthroughs went with her, so let's see how I react towards it now.
I feel that this flashback foreshadows ep 3, but much more than just the "grow up" part, but i'm a bit tired to explain (maybe in another text)
Finn is definitely a bad influence on Daniel (cool guy, but a terrible influence); I can see "mini-Finn" traces on Daniel, haha. That scene where Daniel answer about that Big Joel is so hilarious and inappropriate! I feel like grabbing a flip-flop and smacking Daniel ass, but at the same time, I'm cracking up inside. Still, you shouldn't be saying thoses things, Daniel!!💢 Even though I sometimes find it a bit unfair of the game to put the blame so much only on Finn for Daniel's bad behavior, since everybody on Episode 3 was a bad influence, because the place itself wasn't a place for a child, but Finn becomes the main target because he's the one who spend the most time with Daniel; still, he isn't the only one to blame. I personally, consider Sean to be the one with most fault for leaving Daniel by his own, instead of looking out on him, although I can understand Sean better now too.
Hmm, interesting. We're making Sean kinda tough (I think that comes more from us than from him), i feel he's seem more tough on our playthrough, he's becoming perfect for Blood Brothers.
Wow, Daniel's power is so much stronger now.I can't, Sean's excitement when Daniel break those two pinecones is hilarious, his hand gesture🤣. It's impressive! how much Daniel can do now. The one that impressive me the most was him breaking the two pinecones on air by throwing a rock! wow!
just me, but I kinda get a feeling that Daniel gets a bit trigger when Sean asks him to blow up the ungly mushrooms because makes him remember mushroom💧(the mushroom even looks like her), and that's why his power gets so aggressive. but funny that on our playthrough i didnt felt that much strongly(but the scene goes by so fast💦) Maybe because we buried Mushroom, so Daniel didn't get much triggered?
till this day i fell that daniel's line "i not a kid anymore" is so misunderstood
So, remember when I said in Episode 1 that Daniel interacted a lot with the environment and all? Well, here he starts to have less of that. Honestly, Daniel barely shows up in this episode. It was a bit strange because, for me, this was the episode where I liked Daniel the most, he was sassy and brattie, he was my little brat, but we hardly saw any of that, I don't know if it was because of our play(it seems that daniel don't hate sean?)we almost didnt saw all that bratty side of him...Daniel barely appears, if you make Sean answer everything or do certain chooses, daniel almost disappears, i mean, i guess it, makes sense with the ep situation, but it was a bit frustrating
Why, Daniel?! Why?! Why don't you hate Sean? I mean, it's a little flattering because it makes it seem like Daniel likes us? (We make choices based mostly on Sean, but anyway, it's our choices.) I always knew that if Daniel existed, we and he would get along very well and he would like us, i like you too Daniel~🌸... but I want you to hate us! I want you to get angry with Sean! I remember that even the people that seem to like Daniel had a lot of difficulty making Daniel like them/their Sean when they played the game, and here we are trying to make Daniel hate us, but he likes us! No Daniel hate Sean, he's throwing you for a girl!
It’s so weird hearing that song "D.A.N.C.E" with this game. I remember discovering this song by a "My Little Pony" AMV haha; and the AMV had a super frenetic and well made editing, so this scene from the game feels really slow for the song to me. i mean, nowadays i find the song to be a bit slow too💦. Wow, I’ve known this song for such a long time, this was before lis2. This song will always be mlp for me
I’m angry with myself for not being angry with Sean in this episode! we’re literally doing a 100% Cassidy route, but for some reason, I’m not getting annoyed by it. I don’t know if it’s because we’re the ones playing, maybe my anger used to come more from the people that were playing than the game itself, since the people were pretty nasty toward Daniel in the playthroughs that I used to watch at that time, whereas Ana and I don’t really hate Daniel, so when we make those choices we dont do with bad-intentioned.(Sigh) And nowadays, I kind of understand Sean now too; he’s a teenager, and it must be draining for him to be with Daniel sometimes because when he’s with Daniel, he needs to be the role model. He can’t do his typical teenage stuff because he has to play the "parent" and etc, and Daniel is a child, so, a completly different mind/stage of life comparer to sean's. But in Episode 3, Sean was with people that were more on his level(no way Ep 3 people are teenagers, but they act like it) so it was a moment where he could act more like a teenager himself. In the end, the situation of Episode 3 is both Sean and Daniel acting very irresponsibly, but because they’re both genuinely immature indeed: Sean, because he’s a teenager. Poor him, he doesn’t really have the mindset or maturity to look after a child, and shouldn't be looking after one. And Daniel, because he’s a kid in a situation and place that aren't meant for him. I think i can understand both of them now (i feel could say better💦)
We didn't make Sean go into the tent, I won't lie, but for some reason, I felt a bit anxious at that moment; maybe that was the intensity that i needed to make me get angry with Sean. But I don't want to picture a BB where Sean give his ass to Cassidy(actually is more vice versa) instead of looking out for Daniel, so... no. Plus, I don't think it was the right moment for Sean... I remember back then, a lot of YouTubers/people,used to make fun of Sean, because it seems that he was... well, you know, kinda bad at it. It used to really make me angry, like, "Don't talk about Sean like that!💢poor him"...remember thoses things makes me seem that the phase of this game has some not so nice things, people were really stupid during that time too.
Okay, the ending of Episode 3 still very tense.i was so nervous, my heart was beating fast, I can't believe we almost got the ending where Finn dies! thank god Ana pulled it out before that happened, but it’s was a bit frustrating, because having to redo it made me lose a bit of the intensity; but, I would been traumatized for life if we got that outcome. That’s so horrible, Finn doesn't deserve to die. Poor Daniel, imagine how he would feel; he’s going to think that everyone who gets close to him is doomed to die.
Playing Episode 3, I feel it has the same effect as the Kuroki stage on Sifu🤣; both are segments that seem really interesting when you first watch/play them, but after (re) playing/watching them again, you realize that’s where the game starts to lose its spark. In Sifu, it’s because the experience becomes less immersive: the MCs stops having much dialogues, the shortcuts and secret areas disappear, and the environment itself becomes quite repetitive and tedious when replaying too much. As for Life is Strange 2, certain gameplay elements drop off here: the money mechanic/buying is gone, Sean stops commenting much on the items in his backpack, and the discussions with Daniel cease; Daniel himself starts to dissappear a bit and becoming far less interactive than in the two previous episodes. The setting feels very static, with few places to explore, as there are no shifts in scenery during gameplay like there were in Episodes 1 and 2. The comparison is even funny, because both are chapters that are very beloved by fans(for some reason); maybe because a lot of fans dont play the games and watch more the gameplays, those who watch seem to get really impressed by these two (maybe because these two segments are more interesting to watch than to play), but when you actually playing, they are not that cool as the previous one. I give some points to Episode 3 because its ending is very good indeed.
Ep 2 thoughts (i was the one playing!)
Episode 2 was an ep that freaked me out at the time it released, and it wasn't an episode that I particularly liked (in fact, this was the ep that made me start wondering if I should keep liking this game). Sean and Daniel behavior shocked me; they were pretty mean with each other compared to Episode 1. The ending of Episode 1 was cute and all, but in Episode 2, in the beginning, Sean was very mean with Daniel, and Daniel was kinda mean with Sean, too(i mean is realistic of the game, i guess, sean and daniel are a big and a little brother so they will be hostile with each other sometimes, but i used to find a bit…mean, due to the circumstance that they were in, to they be acting this way with each other). However, while playing the ep now, i didn't get much bother and i didnt find they that hostile with each other. I’m not sure if was because of our play (sean and daniel weren't that angry with each other) or if I simply got used to it, but their personality definitely change a bit compared to how they were in Episode 1.
Daniel having a creepy baby doll toy 🤣. The doll's name is "Blonde Demon", could this be a foreshadow for "Lone Wolf"? Hmm, not gonna lie, "Blonde Demon" is a very fitting and cool name for this daniel; I can totally picture the gang members calling Daniel this way or this being Daniel's criminal name.
Sean is such a cool brother in our playthrough that the game world works in his favor💢; he won that dice game on the first try and with a huge score!! I didnt understand pretty much nothing of this game at all,i wasnt even trying much, but somehow he won. No way! we want Daniel's drawing, so we redoit again. The second round was hilarious: Sean and Daniel being two dumbasses, being forever stuck on small points🤣—Sean stuck on 6 and Daniel on 4—but luckily, Daniel managed to get a higher-score roll at the end.we got mushroom drawing, way better
It’s so sad that Mushroom has to die; her death is heartbreaking, especially if you’ve had witnessed the death of a pet too. Seeing Mushroom’s stiff little body and her lifeless little eyes… I won't lie, I almost cried but didnt. We let Daniel kill the cougar; the way Daniel kills it's much more creepy than I remembered, it very fast and brutal. Poor animal, it’s not its fault, it’s just instinct, but I hate the thought of mushroom being eaten and not having a proper burial. The important thing is that Daniel feels bad about it afterward. love that Daniel keeps his promise, especially in mexico, he never forgot her
Claire seems somewhat traumatized by what Karen did. I wonder why? compared to Stephen, she appears to be more affected by. Perhaps it’s because, in a conservative culture, the blame often falls on the woman or mother; since Karen is a daughter, Claire becomes the example of woman on karen's. So, if Karen acted the way she did, it looks like a result of her mother's or simply implies that the mother failed in her mission to raise a decent daughter. That might be why she feels so haunted by it; it’s more complicated for her because the blame fall more into her.
Is actually quite admirable that the grandparents were also outraged by what Karen did. They seem somewhat xenophobic (not the most extreme, but still), yet they are deeply upset with Karen for abandoning her husband and children. Given that Esteban is Mexican and the two children look much more like him, their xenophobic mindset could have served as a justification for Karen's action; however, they get very upset by it and dont approve at all
the grandparents are very red flag, i know, but i like them (i think there's room for improvement for them)
Can't believe Daniel really told the truth to Chris when we ask him to!! WHAT!? (he listens to Sean?) this Daniel is scaring me, no way we gonna get PW or R cuz of him💢 Daniel you not gonna do that to me
Chris is so Nice, too bad that we don't see him much but he's very cool, i like Chris(and wow, indeed the Chris girl aka Kat from Lost Record indeed looks like Chris haha🤣 even the personality)
That photo of Karen wearing her dad's firefighter helmet is very relatable; Ana and I have a photo just like it too, the only difference being that we were kids, not teenagers. I think it’s a tradition of firefighters' kids. makes me wonder if some people of the game's team had firefighters parents (this is a funny coincidence that we share with this game).
Episode 2 was an episode that a lot of people were disappointed or simply bored with it, and I think I can understand; it doesn't have as much going on compared to Episode 1, and the grandparents' house segment is pretty limited since we can't go to many places due to their rules, so it doesnt have much to explorer. and this ep is a bit of an unpleasant/shocking episode because Mushroom dies in it(ngl, dont like that they kill mushroom so early💢), Daniel can kill an animal, Chris can get hit by a car (some people even thought that he had died), plus the situation with Chris and his dad isn't really resolved, and so on, things happen in very frustating ways. But playing it, I didn't dislike the episode as much as I did back then. it was nice
Ok, we finally played EP 1 of lis2! Now i Will write some of my thoughts and observations on It
I confess I was a bit afraid if I would find Sean and Daniel's voices too different from what i remember on my head, since it's been so long since I seen them (especially with sound; sometimes i would watch some scenes from the game, but never with sound, cuz used to make me nervous for some reason at that time). But no, their voices are exactly how I remember, is as if has not passed that much time since I saw this game… it's exactly how I remember, exactly how i remember them.
I confess that while playing the game I didn't hate Esteban at all. Before, I didn't like him much because I thought he was too nice toward Lyla, and that relationship bothered me because it seemed like Lyla had a crush on him (I don't like this thing of having crushes on friends' parents) and it seemed like he reciprocated a little -not literally, but a little. But no, he's actually quite normal with her. He's nice and all, but its because she's Sean's friend, and he appreciates that Sean has friends who care about him. Can I even say that I liked him? Not like people, but he really was a very cool and caring father; And is really sad what happended to him…is very sad
...Still not liking lyla though
Ana made Sean not hug his father, ouch. At first, I thought that the choice was too heavy, I even doubted whether we should take that choice yes or no, but after thinking about it a little more, I found it to be more coherent. I feel that when players make the best/good choices on Seattle, it's because they know what's going to happen on that day or they just know that something bad is going to happen eventualy, so they try to make Sean warmer because they want Sean to have a better memory of himself on that day. But for Sean himself, this is just a normal day in his life. He doesn't know what's going to happen, so Sean will act like a asshole teenager. He'll feel cringed to hug his father, he'll complain about Daniel to Lyla, he'll act like… a teenager. For Sean, this is just another day in his life, so why act so caring now?
Daniel is much more interactive than I thought; he does a lot of things, he interacts a lot with the environment. I thought it would be more simpler, but he actually does/interacts a lot with the environments. I found it really cool; I love seeing his interactions. i love to see my daniel
Sorry Daniel, but we had to make you suffer a little in the woods, haha. We made Sean do all sorts of pranks on Daniel, and we also made Daniel get scared. Sorry Daniel, but I can't resist🤣, and it's so much funnier when Sean is being a jerk. Not that I would be a jerk/mean to my Daniel😤 (poor little thing), but it's much more like Sean from episode 1 to do that, and it's really funny🤣. But we compensated Daniel's suffering with a big feast for him, haha. We made Sean buy a lot of food at the gas station(is hilarious how much daniel likes food haha, its cute) plus we won the power bear (we preferred to let Daniel win, it's more easy 💦 so Sean supported him till the end).
At the time I used to find some of the situations of lis2 a bit exaggerated, but nowadays, with the way things are going and the things that are happening, I don't find this game so unrealistic anymore.
It always intrigues me that Sean ran away, because he had a lot of support; everyone who knew him seemed to believe in his innocence, and he had quite a few people on his side. But that wasn't enough to make him believe that he had a chance. I think Sean was right to run away; don't think it would have worked out
Ana and I are playing in such a more interesting way; we make choices based more on what we think are more like Sean(and Daniel), makes things more interesting.
Episode 1 is all funny and stuff, I just want to see when we get to the other episodes, the game starts to get more intense. we will see, am i will get trigger?
I still can't believe we finally bought Life is Strange 2! Now… it's finally here, we just need to play it! (But I'm a little apprehensive because I'm afraid if won't be special. I want it to be special! and also I don't like this month for some reason. June and July are hellish months for me, something bad always happens(last year was heartbreaking 💧…), and I don't want the memory of Life is Strange 2 to be overshadowed by something bad. But I don't think that's going to happen.)
It's so strange to remember, I remember all these years always thinking about the idea of one day playing Lis2 myself, and now it's finally here. It's been so long since I last saw this game, almost 9 years since I saw Life is Strange 2. I was a pre-teen when I like it lis2, now I'm an adult. I wonder what I'll think of it? and I'll definitely write my thoughts about it here! Ana and I will remember about everything, including… the bad parts, but the good ones too. we just need to find a good day to play it. Unfortunately, these past few months have been a little difficult to find a good day to play.
this new kid movie from netflix looks like an AI and it bothers me that nobody seem to be noticing. the characters movement, the synth of the mouth, even the whole aesthetic of it! look just like an AI! And the movie is getting fucking famous! everybody is prasing this damn movie, even that is suspecious, never heard about this movie before and all of the sudden it just appears and everybody is saying all kinds of good stuff about it…weird.
I was rewatching some dialogues from Life is Strange 2, I saw the campfire dialogue from episode 3, where everyone talks about their bad days, Daniel's part hit me, I didn't remember that, what Daniel says is so sad… so, that's how he feels💧, Daniel feels he failed everyone and his miss his best friend, his dad... poor Daniel💧. that's so sad
in case someone wonders i am the “first” twin and Ana is the “second” (so in relation to Mio and Mayu, i am mio). I put quote on quote cuz doesn't exist such thing as a first and second or older and little twin (we are twins and that's It!💢) is not like normal siblings who has the first and the second child ,we were born on the same day🙄 so no such thing!
I hope I don’t get too bothered by this later because I have this thing that I don’t like to associate songs that are too special to me with the things that I’m interested in, and unfortunately, “Time of Dying” is one of those songs. I’ve known this song for a long time, and I used to listen to it when I had my anxiety attacks. I used to listen to this song when I felt kinda…bad, so it carries a special weight for me.
I kinda associate this song with myself and how I feel, so I don’t like to put it or associate it with anything because I fear that somehow the association might turn into something negative in the future (it’s a bit horrible and sad to say it out loud like that because I really like Sifu and I really like her, i like her a lot…i am insinuating that i don’t trust her or that i feel that something bad can happen!?)…well, I trust her (a bit), so I don’t think there’s a problem.
Yes!! You heard right, “HER!”, I associate with her, fuck this man, she’s the emo, so the song is hers, haha, I’m kidding, she's not emo and it fits both of them/the game in general, but when I talk, I’m thinking more about her.
I should try to see it in a more beautiful and less negative way, it’s a special song for me, and it’s like I’m sharing a part of myself with the game/her, and I like her so much that I allow that part to be a part of her too.
If I had to put a rock song of my for each of my interests, SIFU definitly combine with "Time of dying" (by Three Days Grace)
