I'm a 25 years old autistic artist from Australia and go by It/it's & He/Him pronouns :3

My main interest is making art, especially drawing but, I also really love The Sims franchise (mostly Sims 1/2 era) and my last hyperfixation was ace attorney. So I made two side blogs for said interests! \(≧∇≦)/

I made this Tumblr mostly as a way for me to share my art/crafts/gaming screenshots & anything I feel like, mostly art thou :-)
My hobbies are drawing/painting, making crafts/D.I.Y projects (e.g. kandi, zine's ECT.), sewing, playing video games (favourite game is sims 2 on PC), reading comics/manga, alt/retro/J-fashion, cartoons/anime, internet aesthetics (faves are kidcore, frutiger metro, pastel goth and frutiguer aero), op shopping, collecting dolls, plushies, retro/vintage games and anything that I think looks cool XD

About a week ago I went to my first Rave! It was pretty fun! I do enjoy these kinds events even if I do them too often cuz I need to get pretty drunk and a wear ear protection in order to be in such a loud space, otherwise I'd probably freak out from sensory overwhelm before entering the dang building XD
I made all these kandi to give away and sadly I was too shy to talk to most people there (kinda didn't help I went alone my my one friend left like an hour into the night) but did manage to give out 3 of these bracelets! I even still remember one of the names of the people I gave the bracelet too ^v^
I woke up at around 6am today because I had a song stuck in my head, I only had two lines of lyrics I could clearly hear so I search them and the results were blank. So I assumed I might be mis-remembering it, so my half asleep brain thinks "okay I think it's a red hot chili peppers song, I look up what I think this song is called with that band name"
So I search "My Happiness by red hot chili peppers" and of course other songs by RHCP show up with similar titles but not that title, I almost give up but scowl a bit more and find it! Turn's out it's not by RHCP but by an Australian band called Powderfinger. Never heard of them before but I assume I heard the song on RAGE given I watched that a lot as a toddler/young kid and it does feel nostalgic. :P
Yesterday a fic of mind got a sus but overall kinda sweet looking comment on AO3 but sadly my gut reaction was right cuz today the comment was deleted and the account is now blank... feel like such a loser for thinking I might actually of gotten a nice comment on my fic :(
Last night I made my first ever rosette! And a big bow that was going to go on it but was too big (probably will make it a hair clip :P). While it's sadly not as heart shaped as I had hoped it be and the pink does move about on the rosette more than I'd like, I think it came out great for a first try! I plan on making at least 5 more for fandom pins I've got :D
A few weeks ago I ordered fan merch from a few different ACGgoods store's :D I will link tumblrs for all the merch I got under the cut cuz I so so so recommend buying from them, also got my current Sonic shrine under the cut too!

It's small I know, but hopefully, in future it'll become bigger as I buy more merch, also the the keychain display I made using box the merch shipped in XD. For future merch buying I want to mostly focus on buying fan merch cuz imo it tends to look cooler and, I wanna support artists! I also will probably focus mostly on finding Babylon Rouge merch specifically since there is a distinct lack of them in my collection atm XD
Of course not all my sonic merch in in the shrine, but most of it is in it, also here's a picture of my metany Neo metal (only sonic funko I like the look of ngl) and Amy figure :-D
So when I saw the prompt list for cringetober I knew I had to do at least some of them, with day two being one of them :D
At first I wasn't sure how to interrupt this prompt but then I remembered as a kid I always found the default colour options in ms paint to be odd, especially the first row of the edit colour section. So I decided to use that row plus two random colours from the basic colours selection to make a colour pallet (not including black & white which was also used) :D
After I got that I drew of a sketch in my sketchbook of a cute alien girl (which was fast as I had a very strong visual idea for her pose and vibe), took a pic and then did the rest of the drawing in fire alpaca, expect for the background, which I did in ms paint because I felt that would make the drawing look more fun and I was right :-D
Overall I really like this drawing a lot, I think it looks really fun and cute ^u^ ☆I really loved creating this character from these very interesting colours
Haven't been active much, too busy with boring adult life stuff and playing tomodachi life living the dream.
My island is going to just be sonic characters (cuz the max residents is 70) and so fair is pretty fun :D. Sonadow marriage and baby has already happened but what I find more interesting are the other ships happening. Currently got Vectilla (but they still don't live together no matter how many times Vector asks!), Blaze X Wave (they didn't have a crush on each other, weren't even friends but, Blaze crashed Rogue's confession and Wave picked her) and Sticks X Metal Sonic XD, Also have Espio and Jet sharing a mutual crush but neither have made a move and Amy's got a one sided crush on Tikal!
Yesterday I decided to impulse make another zine! I have a LOT of stickers, with a good chunk being grabbed from a craft even I went to last month, so I wanted to try using a ton up... ended up making my wordiest zine as a result. XD I started with the simple concept of making a sticker based zine about colour and somehow it lead to a sorta perzine about my favourite colour, and how that's changed over the years... also yes this is why my username is cyan dreamz X3
Do you have a favourite colour? and if so has it changed over the years for you too?
So currently I have Sonic, Shadow and Amy! I tried to use as little face paint as possible because, I assume that won't carry genetics over to the babies, I suck at drawing with mah finger &, I really like the Mii look of these Hedgehogs XD I of course plan on adding more sonic characters, Sims premades, Ace attorney characters and others :D I'm also currently Bottom Banana because Top Banana was a name option for me... I will probs change it soon.

Pretty happy with the personalities, but thinking about it I might go back and make Shadow max serious and max quirky...
So glad I made running the topic, simple but really suited the situation, also yes Sonic calls Shadow "Shads", and I did give Shadow a quirk to start sentences with "Damn" XD
Some interesting conversations seem to happen with Amy...
It's too soon to look back on the year (TT O TT)
And the current relationships! I really like how different they all are from each other! I know the 3DS version of this game also had dynamic relationships but the only game I've played that has this is Sims 2 so it's fun to play another game with it... sort of, they're of course all under house arrest until I buy the game lol.
Update! I changed Shadow's personality and now he's blue not orange! (my sonadow brain is totally not being fueled by Shadow and Sonic's personalities being the opposites colour...)
Also Edited the eyes on all of them to give eye shines and gave red eyeliner and thicker top eye lines to shadow to look like the red around his eyes in canon :D Also seems only Sonic is handling the house arrest well... unlike the other two he isn't yapping (so maybe that means he's coping the worst XD).
Got the Sonic plush from a local market a bit ago for only $5 (AUD) :D, I also got a Rouge keychain then & a bunch of Sonic cards that day too. The pink hedgehog I got last week from a library, the knitting club in the area had made a bunch of stuff to give for Easter, I have of course named her Amy! As for the Big key chain the imagine was going to go into this zine but it didn't fit but luckily fit into the keychain really well!

Last week I made this zine at an event, since Sonic is a current hyperfixation and my body pain is playing up too much for me to draw at present I decided, instead of drawing fanart, I'd make a fanzine on my top 5 faves :D While this zine took longer than I would've wanted, I am quite happy with the result! I worked on it at two craft events back to back which made the process even more fun ^u^
Even if none of these characters are your top 5 I hope you still enjoy this zine and maybe feel inspired to make one on your faves :P no pressure of course X3 As for me, I may make more sonic fanzines but currently got no ideas for one yet :P
last week I made a zine about my asexuality! I made this zine for a few reasons, firstly it's because the A-spec aspect of my queer identity was the part that took longest to figure out (though the aro part took longer than the ace part :P) and second, it's because I have sadly noticed many people in real life can be really weird about it?
Like even with well meaning & kind folks, a few have straight up make annoying assumptions about me as soon as they learn I'm ace. One example is that after I corrected someone for thinking I'm touch adverse I mentioned being ace in a group convo and they immediately said "Oh I knew I was right to assume you didn't like hugs and kisses!" which was, ugh! :[ so fucken annoying, but other shit like assuming I've never been in a sex shop (I'm 25! I've been in 2 or 3 different ones!), can't handle sex jokes or, give relationship advice at all it's all just... so fucken frustrating so I kinda vented with this zine XD
Probably doesn't help in real life I am a super quite and a passive person (it's something I'm working on!) so I guess it's really easy to project the ace stereotypes onto me, but still! In future, I would love to make zines on A-spec and M-spec Identities but last time I attempted this I got quickly overwhelmed by the research as I'd want these zines to be fully inclusive but, also friendly to total LGBT+ newbies :P but maybe this year I'll try again! who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
P.S the shadow image is an edit I made, I just put the png over an ace flag cuz I do hc him as some flavor of a-spec (idea what term for now though :P), maybe I should've said "This is who I am" as a shadow 05 ref in this somewhere XD, oh well.
Last week I scanned my first zine! Reason is because it's a 16 page zine (two mini zines to make one) and I knew I wanted to make another 16 page mini zine so I scanned & printed a copy to test stapling a zine so I could feel confident I would be able to sell copies of these 16 page zines in future :>
I also took pics of the master copies pages again for this post because my first ever tumblr post on this blog is of this zine! and you can tell... I donated the zine copy to my state library because it turns out they're wanting to create a collection of local zines so I may scan more of my zines for them soonish to donate ^u^
as for this zine and why I made it, well I used to be a full time decora! especially from 2021-2023, even used to have an insta account for it (before I got rid of all my instas for many many reasons). I don't wear decora much these days but I still love the style! Even if my feelings around it are a tad complicated due to a lotta personal stuff :P
For a first zine I'm still quite proud of this one and like even more than I did when I first finished it! Also random fact the character on the last page is my old sona design, it used to just be an alien but now is a cat alien, will redesign him one day...
Few days ago I felt like drawing human versions of the Creeper and Enderman because I really like both these mobs (especially Enderman, they're my fave!) and have been playing Minecraft a bit more lately :3
This isn't the first time I've done human versions of these mobs but unfortunately those original versions are in a sketchbook that's currently in storage, so I can't share them atm. For the Creeper's design I wanted him to seem like a very mischievous and chaotic person, I also gave hiss a scene inspired fashion style because I think scene is a very fun and loud style and sub culture so I think it suits my creeper ^u^.
For Enderman I wanted void to have a more casual and kinda lazy outfit because I wanted my version of the Enderman to seem very unassuming and tired by default, cuz that's the impression they give me. I also gave them a necklace inspired by the eye of ender and ender pearl earrings for obvious reasons :P.
I had a lot of fun refining these charater design's from the old ones I did cuz I vaguely remember being more boring (especially the Creeper) as well as creating this fun page layout. To my surprise though, my favourite thing to do for this drawing was colour in the green's for the Creeper, it was just the most stratifying process in this drawing for me.
