Here comes the final representative of the Larimores' dynasty -- Adalarick the Fighter.
Ambitious, charismatic, dashing, a dandy, a man of many talents, a desperate social climber and a shameless womanizer -- he still has to try it hard to outshine generations of outstanding ancestors. Being raised by vampires, as an adult he shies away from everything supernatural and prefers to build his life by himself, not relying on divine beings or magical powers. Although joining the military as a cavalier was not so difficult, advancing there might pose quite a challenge. For a tiefling and prejudices around his kind it might turn out to be biting off more than he can chew. Still, Adalarick has a loyal companion -- a mare called Verity -- and a raw talent to quickly grasp new things, as well as lineage even most noble knights can't boast with. He simply cannot fail.
Originally made for my beautiful @shepofships and her vampire OC, Keira Lamont. Basically she told me, "Build me a house like the one I had in Skyrim." And so I did.
Has a dining room, an occult study room, master's (mistress's!) bedroom, a guest room (for thralls), a wardrobe room, a kitchen, a bathroom and an another room in a tower with a secret purpose -- certainly not chilling and pestilient.
This lot was also used for my warlock generation roleplay.

I'm back to finish that legacy. Despite the fact that exploring real forgotten realms (hello to fellow BG3 enjoyers) was so wholesome, I'm still wondering where my legacy challenge will lead me in the end.
So, in previous episode half-drow Areiing met a mysteriuos character of Vladislaus Straud, and made a pact with him: she is to guard Vlad's ancestral house from vengeful spirits of his victims, and he is to give her a gift of immoratality. It worked to everyone's favor -- Areiing always dreamed of decadent life of luxury and abudance. She was in control. She had it all planned out.
Untill Morley walked into her life. Casual attraction turning into passion, turning into yearning to belong so strong, that it overshadowed everything else. She fell in love with a tiefling, married him, had a tiefling kid -- which was а pretty unwelcome surprise, considering she never desired to be a mother. Her husband was elated, thought.
So the three of them continue to live in haunted vampiric house. Perhaps now Vladislaus also sees them as unwanted guests, and soon is to make a pact with another warlock to get Areiing and her family out of his home.

This is Areiing, Almira's eldest. And due to being the firstborn, all of her childhood and early teen ages she spent tending to younger siblings, a nosy and troublesome pack of werewolf pups -- and it only worsened her misanthropic tenedencies. Finally, when she fully hit puberty, Areiing had enough of that -- she decided she didn't want to see a child any time soon again -- so she left. She also despised simpistic life her family led, and wished to be a connoisseur of the finer things -- but neither she wished to work day and night for that. Instead, she met a mysterious and extravagant character, who had promises of power and joyous, carefree life in exchange of "getting unwanted guests out from his house" -- whatever that meant, -- and followed him to an old dusty mansion in Forgotten Hollow.
Whatever I expected from this generation, it was not raising a family of half-drow werewolves. Sibling rivalry for parents' attention! Fights for the only bed in the house! Howling competitions! Someone ragebreaking all the plumbing and ovens AGAIN!
Well, no surprise the eldest daughter - the only ordinary sim in the family - escaped from this nightmare as soon as she could. Coincidentally, most of the household money vanished along with her.
It is also the first time I didn't manage to reach elderly age during playthough, because a werewolf's lifespan is so unfairly long.

Here comes Almira, the Barbarian and daddy's disappointment. Being born with the only purpouse to inherit Aegranan's magical legacy, she, unfortunately, showed neither talent nor wish to study a wizard's craft. She was far from succeeding academically and struggled even in learning how to read, and all the studying her father insisted on frustrated her to no end. To her other father's joy, though, Almira has grown to be physically gifted and quickly taught herself how to punch anyone who dares to call her "stupid" in a very painfull way.
All of his youth and adulthood Aegranan spent in the race for arcane lore and magic potency. It's in his elder age that he desided not to pursue the path of knowledge, but to secure his legacy. He wrote numerous spell tomes to document all his experiments in magic. He married a man he was in love with. He had a child and devoted a lot of attention to her.
In the end, it's in his elderhood when he got a new momentum and started to really enjoy his life. Still, he would have lived it the same way all over again, had had he the chance.

This game is a real masterpiece. It's as if Disco Elysium and The Name of the Rose got married and had a baby. A wonderful murder mystery set in rural Bavaria during late Medieval/early Renaissance age. Truly mesmerizing artstyle and masterful storytelling. An Obsidian's creation at its best.
Here is Aegranan, a resident wizard. He was a bright kid, and he has been studying his great grandmother's arcane tomes since teenage years. But, unlike Alethea, to whom magic came as naturally as breathing, Aegranan has no significant magical heritage, and on the road to academic honours he can rely only on hard work and sharp mind. He lives in a secluded tower only in a company of his familiar, Hecate the cat, so no one could disturb his scientific research. His ambition is not to become the most powerful wizard, but the wizest one, for Aegranan is sure: knowledge is the real power.
There was an unexpected turn of events: I fully intended Aerinen to be aromantic, but she clearly had a different opinion. Despite being both 'loner' and 'unflirty' and having 'Single and Lovin' It' lifestyle, she constanly had wishes fist to engage into romantic relationship with her druid friend, then to propose and marry her. So I decided to ignore that small bit of a challenge and to cater to her desires. So they became a happy family of two forest maidens and their adoptive son, who live together with a wolfpack.
Since Forgotten Realms Chalenge I play is coming to the last quarter, I decided to look for some other challenges that might interest me. Along the way I decided to write my own rules for challenge inspired by my favorite roleplay setting, Vampire: The Masquerade. I took only Camarilla clans, and I totally ignored the 5th ediction, so Gangrels are also a part of this.
So, this is to be played as a legacy of vampires in The SIms 4. The next generation is supposed to be embraced by Vampire Creation ability, however, if you wish, your sims may reproduce the classic way.
