I prefer he/him, but I also like they/void pronouns (void comes from an irl friend calling men the void and then went "but you're a good void" and I got attached, alright?) Even though I use more than just he/him I still identify as a trans guy

watching both etho's letsplay (the early eps. I'm on like no. 5 rn) and evosmp rn and. there's really something about the early early minecraft versions that gets to me. there's something about the game that feels a lot more... personal, I guess?

it's fundamentally a really bare-bones medium, without a lot of its own character: the world generation is fairly consistent, the mobs and blocks are much more limited, and the vast array of redstone mechanics we have now just... aren't there (whether because they're not possible in game or because they literally Haven't Been Invented Yet). and still, people are imbuing it with beauty and invention and meaning - making, from a fundamentally very simple medium, these intricate little universes. grian's empire in the water! netty's tree-fort! etho's boat dispenser system!! there's just such a distinct charm to all of them (and to the videos in which you see them! the minecraft music in the background, the generally softer style of speaking, etc). idk. I'm rambling. creation within limitations my beloved
