A Xuanwen beast that cultivated a human form. Was found and “adopted”by the Lan Family.

Calls Lan Yan “Yan-Jie” and she calls him “Xuan-di” they both think this is funny

When he was asked his name for the first time panicked and said Xuan (he knew people called him a Xuanwen) when asked about a family name he got all sad “I don’t have one…”

Learned silver smithing and some carving techniques while living in Chenyu Vale

He now lives in Fontaine. Owns a small shop where he sells his own work and other small crafts from his family (Lan Yan’s work is very popular with kids)

Navia is a regular who often commissions him for miniatures/dice for her Tabletop Troupe games

Escoffier comes in to get her cooking instruments tuned. Like knives getting sharpened or spoons getting fixed.

Has some non-Fontaine customers where he hires Kirara for some deliveries

Met Neuvillette while out on a rainy day. The two hit it off during that time(aka Lan Xuan yapped about Chenyu Vale and its water)

Lan Xuan is completely convinced that Neuvillette is a leisurely otter( one that cultivated a human form)

Lan Xuan is trying to learn to swim so he can swim with Neuvillette in otter form(he doesn’t know the truth), he hates it so much, but he rrreeaallyy wants to impress Neuvillette

He isn’t sure what Neuvillette does, but knows it’s important.

Neither knows that the other likes them. They don’t even really know that they have feelings for each other

He enjoys spending time in his animal form so pretty much everyone knows he’s not human

Got his vision when he moved to Fontaine. I just showed up in his bag one day.
