Sakura Season (Starter for twinspiritdragcn)
Bright pink sakura leaves flow through the air as they were wisked the calm breeze. They gingerly collided and brushed off the silver metal of the resting Genji’s body. He had been sitting cross legged, deep in thought, as he stared curiously at the beautiful leaves. If their was one thing the cyborg missed the most, it would be the feeling of Japan’s finest leaves coupled, with a cool breeze, brushing softly against his human flesh. But that was then. And this is now. He is grateful to even have the opportunity to view the sakura season as the trees shed off their precious cargo.
Genji would be completely engrossed in sightseeing if it hadn’t been for his unexpected visitor. “They are beautiful, are they not? Seeing them reminds me of….who I am…and where I come from. Such as life, the leaves must fall and die in order to make room for new beautiful leaves. Am I wrong, brother?”, He called out, eyes staying locked on the falling leaves as he waited for a response.

The whirlwind of petals danced for Genji, but not for Hanzo. In the blizzard of the shed rosy foliage stood the modern ronin, arms folded boldly across his chest with his nose turned up and narrow eyes looking down at his brother. Hanzo scoffed and scorned his brother with a tone that was a fine blend of annoyed and angered- he had yet to let go of his past and the bitterness that followed along with it.
“You are not the brother that I once knew. He lived just as the Sakura did; he bloomed then fell with the wind; my brother is dead and I refuse to believe that you are in fact him.”
The eyes that met his during their first encounter had burned into his mind, engraving themselves into his brain as a sharpened blade would. However, he refused to accept what he had seen- he had killed his brother with his own two hands and he saw him die with his own two eyes.
A small chuckle breathed through in the cyborg's mouth as he shook his head. "Come. Sit with me then. The sakura or more beautiful when you take the time to enjoy them", he pointed out. With this, Genji placed both hands behind his head and released the air tight seals of his mask and visor. This act would leave him vunerable, but if he was to show his brother the real Genji and not his Ghost then all measures must be taken.
"Kuso.....Brother, it is both admirable and frustrating that you do not accept me in this body", he sighed, placing the metal mask next to him, revealing his distorted face with cuts and scars on every inch of the fragile flesh. "What do you want me to say, Hanzo? 'Hajimemashite! Boku wa, Genji Shimada desu! I am your brother, the one that trained with you, played with you, and fought you like the kids we were. The one who took all his wealth for granted and threw it away on women and useless commodities. Then same one who you cut up and threw away like some kind of...", he stopped himself, realizing his words were becoming more heated. No, he did not come this far to lose his temper. He let out a deep breath and let a smirk curl on his lips, "On the other side, you denying me shows that you at least cared about the Genji you knew."
