Enjoy crispy, flavorful catfish without the hassle of deep frying! This easy air fryer catfish recipe is gluten-free and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 4 catfish fillets. 1 cup gluten-free cornmeal. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 2 eggs, beaten. Cooking spray.
Instructions: Get the air fryer ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cornmeal should all be mixed together in a shallow dish. After dipping each catfish fillet into the eggs that have been beaten, cover it all over with the cornmeal mixture. Use cooking spray on the air fryer basket to keep food from sticking. Lay the catfish fillets out in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray a little cooking spray on top of the fillets. For 10 to 12 minutes, flip the catfish over halfway through the cooking time, or until it is golden brown and done all the way through. Warm it up and dip it in your favorite gluten-free sauce.
