Cynthia Rosicki first met her husband, Tom, at a debutante ball at the Waldorf Astoria and weeks later, they toasted their first date with a bottle of champagne. Months later, the couple celebrated their marriage aboard a ship on the Chesapeake Bay with more champagne. Recognizing champagne as a symbol of magic and romance, Cynthia Rosicki and her husband established Sparkling Pointe, a vineyard on Long Island’s North Fork that produces delicious sparkling wines. After seeing the budding wine country developing close to their own home, they decided to purchase a parcel of land and enlisted the help of celebrated vineyard developer Steve Mudd and Gilles Martin, an internationally renowned vintner who formerly worked for a leading champagne producer in France. Since Tom and Cynthia Rosicki first broke ground at Sparkling Pointe, they have maintained a dedication to producing the finest sparkling wine possible.
Outside of her commitments to Sparkling Pointe, Cynthia Rosicki contributes to her local community by supporting a range of organizations, such as the Kosciuszko Foundation. A member of the organization’s board of directors, she helps the Kosciuszko Foundation realize its goals of facilitating academic, artistic, and cultural exchange between the United States and Poland. Cynthia Rosicki is also involved with Help the Homeless, Gift of Life, and AHRC Nassau, among other organizations.
Over the course of her career, Cynthia Rosicki has earned a number of honors in recognition of her dedication to philanthropy. These distinctions include the Polish Children’s Heartline Humanitarian Award and the Nassau County Community Service Award. In 2004, the National Republican Congressional Committee also recognized her as New York State Businesswoman of the Year.
