The amount of editing that we have to do after we have written the first draft of a book should be illegal! Like, what do you mean go back and introduce the characters properly? What do you mean fix the dialogue? What do you mean go back to when the characters aren't properly traumatized and talk about them? WHY MUST I - *insert frustrated screams *

It is not my fault, my imagination is already 16 books ahead, and my poor grammar and spelling are stuck on chapter 3!!! I want to write the part where the main character kills people in cold blood, instead, I am stuck trying to figure out how she would handle a normal social interaction!!! IS THIS KARMA FOR KILLING OFF THE BROTHER?!
