I finished the first RE novelization (S.D. Perry) today and it was definitely a fun read but I was kinda disappointed that Wesker fucks off and doesn’t interact with Chris for the rest of the story the SECOND they leave that mf alone 💀

For sure some creative liberties being taken and I get that but I wish the weirdly homoerotic rivalry origin was still included

Actually it's canon that she does! She finds one of the infected wearing it, kills him, and takes the jacket. You see it in Ada's DLC, Separate Ways. You as the player have the option to sell it to the merchant for money, but I like to think that outside of gameplay, Ada took that jacket home with her.

It's even canon in the original.

Ada canonically stole back her pookie's jacket from Los Illuminados 🥰
