I actually see them inviting Seb, Kourt, and/or Gina which is some HSM 3 Ryan and Kelsi Julliard excellence. But also would do wonders in terms of story telling. like it would show Seb he is good being comfortable as Sharpay, or Kourt that she can go down so many paths in order to get her dreams (if Kourt ends up singing a solo or something next ep) or even Gina because that would add to more jealousy with the Rini/Rina triangle (with moving again for her character arc and Nini being jealous) AND would show her how talented she really is AND would make sense from those scenes we keep seeing in promos of her dancing at some school or program with other people who aren’t the cast? If they do a montage of what happens between this play and the next at the end of ep. 10 and Gina ends up going to that school for a bit, that could be part of it.

yes !!! the whole time i was making that post i was thinking of hsm3. especially the part when the scouts were apparently coming for troy as well ? and i know troy never got the actual scholarship but i was just thinking about the “boy who’s never sang before actually being the best one” trope (even though sharpay and ryan invented show business but that’s another story) but yes i so so want them to give it to honestly any of the three you just said, especially seb now that you’ve said that, i never thought of it that way <3
