Some walks you have to take alone.
Suzanne Collins, Mockingjay (via quoted-books)

Jaehwan doesn’t remember falling asleep, nor does he recall even arriving at the park, but he finds himself sitting up, his body sore from laying on the stiff wood of the bench. His eyes blink open as he presses the palms of his hands to his eyelids, head pounding slightly from what he assumes was either a hangover or another migraine.
“Ah… what the heck..” He mumbles to himself, the morning rays of sunlight shining on his face as he scrunches it in annoyance. He was unaware of the stranger that sat on the bench that was across from him, only mumbling curses under his breath.
Yoon Daya has lead herself to a beautiful park. She smiles lightly at the scenery as she looks around, however her eyes land upon a pair of feet sticking out from the end of a bench. Her eyes squint a little to focus on what could be a person sleeping. In curiosity, she scurries lightly over to the bench to see who it is.
Without noticing, she finds herself sitting on the other end of the bench next to his head to get a closer look at the stranger. As she realises how handsome the man was, she holds her hair out of her way to look down at his gentle, yet focused sleeping face, laying in front of her lap. She was amazed at how a human being could look so adorable, it almost made her want to reach down to brush his hair out of his face to see more but before she does, he starts to lift himself up from his restless sleep. Daya straightens up in surprise, her hands immediately covering her mouth to muffle a sudden gasp that could have escaped her lips. She watches closely at the man who rubs his eyes in somewhat discomfort, and tilts her head slightly at him as he mumbles inaudible words. Her eyelids flutter in embarrassment after realising she has spent a little too long watching this man and that soon enough he’s going to notice her sitting there. Her naive mindset tells her to stay still as possible so that maybe he wouldn’t notice.
寂寞 [lonely] ...
It’s sunny outside. Daya’s feet took her on a little journey. She walked barefooted among the freshest grass, not so far from where she lived. Her hair danced along with the wind and the her dress danced by the same rhythm. Everything was peaceful yet overwhelming. She continues to walk, as if she had a purpose to fulfill even though she’s fully aware that there is no purpose.. Over there are children laughing and playing. Over there are a couple kissing and cuddling. But what about over here? There’s no one here. However she’s used to it. She doesn’t mind. She curls her hair behind her ears before approaching a stranded bench. She sits, which her legs crossed and her empty hands in her lap.
She often wishes she meets someone who can change her lonely life to a purposeful life.
