Rivalry (Sirius Black x Slytherin! reader)
A/N: Hope you like it, anon!
You could say you and Sirius hated each other.
You two were always fighting, most of the time about ridiculous topics, really, but it drove those around you mad. Two types of mad, though.
Remus, James, and Peter were sometimes so annoyed that they just left the room if they could. Your friends, however, were entertained but frustrated because of the ‘sexual tension’, as they like to say. Though they would never say it to your face, it’s sort of their running inside joke.
You fought every time you saw each other, the few miraculous times you didn’t, you were glaring daggers at each other. This, was one of those days when you fought.
You were walking, distracted by Severus, who was talking to you about some potion you were having trouble with when you crashed into a broad chest. You were about to apologize until you heard him and recognized the voice.
“Watch where you’re going, L/N!” Sirius growled. You glared at him as you adjusted your jacket, and as you looked down to make sure nothing was out of place, you heard him mutter, “honestly, you have eyes for a reason.” And could practically feel him rolling his eyes.
“Honestly, do you have to be such an asshole all the fucking time?!” You snapped.
“Because you’re not?” He rolled his eyes again. “Slytherins…”
“What about my house? It’s better than yours? We already know that.” You said, satisfaction blooming in your gut when you saw his eyes narrow in anger.
“Says the one that belongs to the house full of Death Eater wannabes.” He retaliated, making your blood boil, particularly because you were strongly against Voldemort and his henchmen.
“At least I don’t have you in my house, I’d run for the hills if I did.” You fired back, smirking when you saw him get offended. You noticed that you were alone in the corridor, surprisingly. Knowing that your friends were entertained by your constant arguments. Severus might’ve gone get them.
“Yeah? Well, at least I can get a Sleeping Draught right.” He said, making you bite your lip. You hated not knowing how to do things, hated feeling stupid because you weren’t, and you knew that, and you couldn’t let others think the opposite. That’s why you asked Severus to help you, because you knew he wouldn’t judge you, seeing as he loved talking about potions and said he didn’t mind teaching you how to brew one.
You didn’t know when you had gotten so close, you could feel his breath on your face. His awful, mint-smelling breath.
However, you weren’t about to complain, seeing as this gave you the perfect opportunity to slap him across the face. Which you did. Hard.
In fact, the force of your hand was so strong it made his head snap to the side, a red, hand-shaped mark already starting to show on his pale cheek. He turned back and glared at you, though it felt different, maybe he had just noticed how close you were.
“Listen here, you dick.” You yanked him down by the collar of his jacket so your faces were at the same height and he could look at you in the eyes. You were furious. “Don’t you dare insult my intelligence, because I am perfectly capable of kicking your ass—!”
He couldn’t take it. You were right there, so, so close. And looking so attractive, though pissed at him. He roughly grabbed your waist and pulled you flush against his body; you were so surprised you didn’t even complain. He was about to kiss you, your noses touching, when he realized he didn’t even know if you wanted this.
You, on the other hand, were freaking out internally. Here was Sirius, the most attractive guy you’ve ever seen, the sex god himself, about to kiss you. You of all people! His hands on your body were sending sparks everywhere and they felt like hot coal on your skin. You must’ve looked like a Gryffindor by the heat you felt in your cheeks. He suddenly stopped, and you were about to say that if this was a joke, then—
“Can I kiss you?” He whispered. His voice was so soft that, had you not been so close, you wouldn’t have heard it. It was low-pitched, lower than his normal voice, and it sent shivers down your spine. Still, you couldn’t help yourself.
“I don’t know, can you?” Despite knowing you were most likely red as a tomato, you couldn’t help but smirk a little.
He didn’t waste any time and immediately crashed his lips against yours. Your grip on his jacket tightened and you pulled him closer, if possible, against your body and closed your eyes, humming in satisfaction.
His lips felt like water after being in the desert for weeks. They were soft like velvet, yet he was kissing you so roughly you couldn’t even think.
You felt him start walking and suddenly your back was against the cold, stone wall. You let your hands wander and slipped your hands inside his jacket, feeling his toned arms and gripping his shoulders as he licked your bottom lip, deepening the kiss as you opened your mouth.
His hands slipped inside your shirt and he slid them up and down against your waist and hips, gripping them tightly as he moved his head to the crook of your neck and started kissing your jaw, slowly going down while leaving hot, wet kisses.
He kissed the spot near your collarbone and you sighed, your hands moving up to grip his hair and pull. You then felt him sink his teeth in that same spot and suck, making you gasp and moan softly. You felt him smirk against your skin and he came back up to kiss you again.
“Be my—” He spoke in between kisses. “Girlfriend?” And he kissed you again, your hands now roaming his back, seeing as you slipped them under his shirt.
“Fuck, yes.” You spoke, your voice an octave lower than normal. “Just shut up and kiss me.”
“Fucking finally,” Severus muttered, watching from a corner with your other Slytherin friends and the Marauders as you made out with Sirius.
For once, they actually agreed with him.
