it’s not my fault you don’t understand that she is literally a millennia-year old monster and can therefore NOT BE CONSIDERED A CHILD IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.  Not to mention she is, get ready for this one, cuz it’s gonna be a fucking doozy, A FICTIONAL CHARACTER!

It still amazes me how people’s minds work.

Do the creators of shooting games get called mass murderers? No.

Do the directors of movies with rape scenes get called rapists? No.

If the actress is 20 and portrays a 15 year old in a rape scene, are you a pedophile for watching the movie? No.

We all understand they’re fictional characters and fictional events, but you draw a fictional character who looks under a certain age and HOLY SHIT HERE COMES THE BULLSHIT!

So tell me, if i draw porn of Andy Milonakis, with his babyface, would i be a pedophile? If a woman or man has sex with him, are they instantly pedophiles? i mean everyone knows the dude is in his 40s, but according to the internet, looks is all that matters.

i get that it’s not for everyone, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and people will absolutely defend their opinion, because they’re certain that they’re right, but going out of your way to actively harass me via messages over it is just fucking dumb. i know people will claim i am attempting to justify myself, and no i’m not. the reason? there is nothing to justify. there is no crime. the (imaginary) character i drew is WAYYYYY Over 18, and not even human.

i think the cherry on top of the whole situation was going through some of the people’s blogs and finding that they liked some nsfw art of characters such as Raven from Teen Titans, who is canonically around 14-16 in her Teen Titans appearance. But they didn’t seem to have an issue with that, now did they? This is the prime reason i completely stopped giving a shit about people insulting me via posts and shit and never really addressed it. It’s the utter hypocrisy that makes it unbelievably stupid to the point that i couldn’t be fucked to take it seriously enough to even warrant a reply. That and these people are literally arguing that i am committing a crime by drawing an imaginary, monster who is older than the fucking countries most of us live in.

A free platform for adult artists. It’s a concept that almost anyone can get behind, but is constantly being compromised at every avenue there is.

It has become increasingly common for adult artists to have their accounts banned from social media, and for this reason I created baraag.net, a community that allows all artists to share their work without worries over TOS or laws requiring censorship. Baraag is a social network platform similar in appearance to Twitter, with the key difference in that it isn’t owned by any shareholders or a private company.

The platform runs on open-source software that connects the art community to the broader fediverse, where each site has users that can communicate across different domains using open web protocols. Someone from a totally separate site can follow or “retweet” users at baraag.net, similar to how e-mail accounts operate between many hosts.

My wish is that baraag.net will continue to serve as a permanent and safe community for artists of all genres. We can show the world that fictional adult works can be expressed freely and legally without fear of being terminated at the whim of corporate censorship.
