Perineal Tears (live performance) - january 2018
An audio performance where I tried to make the visual aspect secondary to the audio aspect. I wanted to do a live performance in which I create a story with my voice on the spot. Having relied a lot on visuality in previous projects I realized that my voice and the way I used it has always played a big part in everything I do. Whether it is music or acting or recording a voice over. In this project I wanted to dive deeper into the power of the voice and its possibilities by stripping away all other elements. Only leaving my voice and a supporting soundscape to tell the story. A story where even the words might be secondary to the melody and the sound of the voice.
