Tigerstar’s leader mark is a ginger throat stripe, which represents his father, Pinestar (who was more ginger brown) who left the clans to become a kittypet (hence it being around his throat since that’s where the collar goes).

Bluestar’s leader mark is a white crescent moon under her left eye which represents Moonflower (crescent moon) and Snowfur (white color).

WC - Leader Headcannon

Based on Gekkozilla’s headcannon, my headcannon is that leaders get a “leader mark”, which is some pattern change or color change or smth that shows that they’re now a leader. Unlike Gekko’s hc, mine is that the leader mark is super symbolic of their past, in some way, shape, or form. 

Example: Bluestar’s leader mark is a white crescent moon that symbolizes both Moonflower and Snowfur.

Firestar’s leader mark is a spiral, which symbolizes growth and evolution.

Tallstar’s leader mark is also a spiral, which is why he’s so friendly towards Firestar (also the whole Jake thing, but this is like a plus thing).
