Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge (2001) dir. Mary Lambert
First ink!! Lyrics are from a band called The Maine that I love with my whole heart. I had the opportunity to chat with them after their latest show in Minneapolis and @thefifthjohn wrote out this phrase in his handwriting for my tattoo. ☺️❤️ It’s been amazing hearing their music and ideas evolve since the old 2009 emo/scene kid era. It’s easy to tell that this band cares so much about their fans and shows so much appreciation and joy during their concerts. Thank you for being a part of my life and sharing your thoughts and sound with the world. Stay weird, make America emo again, and #youareok 👽🤘🖤 #themaine #nofilter #tattoo

“i’m in kind of a weird mental place right now” i say, as if there are times when i am not in a weird mental place

“Years ago a friend of mine had a dream about a strange invention; a staircase you could descend deep underground, in which you heard recordings of all the things anyone had ever said about you, both good and bad. The catch was, you had to pass through all the worst things people had said before you could get to the highest compliments at the very bottom. There is no way I would ever make it more than two and a half steps down such a staircase, but I understand its terrible logic: if we want the rewards of being loved we have to submit to the mortifying ordeal of being known.”
