Unfortunately Creators have little power over their own works. Really it's the corporations who have their say on the matter. Look at Alan Moore with Watchmen. DC comics is making a sequel against his wishes without him

I’m honestly kind of surprised Wander Over Yonder wasn’t as immediately popular as shows like Gravity Falls and SU were. I mean it was created by the original creator of the Power Puff Girls and Fosters Home for Imaginary friends. By all means it should have had this level of popularity from the get-go.

A) Disney is notorious for poorly advertising anything that isn't a franchise like Star Wars or is mega popular B) Fewer people own Disney XD (which is why Disney should have kept WOY and GF on Disney channel) C) Given these Disney related problems, I think because WOY started out without a season arc, it was hard to draw and keep new fans on a unpopular channel. Now imagine if this adventure of the week show appeared in CN. It would do pretty damn well because CN advertises their shows better and a lot of their shows have more than 2 seasons

i genuinely want to know what disney’s agenda is here.

if craig’s contract is still with disney, then why is disney cancelling wander over yonder in order to have him create a new show? isn’t it more work and more of a hassle to come up with a completely new concept/new ideas/new characters/etc for a new show than to just continue with what you already have?

it just doesn’t make any sense to me. what is the point of keeping a creator’s contract when you’re just going to shut down their shows after x seasons? when craig was with cartoon network, both the powerpuff girls AND foster’s home for imaginary friends got 6 seasons each.

Honestly though, Sony probably asked her to put in stupid unnecessary pop songs that would be dated in a year, awful references, and so on.

I hope she one day gets to work on a movie. But I wonder if she’s going to be back on TV. Maybe she might come back for WOY Season 3 :D

Boulder Media are looking for experienced animators to work on the fantastic Second Season of Wander Over Yonder!

The ideal candidate will have the skills and characteristics listed below:...

• Proven animation experience preferably on a long form animation series and although knowledge of Toonboom Harmony is a huge plus it is not a necessity • A strong grasp of the basic animation fundamentals and a great work ethic • Must be able to work to a weekly quota • Must have good creative vision and be detail orientated • Must be flexible, willing to learn and self-motivated • Be able to work within a Production Schedule • Must have good interpersonal skills

I wonder how many finished complete episodes are left now. At first I thought they were hiring for Season 3 but then I remembered the hiatuses and how long it took to finish Season 1 as well D: ... plus I re-read the post (”Second Season”) :V

How the heck can you say “we trust the writters 2k15”: the show didnt end, we know that bad thing are coming, they are the professionals, LET them tell the Story

That’s why you need to talk about it. Not attack them, but talk about the issue in the tag. It’s not the best cost effective way, but it’s better to lay down some divergent opinions and have a conversation before a fringe go out of control.

I can see both sides of the issue. As much as I liked this episode and the idea of Dom n Hater, and as much as I hope the writers will handle this well, I don’t want it to be an endgame ship. Plus I am gay. The LGBT community needs more representation in the media. We do not have equal representation. We’re starting to see a little of that in other places (The Legend of Korra, Steven Universe), but it gets really frustrating to see male-female couples all the time because there is just so much of it. If a girl had fallen for Dominator it would be a HUGE DEAL because that has never happened in a Disney cartoon EVER. A few people posting their frustration in the tag isn’t hate, unless they are insulting or bullying people.

I still like the show and the ship and I’m curious about where it’s going with this, but please let’s not fight over it. WOY is a great show but it isn’t perfect, and fans are allowed to disagree on things that are important to us.

The Tweetastrophe!

Hi folks!

I just wanted to point out that this Monday’s BRAND NEW Wander Over Yonder, “The Cool Guy/The Catastrophe,” also happens to be the first episodes written by our unbelievable new Season 2 writers, Todd Casey and Noelle Stevenson!  As I’ve mentioned before, Noelle and Todd brought 1110% of themselves not only into every script they wrote, but also every script this season, and the season as a whole.  These two were instrumental in the gloriousness that is/was/continues to be Season 2, and I’m so excited for you guys to see these eps.

And in celebration, we’re gonna live tweet the episode on Monday!  That’s right! Grown adults sitting in a room watching a cartoon, typing on devices, and not speaking to each other!  THE FUTURE IS NOW!
