"Don’t go that way." Josh’s voice was calm as he snuck behind the girl. "There’s no one you know and we don’t really like strangers in our graveyard."
He had been on his way to visit the graves, a bucket of warm water and a soft brush in his hand to lean them, when he saw her skulking around.
"Can I help you Miss?"
"I-I- shit, sorry, I'm. I'm Beth, I was just," she blinked and swallowed, looking down with a deep blush. "I was just. Looking for someone to talk to, I didn't mean..."
She blinked quietly, looking up at the boy. "You're a mutant, right? I... It's stupid, I should just go. It's really not important."
