“ It really makes my heart so happy to see them so happy , they love their daddy and are so happy to have him home with them, I don;t; think you’ll ever be able to leave them again” she laughed. The couple hadn’t had an intimate moment since being back together, partly because wanting their kids happy and having their moment with Grant and partly because she was still recovering from birth, but she just wanted something or anything from her husband at this point. “ A date you say? sounds interesting “ she smiled “ Wait… restaurants have places without kid menus still? I thought that was some kind joke the world was playing on me “

“Honestly being a girl dad is my favorite thing in the world, they all love their daddy and are just all daddy’s little princesses and I just want them to say this little forever,” Grant said as he wrapped an arm softly around Emily’s abdomen, taking another sip of his wine he kissed all over her cheek. “I thought it was some sick joke too but places out there actually don’t have a kids menu, wild right? I mean weird of them not to allow kids in there but at the same time I kinda like the idea of it, adults only fun,”

“ I would also like to think it’s only fair I get some attention now too right ?”She smiled getting comfortable before pouring the glasses of wine for them each and passing him his “ but not that I mind seeing you with our girls, they’ve missed you so much and seeing them have those huge smiles it worth it fully “ she said taking a sip . “ I just felt like we needed a little mommy and daddy moment , and with them all asleep seemed like the perfect moment to take it ‘ 

“I think it is, I agree with you a thousand percent,” Grant said taking the glass from Emily taking a sip from it “I know, those glowing little smiles on their faces when they wake up and I’m downstairs making their breakfasts, I don’t want them to ever know what it’s like without me again,” he said “I think mommy and daddy needed a moment to themselves too,” he said moving over by Emily kissing her shoulder “I need to take you out on a proper date night one night too, get all dressed up, enjoy a restaurant where they don’t have a kids menu,” he joked

It had felt so amazing to have Grant back home with her and all the girls, its the way it should have always been, and she hates that for so long it wasn’t. Not only did it kill her to not have him she knew it was hurting their kids so much, but the last week of him being home had been so amazing the girls not leaving him alone and getting all their big family time in, it hadn’t left much  room for Grant and Emily to be alone. So once the kids were all settled in, Emily had made sure to pump enough incase their new born needed it. She walked into the room holding a bottle of wine and two Glasses” So is it mommys turn to have Daddy all to herself for the night ?” she smiled sitting on the bed

Grant had finally settled back into their home, the home they shared once again and everything finally felt right. Most days he was spending time with his girls and making up for the lost time he missed out on. After showering he was settled into the bed and smiled when he watched Emily walk in “Well I would say that’s only fair isn’t it?” he said with a smile as he looked to his wife “all of the girls are finally all asleep at once and now i wanna be selfish too, since i feel like all my time has been with our lovely little ladies,”

“ I can’t blame you for not coming or trying, I wanted to so badly but I couldn’t bring myself to feel the rejection again if you didn’t want me , you’re my whole world” she said. “ Watching Grant she stood up and put the baby back in the carrier “ yeah my cars just out here, lets go i can’t wait to see the girls face in the morning when they see you” she said. “ maybe when we get home, and Eiffle goes to sleep .. you can just hold me ? I miss your arms 

“I wanted to a few times but then there were times where I was afraid you’d moved on in your life and you didn’t feel like I belonged in it anymore,” Grant said as he nodded his head “I can’t wait to see all of them when dad’s cooking breakfast in the morning,” he smiled “Of course I will, I missed wrapping my arms around you and just cuddling as close to each other as we could,” he said as he picked up his large suitcase and walked out of the house he was staying in. “I think I set everything up right so the door should lock behind us when we leave,”

Emily looked up to him “ I’ve beena a wreck without you, I’ve put on my best face and act like i’ve Been living my life and moving on with a new baby and all, but i haven’t nothing about me has been ok, I’ try to push foward for the girls all the time, but I couldn’t do it anymore” she said. “ no the girls don’t hate you, they miss you like crazy they talk about you all the time and always ask when you’re coming home, I’ve been telliing them you’ve been staying with a friend who really needs your help” she said. Nodding her head she smiled “ lets go, I wanna go home with you, I need you to come home “

“I should’ve reached out sooner than this but I’m just ready to start this new chapter in our lives, nothing makes me happier than having you back in my life,” Grant said as he got up and stuffed a few things back in his suitcase and grabbed it. “Well they’re gonna have daddy again and so is mommy, no more leaving,” he said as he leaned against the suitcase. “I assume you drove? I took an uber here so I don’t have my car,” he chuckled

“ trust me saying Rickards felt weird again, Thats the old me . I’m a Gustin and theres nothing going to ever change that again, I’m always and forever yours: Emily said. “ I love hearing you say ‘Our” I still get butterflies when we’re together” she said. Looking down and abck up she sighed “ You’re not mad?” she asked “That I kept her from you? She does have your nose, and Smile , When she was born I could instantly see the Gustin her , looked just like Raven when she was born, I  only kept it a secret because I was scared, that if I told you it would feel like I was trying to trap you “

“Well now you get to say Gustin again, you’re a Gustin for the rest of your life because you are stuck with me for good this time,” Grant said with a smile “I’m yours forever and always,” he said and couldn’t help the tears that came from his eyes “Don’t mind me in the slightest, I just have been going on all these months acting like I didn’t need anyone but now that I have you again I just feel like I can finally be me again,” he said with a chuckle “She’s so little, oh god do the girls hate me for all this absent dad stuff? fuck, I feel so bad,” he said “What do you say we get the hell outta here? Go home where I belong, where we belong?”

“ yes, A million times yes Grant, Emily Gustin is who I am and I can’t think of not having it anymore” she said. “ you need to come home , to your bed, you’re closet , i need you to be my husband again “ she said.Emily took a deep breath “ Uhm, its” she paused moving the hair out of her face” She’s yours Grant , she’s your daughter and I am so sorry I didn’t tell you 

“It was honestly weird seeing you use Rickards again on social media, I was like wait a minute, I think Gustin sounds more like her but I might be biased,” Grant said with a chuckle “Baby, I’m coming home, coming home to you, to the girls, to our bedroom, to our house,” Grant said moving closer to her. “I understand why you didn’t tell me, I thought she kinda had my nose but you did it all alone and I feel terrible, I would’ve been there for you,” he said “I swear I will be though from this point on,”

“So I’m going to ask if you’d do me the honors of taking my last name again,” Grant said with a smile “I’ve been living out of suitcases, that’s not how I want to live anymore, I want to be home with my girls, every single one of them,” he said with a smile “so you do know who the father is? if you don’t mind me asking, who is he?”

Emily looked to the male as he moved his ring “ It’s not the same without you home with us, our home is empty and the girls are happy but their not as happy as they once were I know it. “ the female said.tear started to pile in her eyes as he said he was coming home “ You are? you’re coming home,?” she asked  “ i can’t explain to you how that makes me feel, so much weight was just lifted off my shoulders, but I have something else I need to say to you before you make your last decision because this may change it all for you again” she said looking down to her daughter 

“We never officially got divorced, did we?” Grant asked “I’m coming home, no matter what,” the male said as he looked at Emily as he shifted his eyes down to the baby “I know she isn’t mine, Em, that doesn’t bother me, I’ll raise her like she’s my own daughter, won’t be treated any different,” he said looking at little confused “It honestly doesn’t change my opinion,”

Emily listened to the male speak, what he said made her stomach do flips, did he miss her like she missed him. A smile crept on her face softly “ i know.. I know I fucked up Grant I know I ruined everything but I can’t do this without you anymore, I love you so much and I can’t be me without you, you’re the half that makes me whole, my home, my heart, my everything and I will do anything to prove that to you everyday for the rest of my life,” she said.  Looking up as he lifted the chain up to reveal his ring , a small sigh of relief fell from her mouth. “ I couldn’t either mines  , as stupid as it sounds is still here” she said lifting her hand to show her ring, she couldn’t bring herself to ever take it off.”

Grant took the chain off of his neck and took the ring sliding it back on his ring finger. “I know mistakes were made but I’m over being mad, I’m over holding this grudge against Stephen too, I’m just being mad, it’s literally not something I can do, it changes me and I hate it who it makes me,” he said “I want to have you back in my arms, I want to wake up to that cute little smile, I want to wake up to our daughters piling up on us, I miss the beautiful chaos of getting them ready, I can’t give you up, Emily and I need you to survive, so I guess what I’m saying is I’m coming home, coming home to you, to the girls, to our life,”

“ I uh” she started “ This has been weighing heavy on my chest from the moment you walked out the door “ the blonde said “ I miss you Grant I .. i can’t even put into words the amount of hurt I feel looking over to your side of the bed to not see you there, Waking up in the morning to our daughters and putting on a brave face for them, I’ve lost everyone I care about but most importantly you, I feel like i’m not a complete person without you Grant, that I don’t know how to breath without you” 

Grant soaked in every word he heard Emily say, he nodded his head and sighed, sometimes Grant was at a loss for words, it didn’t happen often. “You know it’s like some twist of fate that you showed up today because when I woke up I could’ve sworn I smelled that lotion or serum or whatever it’s called that you use at night time for your face, it smells like citrus,” he chuckled “I don’t know how to be me without you, it’s like a functioning part of me just left when you weren’t in my life anymore,” he said “As stupid as this sounds I couldn’t even fully part with my wedding band,” he said lifting the chain fully out of his shirt.

“ I know, you’re so lucky I was your baby factory’ she laughed nervously, she had been hiding so much from Grant but has  been so scared of doing anything. . “ Oh yeah I can feel to that, well after the babies are all asleep and i’m not trying to clean the house “ she said. Hearing her daughter start to cry the female stood up and got the baby out of the car seat “ So I uh. I wanted to come talk to you about somethings”

Truth be told, saying those words hurt him more than he was showing, he looked at the woman with her daughter and nodded. “Of course yeah, what’s on your mind Em?” the man said as he played with the chain around his neck twirling it around on his finger anxiously.
