Obsidian Legacy

So recently i started my own Path Of Titans community server with the help of some close friends. We've gotten all the testing out of the way by this stage so the server is done.

Our aim is to create a community where everyone feels welcome, can enjoy themselves, have fun and perhaps even make lasting friendships. While new to the Path Of Titans community servers, we hope to grow over time and are always willing to listen to feedback on things we can change to improve our server.

Currently the server is semi-realism based, with easy to follow rules that can act as a guide for those both new to Path Of Titans, and those returning, all of which are found in our discord server.

We have customized Impact Crater, Grand Plains and Green Valley to make these areas feel less open. Additional bushes have been placed throughout Grand Plains to offer both the perfect ambush spot, but also good hiding spots for herbivores needing a moment to catch their breath and regain some much needed stamina.

Edible trees have been placed down in both Grand Plains and Green Valley for herbivores large enough to reach them.

Quests grant a decent amount of marks as well as growth, both of which can always be modified to give more or less if suggested enough.

Each tier of dinosaur has specific growth times, all of which can be found in our discord server under the herd and pack limits.

We offer in game teleports to four locations as of right now. Salt Flats, Savanna Grasslands Darkwoods and Red Island.

Nesting is also enabled through our discord server, with easy to follow tutorials in place to make it easier for people to create a nest.

We do want to add more features in the future should we feel the server could do with them. Though as we are currently still in the process of growing our community, we want to keep things simple for the time being. The pictures attached are of some of the changes we've made to Impact Crater and Grand Plains.

I really do hope people will consider checking us out and giving our new server a chance.

One thing I dont like the fandom doing (and I've seen bkdks do this the most) is that they act like deku can't exist without bakugo. Like if bakugo were to die here then deku automatically can't go on living anymore and can no longer be a hero apparently, like come on lol. Ship whatever you want, but that's a disservice to deku's character.

I don't think that Deku wouldn't be able to move on from the loss in normal circumstances.

But if you think about it in this specific case:

The entire remaining heroes came together and put everything on the line to help Deku

His job was to get down the right portal

He got yanked away by a teenager with no strength enhancement and wasted precious time arguing about the perfect date

While his "closest person" got tortured and fought in his stead and died because... Deku wasn't there.

I repeat:

DIED BECAUSE DEKU WASN'T THERE

Deku, who inherited the will and power of the greatest hero, whose motto was "I am here" loses his friend because he wasn't there.

I would expect him to be pretty fucked up about that ship or no ship. What I don't expect is for Deku to tell us in a chirpy voice how he became the "greatest hero" over the bloody, disrespected corpse of his childhood friend.

It just doesn't feel right in terms of tone.

Another reason why I don't think Bakugou is dead.

You know how Horikoshi likes to wrap up serious situations with comedy? I think this is one of those scenes. At first people laugh that Izuku ignored Katsuki cause it looks like a gag..but that’s not like Izuku at all is it? Izuku NEVER does this. He always praises Katuski, gives him a warm, encouraging smile, indulges in his little bragging.. so what was so different about this particular moment that made Izuku so out of character? I believe there is only one explanation.

ESPECIALLY given that Katsuki nearly died for him earlier. And that’s the problem here. The cluster move was activated when Katsuki sacrificed himself to protect Izuku. Izuku, not ready to think about it or be reminded that he almost lost his Kacchan, changes the topic. Trauma. This whole event destroyed him and that’s why he just dissociated when Katsuki started talking about his cluster move. We can see how it all affected Izuku.. and how big of a shock, pain and trauma this was for him just by looking at these panels.

Repressed memories are a sign of trauma.. Izuku doesn’t remember or didn’t even hear what Katsuki told him because he just witnessed the one person he can’t imagine a world without, sacrificing his life.. for him. His whole world ended in that one moment..

Horikoshi is great at writing and conveying emotions and this of all moments.. was NOT the time for Izuku to just ignore Katsuki’s excited talk about his new move for the sake of a gag. It’s the fact that Izuku almost lost Katsuki in the exact moment his cluster activated, that made Izuku not want to think about it, look away and change the topic.. he looks quite distraught to me..
