WATCH THIS IF YOU WANT TO. I MEAN YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUT LIKE
[I still owe gomibakos a starter and I'll get to it, I promise!]
hey guys, this is a new and independent OC RP blog, and I need more people to interact and follow, so please can you reblog this if you´re okay with interactions with a OC? I will check your blog and depending of a few little things, follow you.
Also, if you already follow me, can you signal boost this?
[Is it cheating to use Piper for every single starter? Because it's happening.]
It had been a fairly typical - fairly slow - day for Kohaku. Though he had errands to run and chores to do, he had been a horrible person and put them off for as long as he could. He’d returned home only briefing to retrieve his cap, which he’d stupidly forgotten in his rush to leave. It was probably equally stupid to come back for it, but it didn’t feel right to not wear it.
He had almost gotten ready to leave once again when he was greeted with the sight of a small white dog excitedly dancing in place on the floor of his living room. Kohaku didn’t hate dogs, especially small ones, but they did make him feel uncomfortable. He stands still in a slight confusion at how this animal could have ever made it’s way into his home before a man (presumably her owner) barges inside as well.
What a brilliant start to the day.
When there was no answer, Daedallus could only come to one conclusion: there was no one home. He hesitated only a moment longer, on the off chance that the apartment's occupant was sleeping on the couch or something. But he was pretty good at sneaking in and out of places, so maybe he'd get lucky.
Of course, Daedallus always over-thought stuff like this. If no one answered his knock, there was probably no one home. With that thought in his head, Dae eased the door open further, and stepped into the apartment.
The first thing he noticed was that there was indeed someone home. And the second thing he noticed was that someone did not appear to be a dog person.
"Um. Hi. Sorry, the door was open and I knocked but... I didn't think anyone was home," It was a terrible excuse, of course, because even if no one was home, he shouldn't have entered the apartment. If he were in the other's shoes, he'd be pissed.
"I'll just... take her and go..." he mumbled, completely embarrassed by the situation. "Piper, come here."
Piper had other ideas. The small fluffy puppy seemed completely set on meeting the person she had never met before, as if it were her mission in life to say hello to as many people as she possibly could. She ran up to him, tail wagging like crazy, and pounced on his shoe laces.

Piper had this interesting habit of running away.
That's probably the reason Daedallus had ended up with the little white dog in the first place, so he wasn't exactly ungrateful. And it wasn't like she was trying to get away from him. She was still a puppy, and she didn't know her name yet. So if she saw something interesting, she would run after it.
Still, Daedallus was quickly getting tired of chasing her down the street.
Today, though, she had gotten quite the head start and had actually made it out of his apartment complex, and into the next one over. He followed her as best as he could, always catching sight of her fluffy tail as she darted around corners. He was so close to catching her...
And then she turned and darted through an open door, into someone's apartment.
Daedallus stopped at the door, frowning. There was no way he was going to walk into someone's apartment if they were home. He hesitated a moment, then sighed. This was probably going to be awkward. Dae raised a hand and knocked on the open door, calling out, "Hello? Is anyone home?"

Just when you think the situation can't get any worse, it starts to rain.
Daedallus, probably a miserable sight to see at the moment, was huddled beneath the awning just outside a small book store. Just a few minutes before, it had been bright and sunny, with just a cool breeze rustling the trees. Dae had been out walking his dog when the rain had hit.
Well, in his eyes, it was more like a torrential downpour of ice water.
Dae had scooped up his dog-- who, in the mere seconds between this action and the next, had become six pounds of sopping wet-- and ran for the nearest store he could find. Which, as his luck would have it without much surprise, was closed.
"Wonderful," he growled, probably a bit too loud. But the one thing he hated more than waiting was getting wet, so Daedallus sighed and leaned against the wall. Maybe it would be a short storm.
Like for a starter
Like for a starter with Dae, open to anyone. Just trying to get more involved and meet new people!
Reblog if you are a role-play blog who is willing to role-play with the following:
canon & oc & multi-character.
Does Dae prefer cold or hot weather? [~cxnidae)
Hot weather! Daedallus is the most miserable creature on the planet during the winter. If he doesn’t have to be somewhere, you will probably find him in his coyote form, curled up under a mountain of blankets.
When Dae is in his coyote form, does he actually hunt and kill other animals? [~cxnidae)
He used to. Dae lived in the wild for about a year, and spent most of that time in his coyote form. He hunted for his food then. But since moving back into the human world, he generally does not hunt. Every once in a while, he will go back into the forest and practice his hunting skills, just in case he ever needs to do it to survive.
Has Dae ever wanted to potentially harm someone?
Yes, and he has. He tends to be more aggressive in his coyote form, and he has attacked and bitten people, usually while defending himself or another animal who is being abused.
In his human form, he does not tend to start fights. He will finish them if the other person does not back down, but Daedallus never wants or intends to hurt them.
Hello people of townsville. I’m a mun of a female OC and I’m looking for people to RP with. Heterosexual muses, homosexual muses Male, female, trans, somewhere inbetween- I don’t care. AU friendly, OC friendly. If this applies you please reblog this, My dash is slow and this is a notice for a follow spree. Mutuals if you could help a fellow rper out, I’d be grateful.
A gentle smile spread across her face, she chuckled. But Maria could feel herself shudder of delight. It was uncertain what she had liked the most; his comment about ‘not having a job’ or the simple fact that he so casually blurted that out on their own will. Such a pathetic dog…so cute.
❝Now now, I only asked what were you doing, not for reasons to pity you, silly!❞ The nature of her words didn’t match with such sweet voice she spoke with, but that was nothing new when it came to the farmer. Couldn’t be helped, specially not now that they got her in such good mood. So nice. ❝—-It’s alright. You can skip rocks all you want, I was just curious.❞
"Oh no, I wasn't..." Dae let himself trail off. There was no reason to defend his not-having-a-job to a total stranger. He was only trying to be funny. Though, he was learning more and more that he was most definitely not as funny as he thought he was. Instead of finishing his sentence, Daedallus just shrugged, and let it go.
"I wouldn't call what I'm doing exactly 'skipping rocks'," Dae admitted, and, as if to prove his point, threw a rock out toward the river. It sank the second it touched the water's surface. "... Because I am exceptionally awful at it," he added, with a slight smirk.
"I'm Daedallus, by the way."
cxnidae:
This day was one of the slowest he had worked in a long time. Only two dogs have been scheduled, and hours apart at that, leaving him to wait around for a painfully wasteful amount of time in between appointments. He was reading a story on his phone when the chime of the door brought him to attention. “I’m going well, thank you for asking.” He welcomed the man with a small smile, turning his attention almost immediately to the small creature in his arms.
”How cute.” He mused, reaching out a hand for the dog’s approval. “I can definitely fit you in today, do you mind telling me about her? What would you like done?”
Most groomers took the simple approach and had clients fill out paperwork on their dog, while Ando followed protocol and did the same, he preferred to get to know the dog in person rather than read it’s personality from a chart.
"Um, I don't know," Daedallus admitted after a moment's pause. This whole situation was a bit weird to him. "I've never had a small dog like this. But she's kind of matted and I think she's supposed to be white, so I guess do whatever you have to."
Dae set her up on the counter-- partly because he was starting to feel a little silly holding her but mostly because she started squirming excitedly-- and she immediately stumbled over every item on the desk to go say hello to Ando with a wagging tail.
"I don't know much about her, I've only had her a few days," Daedallus admitted. "But I think she's just a puppy, and she's obviously very friendly. Her name is Piper, by the way."
cxnidae
Daedallus was happy there was a grooming shop close to his new apartment, partly because he could walk to it, and partly because it drastically decreased the chance of running into the one person he did not want to brag to about his new dog.
Well. She wasn't really his just yet. But so far, all his efforts to find the owner had failed. And he'd named her already, so there was almost no chance he was going to give her up.
Dae pushed open the door to the groom shop, holding his fluffy little dog to his chest. He could imagine it was a strange sight, seeing him carrying this tiny 6 pound dog. She had a pink collar on and everything. Fortunately, Daedallus was born with ability to not give a shit. He walked up to the counter.
"Hi, there, how are you?" It was always good to be polite to the people who would be taking care of something important to you. "Do you have room in the schedule to get this little one cleaned up?"
