hey there, jazi here, the person behind daffy.
just wanted to officially close the chapter that has ended long ago. first of all, i would like to say hi to whoever gets to see this post. i am no longer in contact with many of the people with whom i had roleplayed and interacted with on the argo 3 group. all of us (the roleplay blogs) are either inactive or completely deleted.
i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was part of it and participated. i cant name all of you as i dont remember your blog users behind the blog, im sorry for that. i also doubt you'll ever find this, but here i am, all sappy and sentimental
it's been almost two years since, but i still remember the thrill and excitement every time i get a notification from a character. it genuinely felt like a big friend group, and i got to bring life to daffy and a few other argo 3 ocs.
i had such an amazing time during this roleplay group. there have been multiple attempts to revive this specific group, but i feel as if the pjo roleplay group has admittedly died down recently, including outside the argo 3 - it wouldnt be the same. still, i have so many more fond memories. thank you also to the followers who simply watched the lives of the next gen demigods from the sidelines - i hope we'd provided a good laugh.
special thank you to @the-real-localburntoutkid for being my co-pioneer. he created the concept of a roleplay group with me through dms and shouldered the path of making it a reality. thank you for being my favorite roleplay partner, and the mod of daffy's one and only <3
welp, there goes.
this is daphne solace-di angelo, signing off. cceanvvaves
Charlie's messy mop of dark hair appears before her face does, then the rest of her body as she vaults herself through Daphne's window with the grace of an overly grown guinea pig.
"Heya, Daph! Guess who it is. The love of your life! I missed ya!"
@chasing-that-jackson
(it's been so long omg)
"The door exists, Charls." Daphne deadpans, barely looking up through the reading glasses perched on the bridge of her nose. Yes, her heart started to beat extremely and annoyingly fast the moment Charlie's shoes hit her bedroom floor, but she did her best to ignore it. "But sure. I missed you too.."
"Ya know, I could just leave if you aren't going to appreciate my efforts to woo you," she said, even as she made her to her bed and picked Daphne's reading glasses off her nose.
"Hey!" Daphne's hand shoots out to grab Charlie's wrist, harshly pulling her back down onto the bed and throwing a leg over her waist. "Give me my glasses back, prisoner."
"I wouldn't mind staying here like this, actually," Charlie raises her eyebrows. "Especially by a book-reading, glass-wearing, duck-named, bastard hottie."
"You were on the right track until you said 'duck-named'." She lightly kicks the other girl but stays nonetheless.
"Right, now I'm realising it kinda sucks to be looking up at you when I'm so used to being tall," she smirked, grabbing her waist and throwing her off onto the bed and immediately getting up, "And these," gesturing with the glasses, "are mine now."
"I'm calling my dads and Oliver and I'll tell them you're annoying me," Daphne threatens, poking her girlfriend's stomach.

"...hey, charlie. Do you wanna, um.. get ice cream with me?"

(ooc: OH GODS I'VE BEEN SO INACTIVE)
"Daph! Hey. Yeah, yeah- I'd love to. Excuse the get up-- I was training." Charlie grinned, gesturing at herself. She was wearing a cropped sleevless sports shirt and cargo pants, and her hair was open and shorter than normal, with her blue dyed streaks back in full swing.
"I see you've gone through some... changes." Daphne's eyebrows raised, impressed. "Are you free to go now, or..?"
"Yeah. Kinda needed a change." She said, grinning her trademark Jackson Troublemaker smile. "Yeah, but I need to change- want to come over? We can go from there!"
"Yeah, alright. It's been a while since I've seen Aunt and Uncle, anyway."
"Kayy, lemme just find Thalassa and we can leave!" She grinned, running quickly across the arena and retrieving her trident, which coincidentally also looks different. The usually light teal color seemed to have changed to a much darker gradient of blues, and the tips seemed a lot sharper than before. "Let's make like a tree," Charlie chuckled, "And leave!"
"That joke sucked," Daphne elbows her playfully. "Like you. You suck."
"ouch, you wound my feelings. It's all Dad, actually. He's been going crazy over dad jokes this week and you know how much time i spend with him." Charlie snorts fondly, pushing Daphne's elbow away.
"Try imagining what it would be like with two dads. Though, I'm lucky. Papa almost never makes dad jokes."
"Yeah, I can see. Everytime I come over he's just...menacingly side-eyeing me." She laughs. "So, Daph. You asking me out on a date? Hmm? Simple Ol' me?"
"Ew, no, loser." Daphne stays silent for a moment. "...yeah I'm asking you out."
"I feel like thats your default response to everything I say," Charlie laughs. "You know, I can't blame you. I'm slaying this new look."
"It's not my fault your face is stupidly punchable. And kissable but punchable more so."
"Aw, you think my face is kissable! Well, why don't you give me one then, hm?"
Daphne punches Charlie straight in the gut - and then pulls her down for a kiss as she doubles over in pain.
"HEY- mmph!" Charlie stiffness for a moment, before pulling Daphne close. A minute later she pulls away, breathing heavy and face red. "Was the punch really necessary? Fiesty, aren't you?"
"Things are sweeter when you work for it," Daphne shrugs.
"I doubt you'll ever be sweet to me. I don't mind, though "
"Okay, masochist. Gods, you're so whipped." She rolls her eyes playfully.
"...hey, charlie. Do you wanna, um.. get ice cream with me?"
