also when i say everyones art style is unique to them no matter the range i think this tweet is genuinely unironically a perfect example showcasing that
they all watched that tutorial together and yet every richard is different and unique. your art is still yours. do not worry about keeping up a "consistent art style" it will come to you
Whenever I say some cool crazy shit the most normal guy on the planet goes “is he high?”
No I am not. The black mold may contribute to certain behaviors.
Ok J.K. Rowling
The black mold contributes to brain fog and respiratory problems, being a transphobe comes from within. Do not blame the black mold for her behavior.

gay people finding subtextual gay relationships in media: wow! this is fun! if they're "just friends" why are they looking at each other like that am I right
someone, every single time: so you're saying that platonic relationships aren't important? you're saying that friendships can't be deep and meaningful? fuck you fuck you f
“you’re so funny” thanks no one wanted to play with me as a little kid so i’ve been scheming like a criminal ever since to make them love me and make it seem effortless
Just out of college I worked as a bank teller. That job was soul crushing, but this isn't about that.
I had a coworker about my age. Her husband worked in a manufacturing position. He claimed (but never confirmed) his coworkers were undocumented immigrants. He swore that they didn't pay taxes and his wife believed him. I tried explaining to her that a few small companies might be able to get away with paying people under the table, but not a large manufacturing business like the one he worked at. I explained payroll taxes to her and how the company would not grossly underreport the number of employees because the first time they got audited they would be shut down, and this place was a major brand. She refused to believe me that those workers paid any taxes, up until one of them came to our branch to open an account. Then she saw his paystub and was really confused that he had taxes withheld, so I explained how IF this man was undocumented, the system had too much to worry about to chase down one guy cashing a check. She was floored by the revelation.
The "illegal immigrants are getting benefits and social security" is one of the oldest and most believed lies from the right.
give it up for bread with soup
homeschooling in the US needs to be regulated but this is one of those conversations that immediately gets crushed by extremist conservatives and even well-meaning liberals will pipe up to be like "well some homeschooling is good!" when that's absolutely not relevant. regulation will not change anything for the homeschooling families who are serious about their children's education. the people who need to be regulated are the fringe extremists
the lack of regulation is so bad that according to the coalition for responsible home education 11 states don't even require parents to tell anyone they intend to homeschool and 18 more only require a notice of intent. after that there is nothing the state can do to ensure that the children are actually learning or even being cared for
don't bring up the good homeschoolers when the bar is so low that "requiring all parents nationwide to submit a notice of intent to homeschool" would be an improvement. the good homeschoolers are already doing things that are this simple and reasonable. we are not talking about them when we say things should be regulated
