Goslingverse Family Tree
Ugh. I was trying to keep track of my Goslingverse AU relationships and gave up because my brain isn't that big. So here's what I put together as a graphic for who's related to who and how. Comment if you like, adapt to your own AU if you like (I can send you the draw.io file), and/or enjoy as it is.
The character notes are as follows. There's two lines to it:
Gentry Line
Mother died early in questionable circumstances
Father abused Courtland heavily
Killed when he started on the twins Courtland Gentry (The Gray Man)
Original paternal surname
Original abuse victim
Protected his brothers until he couldn't
Killed their father
Jailed, taken out into Sigma program Dr. Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary)
Changed his name from "Gentry" to "Grace" at age 18
Visited Courtland until he was recruited
Didn't find out why Courtland disappeared until later Colt Seavers (The Fall Guy)
Changed his name from "Gentry" to "Seavers" at age 20
Knew what Courtland did but didn't visit him
Found out Courtland had been recruited and renewed contact Jared Vennett (The Big Short) Line
"Uncle" to the all the boys
Taught them the shady side of money Sebastian Wilder (La La Land)
Changed his name from "Vennett" to "Wilder" mid 20s
Roomed with Colt in LA when they were both getting started
Keeps in touch sporadically, more so with Colt
No idea what Courtland did, where he is Jacob Palmer (Crazy, Stupid, Love)
Had the nice father for a while
Player: taught Courtland, tried to teach Grace, didn't need to teach Colt The Driver (Drive)
No idea who is father is, raised by the Gentry mother (bad)
Doesn't feel like a part of the family and keeps his distance
Jared taught him some things about how to do his business, thinking it was on the level-ish
Colt taught him about how to fix cars
