She is the power of Mother Earth, the most important symbolic goddess in the world, where humans have learned to live in harmony with each other and the world.

(ENG) Inspired by the images of the earliest human cults, Mokia was created. Like most of the oldest artifacts discovered through archaeology, she is a personification of Mother Earth and, alongside the generosity of nature, represents the need for harmony with oneself and the world—that is, not harming any being—similar to thousands of years-old traditions in Buddhism and Hinduism. The figure of the symbolic goddess herself was inspired by, among others, the mysterious Slavic Mokosh and other personifications of nature, which gives all life. Musically, it was the first track created for the album "Godeonia," and its more ethnic and ritualistic sound reveals the first idea for the sound direction of the entire album.

(PL) Z inspiracji wyobrażeniami pierwszych kultów człowieka, powstała Mokia. Podobnie jak większość najstarszych odnalezionych przez archeologię artefaktów, jest personifikacją Matki Ziemi i prezentuje obok szczodrości natury ideę potrzeby współgrania ze sobą i światem czyli nie krzywdzenia żadnej istoty, podobną do istniejących od tysięcy lat nurtów m.in w Buddyźmie czy Hinduiźmie. Sama postać symbolicznej boginii była inspirowana m.in postacią tajemniczej słowiańskiej Mokosz i innych personifikacji natury, która daje wszelkie życie. Muzycznie był to pierwszy utwór jaki powstał dla płyty "Godeonia" a jego bardziej etniczne i rytualne brzmienie, zdradza pierwszy zamysł na kierunek brzmienia dla całego albumu.

The story of the extraordinary journey to the island of Godeonia continues.
After the rigors of a months-long voyage ("Ingressus" video) and the pleasant surprise of the natives' philosophy ("Godeonia" video), it's time to explore the great island.
This stage of the story inspired the album's third track, "Expedition." While exploring many incredible places, Captain Hugo also learns the truth about what people could be guided by if they wanted to make the world a better place. Places of power, temples, and gods are merely symbolic reminders of what truly matters.
A new video is currently in the works, combining familiar scenes with new ones in a slightly different format... I invite you to listen to this instrumental track, and we'll be back with more news soon! :) Thanks for your support!
Godeonia - Places of Power, windmills and Mysterious Circles.
(Eng) The Godeonians attribute the construction of these mysterious monolithic circles to their ancestors, but it is unknown who created them and why. They were adapted as places of worship for the all-powerful goddess Mother Earth, Mokia. Within the stone circles, the dance of priests and priestesses, and all comers, is a joyful celebration of nature's gifts and a thanksgiving for all.
Places of power are also giant trees that have been growing for thousands of years, sometimes creating entire forests connected by a common root system.
The ubiquitous windmills on the outskirts of cities are used to grind grain and preserve an important plant called "Lamiru." Thanks to this high-calorie food, the ancestors of the Godeonians were able to abandon animal cruelty. In this world, no creature is used for food or traction. Captain Hugo was initially astonished by this, but later came to love the ubiquitous goodness and wisdom of this land.

Zaadaptowano je na miejsca kultu wszechpoteznej bogini Matki Ziemi czyli bogini Mokia. W kamiennych kręgach taniec kapłanów i kapłanek oraz wszystkich chętnych, jest radosnym uczczeniem darów natury i podziękowaniem za wszystko.
Miejsca mocy to także gigantyczne drzewa rosnące od tysięcy lat, niekiedy tworzące całe lasy połączone wspólnym systemem korzeniowym.
Wszechobecne wiatraki na obrzeżach miast, służą do mielenia ziarna i przetrwarzania ważnej rośliny zwanej "Lamiru". Dzięki niej wysokokaloryczne pożywienie ułatwiło odejście przodków godeończyków od krzywdzenia zwierząt. W tym świecie nie wykorzystuje się żadnej istoty ani jako pożywienia ani tez jako siły pociągowej. Kapitan Hugo był tym początkowo zdumiony ale później pokochał wszechobecne dobro i mądrość tego kraju.

(Pl) Dziś podzielę się z Wami zdjęciami i screenami z nowego teledysku. Godeonia to całe uniwersum, świat, który prawdopodobnie niebawem zyska bogaty opis także w formie osobnej strony internetowej. Ubiór mnicha symbolizuje tu filozofię życia. W Godeonii nikt nie zadaje cierpienia drugiemu człowiekowi ani żadnej istocie. Godeończycy skupili się na świadomości, którą tak naprawde każdy ma już w sobie. Wiemy, że nie chcemy krzywdzić, wierzyć w pojecie wroga czy żyć kosztem słabszych (ludzi i zwierząt). Wszystko jest możliwe a wopowieści o Godeonii zmaterializowało się już w postaci pięknego nowego świata w którym kapitan Hugo zapragnął pozostać już na zawsze.

GOTARD 'Ingressus" new music video! - The beginning of an extraordinary journey…
(Eng) "Ingressus" is Latin for "beginning" or "entrance." It is the album's introduction and symbolic beginning of a journey into the unknown, filled with courage, hope, and self-confidence. The song was initially intended to be much shorter and instrumental only, but like many other tracks on the album, it evolved over time, also gaining vocals from J.K.Gotard. In this context, the short, minimalist lyrics signify a new entrance, a courageous attitude of someone who sets out into the unknown, exchanging fears for a positive, hopeful thought about their destination. The music video alludes to the beginning of the written story of Godeonia. S.I.Lamia and S.A.Darkgrace also took part in the clips played the roles of good spirits/goddesses of the ocean.

The new album is a musical tale about the discovery of an alternative world in which people have learned to interact with each other and the world in true harmony. The album contains 14 tracks presenting various corners of world music inspired by early sounds, melodic and sometimes lilting electronica, tribal beats, and calmer, more uplifting melodic motifs. The individual titles refer to places and events from the story of Godeonia that inspired the music. Today, Gotard also celebrates its 20th birthday!
GODEONIA – A short tale of a journey to a better world (free bonus book)
The great white cliffs glistening in the light of the setting sun were a long-awaited miracle for the captain and his crew after many months of difficult sailing. Godeonia turned out to be a surprising alternative world where social life was governed by rules different from those he knew. Respect for nature and all living things manifested itself here in a philosophical trend called Mokonism by the traveler, named after the almighty goddess, the personification of Mother Earth. In the lives of the islanders, spiritual development had a completely different dimension than the one he knew from his homeland. Exploring the beauty of this world, he delved into the secrets of the natives' way of thinking, understanding and accepting their view of the world more and more with each passing day. Godeonia is a story about the will to escape from everything that causes pain and discord, even if it has grown to the rank of tradition. It is a world in which people have learned to be truly free and happy.
