            Alright, so… plans. We need some.

Um, I can sneak past the first cameras and guards, I did a few hours ago to get food.

Perfect. If you say we can trust them then I believe you. I’m beginning to doubt that the Puppeteer is in here with us & no one seems to be a huge fan of the police at this point.

He isn't. I know he isn't. He is smarter than that, he will wait.

[She shakes her head]

            There are probably staff members in the staff room. There’s no connection in this place, either, so that’s also gonna be a problem.  The cop’s won’t be a problem, all we have to do is distract them or knock them out or something.

Oh, I-I guess...

            Yeah, but we’ve also got the cops and security cameras to worry about. My guess is they’ve stationed at least two cops by every exit, and all the cameras are on 24/7, to make sure nobody tries anything stupid.

The cameras are easy. I could shut them down or put them on repeat from the staff room, or we just block them. I know some of the cops and they aren't very observant. I know it will be hard but there is a way around it, I mean I don't wanna be sneaking around. I am light on my feet and can hide but... The best I can do is get to the courtyard and staff room.

That’ll be beneficial. If you & Nora can get to the courtyard, Aurora & I can can try & get to the gym. That way, if we do find anything, we can relay to the other groups.

That sounds good. I know a way to the courtyard which avoids the guards and officers. The groups close to us are good people too, they should be able to help.

            We just have to figure out how to get out of here.

Well, it isn't actually that hard... I mean, we are so close to so many exits but we need information first.

[She laughs softly]

            Well he won’t be an outsider for long. He’s gonna find a way in and us bein’ in these little group has just made it ten times easier for him to pick us off one by one.

Exactly, that is why I want to get out of here, I was safer with Dmitri.

I think you’re right. They may have thought in the beginning that this was helpful but it’s well past that now. Now we’re four strangers about to hopefully find something out. What do you say?

I think we should try whatever we can to work it out. I might be able to get into the courtyard without being seen if I must help. I know my mom was friends with an officer here and he is like family so perhaps he could help us.

            No fucking idea. Wouldn’t mind finding out, though.

It would be nice to know. A-Although I feel th-that the killer isn't here... I th-think he might be an outsider.

It’s very nice to meet you as well, Dahlia. Very much so. There’s definitely something they aren’t telling us & I have a feeling it’d be better for us to find out rather than be kept in the dark.

I- I just don't understand why they would coop us up like this. There is no point to it. The killer is either here or outside, either way more people will die. I'm just saying that they haven't done this right, it would've been better to keep loved ones together and keep people in their homes.

I don’t know if it’s safe to leave you here alone. As ridiculous as it is for us to be stuck in here, this is actually safety in numbers in this case.

[Salinger takes in the food. He’s got no use for it but he picks something up anyway before turning back to her.] Thanks. I’m Gabriel by the way.

            I have no idea who those people are, but okay. It’s alright to be worried; I’m worried about my kid. Well, she’s not technically my kid, but close enough.

            Does…does this happen often?

A-Ah, not a lot, I haven't been this b-bad since my st-stepfather but... I just don't want my an-anxiety to come back, you know? And the fact that D-Dmitri isn't here, I ha-haven't seen him in d-days and I have no idea how he is, that makes me more w-worried.
