Something wasn’t right.
Florence hadn’t voiced her concern, but the thought nagged at the back of her mind throughout the day. It wasn’t as if she had ever been the kind of girl to be scared of a bit of thunder, but the gray skies and high winds were a bad omen. Bad enough, in fact, that she skipped out on visiting the cemetery and opted only to putter around her house in order to help her grandparents storm-proof the building.
The Marsh House wasn’t dilapidated by any means, but it certainly wasn’t the grand Victorian home it had once been. The paint was chipping, the garden was a bit sparse, and the whole place gave an eerie vibe, but that had never been much concern for Florence. It was home, spooky or no.
So she found herself sitting on a rocking chair under the awning of the wrap-around porch when the first few bursts of thunder filled the skies. Rain began to fall in sheets, causing the occasional passerby to scatter with new vigor. At first, it was amusing to watch them stumble and cling to the fence of the home that had such a bad reputation. Unfortunately, things became all too somber all too fast.
When the storm picked up to deafening levels, Florence considered slinking into the house. Had it not been for the lone form of a pedestrian, she would’ve snuffed her cigarette out and made her way inside. Instead, she stood with a look of careful contemplation before raking her hands through her hair.
❝Ah, fuck -- ❞ Curse her bleeding heart! With hesitation, she called to the figure, ❝HEY! HEY, DIPSHIT.❞ Wait, what? ❝Do you want to sit on the porch or something? It’s fucking terrible out there.❞
If nothing else, at least this might have been good for the reputation of The Marsh House.
More Like Tunnel Of Shit / open
Character A decides to ride solo and, because of that, becomes intrigued by the weeping that begins on the middle of the ride. After abandoning their boat, Character A finds Character B, who has apparently decided to search for the source of the noise as well.
Declan had decided to go on the Tunnel of Love because of all the stories he had heard. Of course, he wasn't to fond of ghosts and whatever else the people made out the weeping to be. He'd had his overly fair share of ghosts and other spirit shit. He wasn't exactly thrilled to be doing this, in fact he was a little afraid. He didn't know what was drawing him to it, but he had this sense of figuring out if the stories were true or not. He was to curious for his own good.
Curiosity killed the cat.
And that was exactly the kind of statement that described Declan. He was to curious for his own good. He got on a boat solo, although there were a couple women who had seemed to want to go along with him. Maybe next time, he thought. The ride began and he sailed off into darkness. The lights that barely illuminated the tunnels creeped the man out, but he did his best to push his thoughts away for now.
As the ride continued on, Declan became increasingly bored and unsatisfied. He had managed to get out of his boat, a hand sliding against the walls as he walked along the tunnel, his shoes getting soaked but he hadn't exactly cared. He continued his journey down the creepy tunnels until his hand landed on a door.
'Freak show' seems to be a pretty apt name. I just saw some lady with six tits.
