Jaymie picked me up this morning and we went to Bunnings to get paint for the new baby's cot. Then we went to Carindale so I could get some lunch boxes for work, I got everything I need and I'm so excited to start on Tuesday. When we went back to Jaymie's Sharna came over and Theo and Sharna helped Jaymie paint the cot. Jaymie made us tuna bake for dinner and we hung out for a bit before she drove us home.

I had dinner with Kaitlyn, Katie and her girlfriend at a sushi place, after Katie and her girlfriend left Kaitlyn and I went to beach house and bought the 3L beer tube of cider and finished it between 2 of us. We had so much fun with the snapchat filters and then we walked to maccas and got food and talked for ages. I haven’t drank that much in a while. It was hard to see where Mason sat at Kirsten’s 21st, and where he sat at my 19th. I miss him.

Sharna and I went to dinner at Vapiano and dessert at San Churro after we went to some shops because I want to find some cute lunch boxes for work. We had a cute date cause we're cute. We walked for ages afterwards, which is becoming like a tradition now, this time nobody yelled out at us.

Nanny and I went to lunch at pancake manor, we had crepes with salad and pancakes with ice cream. We shopped around for a bit, I got a new bag for work. I love how nan gets so happy over little things like I bought her a vanilla coke and she was so excited. It's good to spend time with her but I feel bad because I've been really tired every time I've seen her recently. Because of mums shoulder she comes over a lot to iron clothes and I like that we see her more lately.

Mum drove me to work in the tie dye shirt I made her, I got there like half an hour early so I stood around for a bit before I went in. One of the other new ladies was really lovely and we spoke for ages, she sat with me on both of my breaks and she’s really nice, she offered to buy me lunch and she was just so thoughtful. We got our uniforms fitted and had a general tour of the areas we work in. We did so much training stuff like how to wash our hands and how to pick things up. I saw dad towards the end of the day. It was really good, the trainer and all the other girls were really nice.

So our shirts turned out really cute! Sharna did a quilt cover as well and we ended up doing 3 shirts and a singlet with our $70 kit which is pretty good. I’m so happy with our shirts though, even the quilt cover turned out nicely considering we just squirted the leftover colours all over it. We got pizza and watched family guy. I’m so keen to do more tie dying but that stuffs expensive as heck. Sharna’s great and she drove me home - I’m so excited for when she gets her p’s and we can go to IKEA every single day lmao. First day of my new job tomorrow!

Jaymie's baby shower was pretty cool, it was my first one ever. I was feeling her belly all night last night, it's so strange you can feel the feet of the baby and everything! I went back to Sharna's and stayed the night, we made Anzac biscuits and did tie dye shirts. I'm excited to see how they turn out. We're also cute as hell btw.

We went to DFO today and I got new shoes for work and a dress from City Chic. I was supposed to work tonight but I decided not to because of the way they spoke to Jordan so I officially quit. I had no idea that my last shift would be the last one I did but I don't want to help Jalanga in any way. I went to work and brought Alison some flowers and a card. I feel sad because its been my life for the past almost 2 years but better things are coming. I'm staying at Jaymie's tonight with Sharna for her baby shower tomorrow.

I had an entertainment voucher for beach house so Sharna and I got dinner after I worked, she bought hers and I got mine for free haha. I got chicken breast, avo and potato. We had some drinks and we walked for ages and ages almost all the way to Sharna's house from Garden City we just talked and hung out it was nice. We almost got abducted by a creepy guy in a black car who kept slowing down near us but no big deal lmfao.

Sharna came to work for my last full close, I got my roster for my new job and I’m working every day so I won’t be able to do any more shifts at subway after this roster. I’m glad I got to make her one last sub haha. She stood around for my close out the back so I left the door open so we could talk while I washed up and stuff. It was good to see her again I missed her a lot.

I GOT THE JOB! The interview was scary but as soon as I mentioned mum the lady was like “OH YOURE WANDAS DAUGHTER!” I’m so excited, sad leaving behind the regulars and the other staff but I can’t wait for the new chapter of my life. I’ve loved working at subway but it’s time for something new! I have my first orientation on Tuesday!

Work was hectic and I had so much washing up to do, I put it all off though and talked to Alison for ages because she's resigning and I got a job interview at my parents work and all this stuff going on its crazy. I surprisingly got everything done pretty much the same time as usual even though I spent a lot of time just chilling. I'm so excited for tomorrow.

Before work we went to Wynnum and walked around for a bit then got some lunch, mum brought her picnic bag so we had bread, plates and cups. We had a nice little set up by the water. We talked about Mason a lot, I think it's all just a big shock still, even after the funeral. We all miss him a lot.

Between shifts I went to the shops because I needed to take my mind off things, I couldn't find anything I really needed so I bought pointless junk like a number coded padlock and some plastic draws. I stayed back at work to talk to one of the people I work with and she's really nice, I feel bad because she lives by herself and her family are all in India and she said at her old work they would all talk and hang out but here we just.. exist. Which is true.

I tried to distract myself with games and I ended up just doodling on the Nintendo 3DS for a bit. Time wasting seems to be a skill of mine.

I bought Michael the headset that Mason had. I thought it might be comforting for him, he plays with Mason's photo there. Mum and I made a vanilla and caramel cake, it took my mind off things.

Today I went to the psychologist and I wasn't feeling very good so I went and saw Sharna and Brendan at Garden City. Dad texted me from work saying he felt flat and he didn't want to be there so I got some movenpick and took it to him. He was really happy with it. We thought we were gonna save some but we ended up eating it all. He fed the possums and showed me the new sitting area for the patients outside and showed me how they have brand new wooden chairs and he's got crappy old metal ones. He gave me some mentos and that reminded me of the uber ride with Mason and Michael and John where the driver offered us mentos and said "Mintie?".
