#deltarune #deltarune dess #december holiday #deltarune carol #carol holiday #sorry i feel like this is asssss i think about these two sooo often and i suuck so bad at translating those thoights into art #dess hates mother’s day she hates celebrating it. usually during it she’s cooped up in her room or out in the woods all day #because she’d rather be doing anything else than hear people talk about how much they love their moms how nice their moms are #and all she can think of is the hour long yelling matches and being forced to do things she doesn’t want to do and not feeling #understood or listened to ever ever. it feels like anytime she talks to carol for anything ever it ends up in the two arguing #their relationship was okay when dess was little. but it got distant as she started forming her own opinions and beliefs and whatnot #n dess is still a kid who never entirely learned how to cope with emotions too so. she wasn’t exactly “reasonable” during conversation #oh holy chatterfest….yeah i’ve got more thoughts but eeiuhf i don’t wanna talk too much #enjoy them just standing there i guess #also oh my god dess feels so much shorter in this. the holidays are just freakishly tall to me. deer genes deer genes deer genes

#deltarune #deltarune dess #december holiday #wee wee weee #i don’t want people to forget that dess was most likely. at LEAST 15 years old when she went missing #like. probably couldn’t even drive yet #also yeah i used to darw cats on my desk and try to erase them with my hand and it got the pencil lead literally everywhere and made a mess #and my teachers saw i didn’t do like half of my work and got mad at me XD completely fair i had horrible grades

ANNOUNCEMENT

hellooooo people who follow this blog... as you can see. we're pretty close to reaching day 100!! isn't that neat!! that's a lot of days. i did not think i'd be able to get that far, lol. BUT, this means i do have some. kindof unfortunate news to share regarding that. and the future of this blog with it

after i post the 100th dess, i'll be putting this blog on hiatus for a while. i don't know how long, but probably a while.

of course, we still have a few weeks to go before this (16 days to be exact!) it just felt better to tell everyone in advance. ive been pretty stressed running this blog for a bit. despite how much fun i've had. it gets hard since i have to balance the end of the school year as well as a lotta stuff going on irl. and i don’t have that much motivation to spare for silly dess drawings atm lol.

i know it’s a bit early for this. but i just needed to get this whole thing off my chest before the time came. i know 100 isn’t as far as most blogs would go. but i’ve got short limits :’)

ill most likely come back one day!!!! but. who knows. lol. it could be a few months or even over a year. it might just become occasional doodles

i’ll post desses every day as usual until then, though! i still really want to get to the 100 day goal!! which is why I haven’t flat-out left now lmao.
