🍓 ~ hot summer days only call for picnics and basking under the sun so what not better way to commemorate it than to spend a day with your girlfriend, ellie
🍓 ~ “hey gorgeous” you hear ellie’s voice call out to you from behind while walking towards the designated picnic spot carrying a basket and a quilted mat
🍓 ~ “hello to you too” you stand before her in your flowy sundress on the dewy grass. ellie smiles at you and places the checkered quilt on the grass and sets up the picnic basket filled with the essentials, fruit, finger sandwiches, and a bottle off limoncello
🍓 ~ as the two of you finish setting up the picnic, you sit cross legged facing her and lay out the contents of the basket. “i could get used to this view” ellie smirks at you as she admires you and the scenic background from behind
🍓 ~ “whats that supposed to mean?” you chuckle softly while cracking open the bottles.
“oh you know just the riverbank and the sunset… and maybe you in that stunning sundress looking like a goddess” ellie flashes you a smile and tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear
🍓 ~ a blush creeps up on your cheeks as you face her and smile “you flatter me really”
“how is it flattery if its true?” she pours the beverage from the bottle into two champagne glasses and hands you one
🍓 ~ you take a sip of the citrusy liquid and softly kiss the tip of her nose which causes her to smile and stare at you in awe
“you’re just so sweet” ellie picks up a chocolate-covered-strawberry by its leaf and feeds it to your mouth, she watches as you wrap your lips around the fruit and take bite out of it and she just has an urge to pull you in and kiss you senseless
🍓 ~ you hum in satisfaction as she feeds you the strawberry in your mouth, the juice dripping from the corner. ellie chuckles and wipes it off with her thumb
in return, you hold the strawberry and feed it to hers, you watch as she bites into the strawberry and notice the slight blush that has crept into her cheeks
🍓 ~ she tilts your chin up to look up at her with your luminous eyes, “now i could really get used to this”
she leans in to capture your lips into a soft but passionate kiss tasting the subtle hints of strawberries and lemon on your lips.
🍓 ~ you melt into the kiss and hold her head closer as the kiss deepens, her tongue sliding between your parted lips causing a soft moan to slip out
she runs her hands down your sides and fiddle with the straps of your dress “dont ever stop wearing these dresses” she mutters in between kisses
🍓 ~ you eventually break the kiss, resting your forehead onto hers as you pant ragged breaths while ellie’s hair is slightly disheveled
“god i could kiss you like that until my lungs stop working” ellie presses a soft kiss to your forehead before smiling and hushing sweet nothings in your ear
🍓 ~ “you’re the prettiest girl in my eyes”
