Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved lengthwise)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, sliced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Season both sides of the chicken with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring until fragrant.
Stir in the sliced sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release the flavorful browned bits.
Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red chili flakes. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top.
Cover and simmer for 8–10 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
