I love how Sakura and Nirei are protective of each other. Sakura doesn't want Nirei to get hurt which is hilarious considering it's bound to happen at a school notorious for fighting while Nirei doesn't want anyone to talk shit about his bestie Sakura (dude really got pissed at Momijikawa for not accepting Sakura)

And it's cute that Sakura lets Nirei hold onto him, use him as a barrier to the enemy, allows Nirei to drag him around, and even holds back on throwing hands if Nirei is the one to stop him

We have extrovert adopting introvert cliche with Sakunirei. It's the best of both worlds

I'll never get over how Sakura just let's Nirei cling onto him or "restrain" him. Too many times Nirei is at Sakura's back or he's literally on his knees hugging Sakura's waist to stop his legs from moving forward

Sakura can easily peel Nirei off but he doesn't. He let's Nirei in his personal space bubble. He gets worried in fights when he has to leave Nirei's side and Suo isn't there to defend in his place. He's grown used to Nirei being one of the first, if not the first, to casually touch him and its not strictly for fighting

That's his bestie. Sakura literally on his "protect and attack" when it came to Nirei. They imprinted on each other. And Nirei is like "my friend's feral but he don't bite... mostly". They're insane together.
