Arians always look forward to the next sunrise. They never give up hope for the future, and they roll with the punches. They know that things end, and, when they do, new things take their place. No matter what, they will keep moving forward armed with the knowledge that the future is uncertain but it is theirs to behold.
Taurus: Charlotte Bronte // “I would always rather be happy than dignified.”
Taureans honestly have no regard for what others think of them. They are self-assured and they live the life they want. Most often, they love the finer things in life, and they are unashamed to go after what makes them feel happy and comfortable. They are easy-going for the most part; they quietly live a life that fills them with warmth.
Gemini: George Orwell // “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
Contrary to popular belief, Geminis speak their truth and do so loudly. Their truth evolves and changes, just as it does in the rest of us, but that doesn’t make it any less truthful. They know the power of words, perhaps more than anyone else, and they have a choice between using them righteously and using them immorally. Most choose to use their words for good.
Cancer: Nathaniel Hawthorne // “Our most intimate friend is not he to whom we show the worst, but the best of our nature.”
Cancers have two distinct sides they show to people after the stage of acquaintanceship has been surpassed; one side is brash and defensive and the other is gentle and almost demure. It is those who bring out the latter side in them that get showered in the Cancerian love that is so well-renowned. Instinctively, Cancers know how they feel about someone by the way they make them want to act. Those that bring out the best in them are cherished.

Leos are brave souls that plate themselves in armor made of happiness. They focus on self-betterment and positivity, and they often tell themselves to perk up because they have so much to be grateful for. They are like the class president who gets everyone’s spirits up when they most need it. They live in the present as much as possible, always hopeful in the future they know they can create for themselves.
Virgo: Agatha Christie // “Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but that’s no reason not to give it.”
Virgos want only the best for the people they care about; because of this, they are unafraid to give sound advice based on their own mistakes or successes. They feel in their hearts a duty to speak up when someone they care about could be going down the wrong path, getting to know the wrong person, etc. They will always fulfill the obligation they feel inside them even if it continually goes ignored and unappreciated.
Libra: F. Scott Fitzgerald // “I like people and I like them to like me, but I wear my heart where God put it, on the inside.”
Libras are famously charming and likable, but they are always careful to keep some things only for themselves. Libras have many more secrets than people realize, and they know how much is too much when it comes to sharing personal stories/information. This is part of what can make Libras seem ‘perfect’; they know when to stop themselves in order to save face, and they aren’t afraid to pull back when something becomes too intimate.
Scorpio: Sylvia Plath // “I desire the things which will destroy me in the end.”
Scorpios are always in a delicate dance between protecting themselves and giving in to their longing for forbidden fruit. Things/people which could genuinely hurt them only intrigue them more, until they finally give in or move on. Perhaps why they are drawn to things which could ultimately hurt them is because pain is a transformative experience for them; in some ways, it sets them free.
Sagittarius: Emily Dickinson // “Find ecstasy in life; the mere sense of living is joy enough.”
Sagittarians are great adventurers, and they seek out experiences rather than material objects. They are eternal optimists, and they find life to be one big, fantastic opportunity. They want to do the most they can in their lifetime, even if, in the end, they just have a bunch of fun stories to tell their grandchildren. They know it all will have been worth it, because what is life anyway? It’s what you make it.
Capricorn: J.R.R. Tolkien // “Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”
Capricorns will follow their path through good times and hard times, never losing sight of their goal. With Saturn being their ruler, they are equipped from a young age to deal with hardship. They know that nothing worth anything will ever come from taking the easiest path and avoiding obstacles. For these reasons, it is always difficult for them to understand those who quit when the going gets tough.

Aquarians, above all, need personal freedom and autonomy. They are made to march to the beat of their own drum, so being caged in someone else’s reality just won’t do. To them, it would be a fate worse than death to be unable to think, speak, and do as they please. To contain them would be to deny them the reality of who they are.
Pisces: John Steinbeck // “I wonder how many people I’ve looked at all my life and never seen.”
Pisceans often go through life in a dazed state of mind. They are receptors for emotions, and a lot of the time they turn their brain on autopilot so they can attain some semblance of peace, albeit in a numb way. When they begin to accept their feelings once again, they are left with the thoughts of all the people they failed to care about and it haunts them.
