Final project

I make a decision to abandon my current idea in order to save the final project. Though Green Lunch Box is really important project, there might be some problems to be seriously analyzed again. Thus, I am rethinking the concept of the final project...

Language

What I am currently considering is the fact that people who are not good at speaking a foreign language can be seen as disabled people because they have difficulties in terms of having a communication with others. For this reason, I am seriously thinking about making things to provide an disabled experience to the public with the use of languages or their alternatives. But I do not have a proper idea whether this approach is the best.

In the light of this purpose, using Braille seems like an attractive subject though this method has a loophole. For instance, when it is encoded to sound it would lose its linguistic function because it cannot be read by even blind people. Even so, it definitely has a value to explore more for a communication project.

The lack of understanding about a CRITICAL ATTITUDE.

Personally, I believed that the work designed with a critical attitude allows designers to actively use a transformation, distortion, omission, as well as destruction of readability when they deal with a text. Because of this, I extremely reduced a word space of less important sentences in the poster designed with a critical attitude. Also, initially, I thought that the legibility of a text is not important, apart from a poster created with a neutral attitude. Contrarily, I heard about a clue from a professor who pointed out that reading a text is more important than reading image in this assignment, while at the same time, the close word space which impedes readers to understand the meaning of text. Considering several different comments, it seems that there is a misunderstanding that I cannot define it clearly yet. Even though there is this obscurity, I will apply once not only increasing readability of text, but also changing posters designed with affirmative and critical attitude during the process of developing three postersThis consideration, thinking, and exercising are incomparably interesting as much as the creation of outstanding output.

A language barrier is higher than I thought it would. Unfortunate as it is, the efficiency rate of communication has been maintained only about 30% since I have lived in the US. Thus, it should immediately go up to 70% for my successful academic years. Undeniably, students' unskilled language ability can be considered in school, but it cannot be accepted in a society.

Dejection is a feeling of sadness that you get, for example, when you have just been disappointed by something.
