“Many say that, actually, but I guess it’s more about the person than the house.” Bella took another sip from her tea and nodded quickly. “ Nice to make your acquaintance. You already know who I am so..” she shrugged, knowing that she had quite the reputation. “Do you often sit by yourself drinking tea?”

“Yes, well, people say a lot of incorrect things about hufflepuffs. We’re underestimated quite often,” Daisy said a little bitterly, although it wasn’t directed at Bellatrix. “Yes, I drink a lot of tea.”

   “No really it’s fine.” exhaling sharply, “It’s just annoying when people talk about you, especially incorrectly.” However Glenda wouldn’t let this ruin her morning, especially after having a stellar run, “It wasn’t bad…I traveled in Greece for a few weeks. Mainly caught up on witch weekly and tried to live a pretty low key summer.” For once she actually had a break from being the best, especially her little runway to Greece. “How about yourself Dais? Anything eventful?”

“Yes, I know,” Daisy said sadly. She’d had her fair share of nasty things said about her over the years, most of the students thought she was weird. “Greece sounds lovely! I didn’t do anything near as exciting as that. I stayed home, in Birmingham, mainly. I went to the Summer’s Crest Festival in Hogsmeade, though. Did you?”

    “Please as if.” she quickly dismissed the rumor, “Like I’d sleep with someone who was a towny from Bath. Besides I was out of the country for most of the summer…god when will people think up something clever to lie about me for once.”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you,” Daisy said, fixing her hair awkwardly. “How was your summer? Where did you holiday?”

   “ Chocolate, of course.” she shrugged her shoulders as she clapped excitedly. “ One spoon of sugar, please. No more than that.”

“My favourite! Thank you,” Daisy said, taking a cookie. “These are really good.” She dumped a spoonful of sugar into Marlene’s mug, “no milk then?”

Remus smiled at Daisy and happily accepted a cup of tea as he sat down with her “I see the badge fits just right - and it doesn’t seem that anyone has noticed” he looked around the emptying hall to make sure no one was too close to earshot “Also i just wanted to make sure you were okay - considering with what we found in the storeroom” he said, his voice slightly lowered and concern in his eyes

Daisy looked down at the less-than-shiny prefect badge on her robes, “it’s been perfectly convincing so far. Let’s just hope it stays that way.” She poured Remus a cup of tea and pushed the milk and sugar dishes toward him, in case he needed them. “I-yeah, I am. At least I think so. What about you?”

At this point, Emma was more than restless. Being locked in made her feel a lot like a bird in a cage. When Daisy offered her a cup of tea as she passed by, the Slytherin figured that it might actually help to calm her wrecked nerves a little.”Yeah,sure”, she exclaimed with a small smile as she took a seat on the bench. “Why not? Like,what’s the worst thing that could happen from having too much tea?”

"Great!” Daisy exclaimed and poured up another cup of tea. “I don’t think anything bad can happen from drinking tea. It solves everything, which means it can’t really cause anything bad, right?” she said and let out a small giggle. “How do you take it? Milk? Sugar?” She reached across the table for the dishes.

A smirk played across her features as she sipped from the cup. “ I can only imagine what you’ve heard about me.” Bella shrugged.“ There’s a certain way people talk sometimes. You pick up on it eventually. Like they’re trying to speak but they don’t want to say the wrong thing. You’re not doing that right now. Maybe it’s not so much boldness but rather lack of cowardice.”

Daisy shrugged, not wanting to tell Bellatrix all the things she’d heard about her over the years. Some things were better left unsaid. “I’ll take that as a compliment. Who said hufflepuffs couldn’t be brave, right?” she said with a smile and took another sip of her tea. “I’m Daisy, by the way. In case you didn’t know.”

    “ Hm, tea?” Marlene called out as she let a bag of cookies fall on the table. “ Tea and cookie sounds like the best combination. Doesn’t it?” she called out with a small as she hopped on the bench right besides Daisy.

“That does sound delicious, yes. What kind of cookies are they?” Daisy asked and slid the teapot toward Marlene. “Do you need sugar or milk?”
