I'll say it, deltarune fans are way too afraid of Kris doing even the slightest immoral actions. NOT ME THOUGH.

KRIS COULD KILL THEIR DAD AND ILL MAKE SURE TO DRAW THEM IN A WAY THAT INVOKES THE GREEK TRAGEDY THAT THEY ARE!! ILL MAKE SURE THEY WOULD LOOK GOOD WHILE DOING IT!!

Not being able to love a hurt character that sometimes hurts others. Skill issue.

In all seriousness I don't think we should shy away from Kris's dubious actions just because they are a victim. I don't think that would do their character justice.

Also there is something inherently icky about switching on a hurt character just because they sometimes make dubious or morally grey choices. Like i am not saying deltarune fandom is inherently a perfect victim advocate BUT i do think it needs to mind their choice of words.

You want a player vs protagonist dynamic so badly yet the moment the pratognoist starts working against you, your first reaction is "that they deserved to be possessed." And by saying that whether intentionally or not you're saying that a person with possible mental issues should get reprimanded just because they go against you and that's a very dangerous and icky mindset.

You don't care about Kris's character. You're just mad that they weren't your doll.

Be normal about Kris.

They don't need to be an angel. To be loved. They don't need to be the devil. To be hated.

It's ok to acknowledge their pain while still being objective about them. It's ok to like a morally complex character.

And to all my Kris fans don't worry about these things while it's devastating that some people are not willing to have proper discussion about your blorbo don't worry about fan reactions either. Trust me in hindsight it wouldn't matter just keep doing what you do.

Anyway I just wanted to say this before chapter 5 because i could feel the flood gates open again. So I'll make my statement loud and clear. I don't give a FUCK if Kris continue to do morally dubious actions. They'll still be interesting to me no matter what.
