“Well, why not? I don’t have much to do, so why not have a little adventure?”
“Usually the monsters that party a lot near the forest tend to summon evil demons using a book of wizardry and necromancy from the library. I’m not quite sure if they ever put the demons back from where they came from or how many demonic portals that they have opened, but I know there are about one or two evil demons trying to feast on the souls on some of the students…or just eating all of the meals in the cafeteria. Maybe we can try to put them back the way they came from!”
“An excellent idea! Then we must make haste to save our classmates from losing their souls! And starvation!” His ghostly eyes fell on Daisy. “But first, we must get you properly attired for a grand quest! Come! To the armory!”
And with that, the ghost knight made his way deeper into the auditorium and toward the Prop Room, which he had converted into an armory to store his armor and weaponry.
An armory? Since when did the auditorium have an armory? Oh, wait, this was the supposed prop room…How was he able to change it to an armory?
“Guess the prop room turned into your armory. Didn’t really expect me to need a new outfit, but that’s fine!”
Gareth nodded as he looked over various battleaxes. “But of course! Every knight must keep their weapons in one place to keep track of them! And we must get you properly attired! You will need the right equipment in case we end up running into a dragon of some sort, after all!”
“Highly doubt we will run into a dragon, but who knows? This school is filled with a lot of weird things! Anyway, you really think you have something for me here?”
She said as she curiously looked at all of the weapons and armor.
“But of course! Now then, which do you prefer? Swords? Battleaxes, perhaps? Ooh, how about spears?”
It was clear the ghostly knight was getting excited at prospect of adventure!
She had to think about this for a moment. After all, she wants him to make this feel like a real adventure.
“Maybe anything that isn’t so heavy.”
Gareth nodded, looking through the large array of weaponry and armor before settling on something.
He dove into the pile and emerged moments later with a robe and some sort of staff. “How about this? Every good fighter needs a mage on their team, do they not?”
“I do believe they do! Mages always fascinates me when I read them in stories.”
“Excellent!” The knight handed the robes and staff to the other. “It is settled! I shall be the brave, strong knight and you shall be the smart, mystical mage! Oh, this is excellent!“
Daisy put on the robes and held on to the staff, adjusting her glasses.
“Now, I believe we should probably start in the cafeteria. Some demons are usually spotted there at times.”
