Wanda’s long, slender fingers wiggled and weaved at her sides, red tendrils of energy picking up books and floating them to their proper spot, Wanda watching in concentration with a small smile on her face. It was nice to use her powers, ones that had been once created for destruction, for something so normal and mundane. She glanced up as the bell above the door dinged, someone having walked into the store, and she settled the last few books on the shelf before approaching the person, offering a smile. “Is there anything I can help you find today?” She asked curiously, Sokovian accent still thick after all these years of being away from the city that was once home to her.
Daisy wandered through the doors, looking around briefly before her eyes landed on the approaching figure. She gave the woman a small smile, hiding surprise at her voice. “That’s a cool accent,” she comments offhandedly, hands resting her her jean pockets. She rocks on her heels and shakes her head. “I have a free day and I’ve mostly been walking around. I accidentally walked into a rather exotic, to say kindly, shop. Are you the owner?”
“Hey, no! DON’T TOUCH THAT! It’s not a toy!”
“Oops?” Daisy raises her hands in mock surrender, taking a step back. “Sorry man. Curiosity is a dangerous thing.” She offers sheepishly.
mspepperxpotts:
Pepper winced sympathetically when the girl laid the ice pack on her arm, but smiled softly as the girl spoke at her. “You look a little tired,” she said, trying to be kind. “Oh, well, it’s an old habit to take care of bumps and bruises.”
Daisy laughs and rubs her free hand over her face, bandaged as well but not as sore. “I pretty much tired all the time,” she admits with a small huff of laughter. “I’m rather bad at taking care of myself, I mostly just wrap it up and ice it. Fortunately for my health, one of my best friends is a doctor or I’d be lost.”
vulcangabriel:
“Nope. Not talking about medical help at all.” He chuckled and laughed. He didn’t even have that in mind, but he’d just have to learn how to phrase things better than what he normally does. “It is indeed one of my many. But it’s just like a flick of the wrist and boom you’re healed.” He nodded his head. “But for some reason people like battle wounds?” He gave a confused face at that fact.
“That must come in handy, being able to heal quicker would be a big help.” Her lips twitch in amusement and she shrugs. “People think battle scars make them look tough or something, I suppose. I think that is foolish, I’ve had all kinds of wounds, some that have left scars. There’s nothing cool about it.” She says, rolling her eyes.
mspepperxpotts:
Pepper is about to protest when the girl actually says yes. “Oh, of course, I don’t mind. Hold on.” She disappears into a nearby restaurant, and returns a few minutes later, the ice already wrapped up in the handkerchief from her purse. “Here you go. I don’t know how much it’ll help, but it’s better than nothing, isn’t it?”
“Yeah, I appreciate it.” She assures, resting the ice carefully on her left arm. She clenched her jaw at the cold but relaxed. The Inhuman gives her a thankful smile, keeping the limb still on her lap. “I must look awful, it’s kind of you to help. I don’t think many others would.” She laughs quietly.
ciscoovibes:
Cisco had seen that expression of hiding behind a smile way too many times to be fooled by it. At least she was honest about it. “Yeah, no. That looks bad, like, you got into a bad fight, bad, girl. You are so not fooling anyone with your arm looking like that.” He pointed at it, grimacing at how much that must’ve hurt. “What happened? You’re not secretly in a fight club and have to kill me, are you?” He joked, only half serious. There had been too many badass women who could kick his ass for him not to be a little cautious.
Daisy can’t help but smile, flexing her hand slowly. “I was, but these aren’t really from that.” She hesitates for a moment before looking around them. Her eyes land on the glass bottle and exhales. After checking to make sure no one is around them, she looks back at him. “The bottle.” She gestures toward it, waiting to make sure he’s looking before she lets the vibrations move through her and from her outstretched hand. The bottle shakes, the ground moving below them slightly before the glass explodes. She grimaces slightly at the ache in her arm before looking back up at him. “Not a fight club.”

Bucky hummed in response as he looked at the bruises. “Have you tried aloe vera?” he asked. “Bruises don’t really last that long for me, but they go away even fater if I put aloe vera on them. And ice, obviously.”
“Aloe?” Daisy repeats, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “I thought that was mainly just for sunburns. She runs her fingers over the bumpy bandages thoughtfully and shrugs. “I hopefully only have to wait a little longer for a friend to get me some medicine that’ll help. Super healing must come in handy, I’m a little jealous.” She smiles, mostly joking.
sinxtheashmidt:
“Well, here is a little tip – if you are trying to avoid anyone, perhaps you should not stay in a public area,” she said dryly. “That is the thing about ‘public’ spaces, they are, in fact, open to the public.”
“I didn’t really have the chance to find somewhere. It’s not that bad a choice, good access and mostly empty,” she shrugs, not bothered by her tone. “It was the best I could do with the time I had and this place sells amazing muffins. You should try one.”
monmonmonica:
Monica pulled out her own phone, frowning a little at the brightness as she checked the time. “It’s a little after midnight.” She told the girl, sliding her phone back into the pocket of her shorts and tugging at the sleeves of her sweatshirt. “Are you sure you’re okay? Those bruises don’t look good…” Monica’s brows furrowed in worry, glancing back at her arms before looking at the woman.
Daisy frowns at the time, looking around briefly. “I don’t know when it got so late,” she runs a hand through her hair and nods with a strained smile. “I’m okay, they’re nothing I can’t deal with.” She fixes the bandages and stands with only some trouble, releasing a deep breath. “You’re out awful late yourself.” She adds after a moment in a poorly disguised attempt to change the conversation away from her.
mockingbirdxbobbi:
“You should take it easy for a while” Bobbi told her looking down at her arm. “Maybe it is, but what do I know, I heal really fast” she shrugged, due to the serum she healed much faster than normal.
“Taking it easy isn’t exactly an option,” Daisy quirks an eyebrow, amused at the idea. “It’s good to hear you’re doing well. I’m jealous, I feel like it takes forever for my arms to stop hurting. The whole Inhuman thing would be even better if I could heal easier. But I guess going non-stop isn’t helpful." She pauses and grimaces. "I realize I’m just dumping all of this on you, I don’t mean to.”
ciscoovibes:
Cisco had been practicing his breach opening powers, trying to make them go where he wanted them to go. It was risky to be caught and mostly a hit and miss, but he just wanted to get a hang of this thing. This time, he ended up somewhere definitely not familiar, and he really hoped, was still in Star City. About to open a breach home, he heard heavy breathing not far from him. Quiet, barely heard, but it was there.
It took him a moment to decided whether to check it out or not. But his concern won over. Once a part of Team Flash, always a part of Team Flash, after all. “Whoa, are you okay?” Cisco rushed over to the woman he found, staring to her arm. He was no doctor, but even he could tell that didn’t look good.
Daisy’s head whipped around toward the voice, prepared to stand and fight if needed. His concern washed over her and she relaxed, as much as she ever does and forces a small smile. The pain is etched on her face and she can’t find the energy to hide it. “I would say it’s not as bad as it looks, but that’s a cliche line no one ever really falls for. And you seem pretty smart.” She says softly, looking back down at her arm. “It’s not new, I can handle it mostly. The pain just gets overwhelming sometimes.”
vulcangabriel:
He watched her bandage up her arm with a curious expression. “You do know that there are people who can heal and take care of that for you?” He might have took the easy way out, but he would take any healing from powers that he could ever get, because injuries were very serious. “Me being one of one of those people.” He shrugged softly.
Daisy quirks an eyebrow, looking from her arm back to him. “I have some medicine that help the bones, but there’s not much else doctors can do. Unless you’re not talking about medical help.” She tilts her head slightly as she observes him, fixing the bandage on her left arm. “Is that a power you have then? Healing I mean.”
mspepperxpotts:
Pepper winced sympathetically as she saw the bruises. “Want some ice?” she asked softly, as the woman was clearly trying to be surreptitious. “I think I had a handkerchief in my purse somewhere, we would ask for ice from a restaurant.”
Daisy isn’t bothered by being approached, she didn’t have the energy to find somewhere to actually hide. She merely shook her head, a pained smile tugging at her lips. “Thank you for the offer, but,” she pauses, closing her eyes briefly at the deep ache in both her arms. “Actually I would really appreciate that, if you’re sure you don’t mind.”
ghostsoldxt:
Bucky looked over at the girl, raising an eyebrow. “What did you do?” he asked. He wasn’t sure if she was supposed to be being sneaky or not, but if so, she was failing.
Daisy hid the surprise at seeing who it was and gave a small smile in return. “My ability come with a rather unpleasant repercussion. She dropped the bandage in her lap and showed him the exposed arm covered in bruises clearly. “Broken bones and colorful bruises, making the use of my power rather painful after.”
sinxtheashmidt:
Sinthea watched with an entirely blank face as the girl unwrapped her arm. “If you are trying to be subtle, you are failing,” she said bluntly. “Why are you trying to hide your injury? Did you get hurt doing something nefarious?”
Her pained face was quickly turned into embarrassment, a small sigh slipping from her lips. She glanced over and eyed the woman. “There are certain people who can’t know about this unfortunate weakness. And I do happen to be avoiding pretty much everyone. But I agree, for my occupation this was a bad attempt at hiding.” She nods, letting her hand drop into her lap carefully.
monmonmonica:
One of these days Monica would walk home from work at night and get there without seeing anything too odd. Tonight was not that night, Monica discovered as she walked down the street, hands slid into her shorts pockets as she walked home from the diner. She couldn’t help but stop at the sight of a woman, who was unwrapping something from her arm. Monica furrowed her brows, it was too dark to see anything, but she could tell the woman was in pain by the sound of her harsh breathing. Monica approached her slowly, shyly, clearing her throat once she was close enough. “Are you alright?”
Daisy closed her eyes when she realized she hadn’t been as hidden as she had tried to be. Looking up she gave a pained smile, carefully wrapping her arm in the bandages again. At least it was just a stranger, she relaxed just a little. “I’m okay, thank you for the concern. Just a few bruises, no big deal. Do you happen to know the time? I lost my phone and I kind of lost track in what I was doing.”
